Im making a big ass thing on notion

Basically, it is a giant catalog of therian and otherkin gear.

From ears and tails, to collars, to wings, to horns, to fins, to clothes, all of it. (Everything I could find at least.)

I have it separated by therian/otherkin, canine/cat/aquatic ect and devinekin/demonkin/darkkin ect.

Then, it's by type. Wild cat/domestic cat/other. Wolf/domestic /other. Ect.

Then it's by exact species. Timber wolf/snow wolf/coastal wolf. Stuff like that. For absolutely everything.

I'm trying to get as many kins as possible so everyone can use this, so please, comment your kin so I can make sure it's there. (Especially if it's a rare one!!)

ill add links and pictures, make sure they are not from harmful fur farms, make sure the quality is good, all of that stuff.

But yeah. I'm super excited for when it's done tbh, and I hope a lot of people see this. (Please reblog :'))

So, some of you may have noticed that I've been gone for a while, and I just wanted to talk about why!

I absolutely adore the Alterhuman community, but I feel very out of place here as well too. It's not that I feel unwelcome, but more that I don't really have much to say in regards to my identities since not that many people would be able to relate to my own experiences. And I've always held the philosophy that if I post something publicly, I want to know that at least 1-2 people are able to positively see themselves reflected in my message.

Also, I've noticed that the less time I spend in the community, the less dysphoric I get. I guess it's easier to exist as "human" when you're not constantly reminded of the fact you aren't one. But, also that, I wanted to focus on my personal journey with identity in a way where I didn't have to feel preformative. And, in doing so, I was able to confirm that I am Snow Leopardkin!

I've also been taking a lot of time to look at what I want to do with my Alterhumanity. I've been slowly building a personal faith/spirituality revolving around my identity as a Star God. Its amazing creating practices I can do to feel more connected to the earth and stars that feel entirely like me. But it's also taken up a LOT of my time and energy. Because, as it turns out, creating a personal faith to live by while also being atheist and having Religious trauma, is hard work lol

So, yea! I just wanted to pop in real quick, give you all an update on how things are going, and to let you know I haven't left the community or anything! I'm still here, I'm still proudly Alterhuman, and I'm still thriving!

Also, if anyone wants to know more about my lil personal faith, just comment below and I might make a post explaining some of the basics of the practices, beliefs, and how it relates back to me being Starkin!

an experience in remembering old memories.

I remember the ocean…

At first I thought I was alone, but you were with me, let me help you remember.

It wasn’t too cold, the breeze nice on my skin… my fur, really. I was in my wolf form, black and grey. I believe in this part of the world it was my favorite shape to take. You, my dear light, were in the form of a wolf as well, shining bright in the dull, stormy morning.

Rain was to come.

My paws squished into the dark, wet sand. It felt freezing to the touch, influenced by the ocean, but I didn’t mind. My prints would soon be washed away along with yours.

I was teaching you something: how to take shapes and keep them, how to meld with whatever shape you take. Feel the instincts of a canine wash over you—you’re good at that, it seems. Your tail won’t stop swishing in the excitement at the prospect of your newfound life.

You pranced and played around me, but I didn’t mind this either. All work, no play and all that.

I just had a really funny thought.

Like, some gods are paying taxes.

Some terrifying creature is very casually buying food at the store.

Some demon is watching their favorite YouTuber play a random game.

Some eldritch being is having a nice chat with someone over tea/coffee.

And it's like, so odd to me? But also not really? It's very amusing. Like, your so literally a being of mass power, and yet you can't say no to taxes. Damn bro :')
