So the animal DNA that allows Devon his fantastic abilities also kind of messes with his libido. He's stated to Betty before that he wants her to have his kids. Betty's on board, but not quite at this time. It's a fun fantasy and Devon keeps a lot of condoms on hand when they have sex because he WANTS to breed her and he's fucking GONNA (for real one day)

It's no secret that the Grid Battleforce Rangers are soft on Ben and Betty Burke. Less common knowledge is that it's because they're good at their jobs in unorthodox ways.

Ben and Betty are clumsy and silly. They knock things over, break things by accident, spill things in Nate's lab - the list goes on and on. However, each and every time it happens something important is always brought to life. For that alone, the Rangers are supremely thankful.

Other, however, not so much. And if Devon catches even a whiff of that guy who made Betty cry, Grid Battleforce Red has no issues reminding before that strength isn't all he received from the Grid.

"Dev?" Betty asks.

Devon looks up. They're laying in bed, just existing together. Betty's got a book, Devon's got his switch, they're both doing their own activities together. Devon loves time like this because it offers him time to recharge his social meters. "What's wrong, Bets?"

Betty bites her lip, then quietly asks, "Will you say the thing?"

Devon grins, sits up, and nods. "Betty Burke," he says, "light of my life and heart of my hearts. You're enough and perfect as you are. I appreciate you so, so much."

Betty's eyes water, but she leans over and hugs Devon tightly. "Thanks Dev," she murmurs.

Devon hugs her back. "Anytime, babe."
