Thoughts about Weiss the Immaculate from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII

IIRC, before Weiss was announced to be the next playable char in the Japanese version of Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia, there was a hint that the next new char would be someone who uses a sword as a weapon. There was also a strong possibility that this char would be from Final Fantasy VII.

When I heard about that, I immediately thought that this was referring to Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

Currently, Genesis is my absolute, most fave Final Fantasy char so needless to say, was really hoping that he would indeed be the newest playable char for DFFOO. Been looking forward to him being added to this game for what feels like forever now.

Sadly, gonna have to wait even longer for his first appearance in DFFOO because I soon found out that the aforementioned hint of a FF7 sword user being the newest Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia char was actually referring to Weiss.

Was really disappointed when I heard that because I was really hoping that Genesis would be added to this game already.

For now, I guess Weiss will be the closest I'll get to having Genesis in DFFOO, at least until they actually and finally add him to this game. Hopefully, they'll do that soon.

Because of Weiss's connection to Genesis, planning to pull for him although I'm still disappointed he turned out to be the new char instead of my fave Genesis. At least Weiss is apparently pretty good in DFFOO.

Act 4, Ch. 4, Pt. 1: The Planet and the Immaculate Banner 1 Free Multi-Draw Tickets Results

Have 3 multi-draw tickets that can be used on either of the Act 4, Ch. 4, Pt. 1: The Planet and the Immaculate banners. Decided to use all 3 of these tickets on banner 1.

The first ticket gave me my first copy of Weiss's Ex.

Yes! Pleased to see this.

Since this is also the very first weapon I ever got for Weiss and since I haven't played through the new story chapter yet, obtaining said weapon automatically recruited him to my chars list.

The second ticket gave me a dupe of Nine's 15cp as well as my first copies of Weiss's 15cp and 35cp.

The third ticket gave me dupes of Papalymo's 15cp and 35cp.

But aside from that, much to my surprise, this pull also gave me my very first copy of Weiss's Burst weapon.

Hell, yes! Super pleased to see this. Now just need his LD and FR then I can be done with this banner.

But it looks like I'm gonna have to pity it. At least already have 180 G Tokens on this banner, and it's much cheaper to pity a LD as opposed to having to pity a FR or BT.

2/11 - dupes of Papalymo's LD and Weiss's Ex

And that's it. Down to 1209660 gems and now have exactly 200 G Tokens on this banner, the exact amount I need to exchange for Weiss's LD.

Looks like I ended up having to pity it after all. Ah, well. It's fine. At least I was able to get all his other weapons easily enough.

Act 4, Ch. 4, Pt. 1: The Planet and the Immaculate Banner 1 G Token Exchange Shop

Went to the Act 4, Ch. 4, Pt. 1: The Planet and the Immaculate banner 1 G Token Exchange Shop to get Weiss's LD and that was when I noticed that the image of Papalymo's LD on said shop doesn't have a red check mark yet.

Welp, as it turns out, I have a copy of this weapon but it hasn't been limit broken at all so the dupe I got earlier wasn't just yet another Power Stone.

Anyway, so I exchanged the 200 G Tokens I just got for 1 copy of Weiss's LD.

After that, I started building Weiss but gonna have to talk about that in another post since this one is already nearing the max limit of 30 pics.

i have absolute shit luck in genshln, in feh, in pokemas, in dffoo, even in gbf, but star rail likes me a little bit better. i tried another ten pulls, hoping for lynx E1, but ofc not, just got luocha's 4* lc, but since it's the one i'm using for my luocha and he's my support character, it's okay, i'll take it.

now i'm saving up for aventurine, sam or maybe argentine, depends who comes when and what they actually do (i mean, if by design alone, all three of them, but look, i skipped on il!dh bc i needed a quantum character AND I GOT TWO OF THEM).

Spinner plays FFXIV ARR

SPOILERS AHOY (not that anyone cares about ARR in this day and age)

- For my first dungeon, I was a Roegadyn conjurer surrounded by three Lalafell. I’d figured out by that point that players just clip through each other (even if mobs don’t, lol), but I was still kinda worried about stepping on them. They’re like knee-high to me at best.

- - (Conversely, I once ran a guildhest w/3 Roegadames, so there’s that. We commented on how unlikely of an occurrence it was.)

- I admit it, I enjoy walking around as a Roegadame feeling morally superior to all the Miqo’te. And most of the Viera now, tbh.

- one of my favorite things to do quickly became dispensing free heals/raises after a FATE or when running across stray people having difficulty fighting mobs in the wild. People would clap and cheer for me. It’s a great feeling. Made a few friends this way.

-- (I definitely always look to see if that cyclops FATE is up when I pass through the Coerthas Central Highlands so I can go repeatedly raise all the poor noobs dying left and right thanks to that dang 100-Tonze Swing. I usually don’t even bother level-syncing for it. I just stand on the outskirts and raise. And raise. And raise again, haha.)

- I frequently forgot (and still forget) to do the MSQ bc I get sidetracked gathering and crafting. or just doing side quests, no doubt to Fray’s great chagrin

- ground CNJ to 30 to get my unicorn, then figured out I had to unlock actually using mounts via MSQ, so I went off to go fight Ifrit in shame

- I fully admit I picked my GC (Twin Adders) based solely on which company salute I liked best. Also, Gridania was my starter city. Still not sold on the yellow, though

- as a healer, I usually commend my tanks unless they have evinced such stupidity that I do not wish to reward their behavior. If my co-healer has done a fantastic job (not often, sadly), I’ll commend them. If the red mage or summoner raises me or other party members, they get the commend. (This is vanishingly rare, especially for SMN.) If the dragoon outlives the tank by not eating AOE’s, he gets the commend. If the tank is a jerk and the dragoon is perfectly lovely (and probably does a better job tanking the mobs than the blue moron), the latter DEFINITELY gets the commend.

- shout-out to that one red mage on story mode Titan who died almost as much as the rest of us combined (the dragoon defied his stereotype and was just as durable as the tank, ironically enough). It wasn’t even the backflip killing the red mage; it was the avoidable AOE’s. It must be the black mage in them that makes them allergic to dodging.

- the tank for that story mode Titan just said, “LOL,” in chat when we all died, so that has been my inspiration ever since to take wipes with good grace

- Cid was an instant fave from the moment I first met his character. I admit I wanted to kick Alphinaud off the airplane as soon as we recovered it. He was not endearing himself to me, at all.

- didn’t really care for Haurchefant until he came racing into the middle of our fight with that heretical fake inquistitor with the bad facial hair. If a NPC helps me in combat, I automatically like them more.

- the story made me super worried about story mode Garuda, but she went down so fast I almost missed the second phase

- entered Camp Bluefog for the first time into a scene of absolute chaos with like 15 players grinding the lvl-40 FATE’s so I jumped right in alongside them and started throwing stones at ahrimans and coblyns. it was such an exhilarating feeling

- in retrospect, my first Castrum Meridianum run (that left me dead on the floor several times and questioning my skills as a healer) was not really due to me being undergeared but mostly to the tanks not doing THEIR jobs and picking up all the mobs. It was such a chaotic mess that me sitting there and doing nothing, not even healing, so as not to grab aggro was the only way I could survive

- shout-out to that warrior with the plain white shirt and plain white pants glamour on my first Praetorium run who looked like he just woke up, grabbed his axe, and ran off to tank Ultima Weapon in his pajamas. He was also an elezen, I believe, for extra points.

- also shout-out to that guy killing the 2.0 endboss with a magic moogle stick

- look, if you’re not spending your MSQ roulette judging everyone else’s glams and mocking Gaius’s speeches, what are you even doing??? I admit, though, that I mostly grab a book and a cup of coffee for those 5-min cutscenes. I found their story riveting the first time around, but not on the 30th time.

- I actually really liked Urianger even in his ARR outfit? It suited him

---- me playing DFFOO: I don’t care for Thancred

---- me playing FFXIV: *cheers when Thancred comes onscreen*

- Thancred is my son who shall receive less alcohol and more sleep and encouragement and a gunblade and a very nice coat and possibly a pet squirrel. I know he’s my tank now but I feel the urge to take care of him. (And laugh at him when his various angry girlfriends show up again, of course.)

- I would like to thank that tank in my first run of Lost City of Amdapor who gave me a trial by fire in pulling everything wall-to-wall and indirectly teaching me how to manage big pulls (hint: spam Holy)

- not even making, “Pull the lever, Kronk!” jokes in Sastasha Hard can atone for that tank who pulled 12 things w/o warning and kept leaving me to die via aggro’d adds and THEN telling me to bring adds to him. Like, it was advice I needed to hear, but it does no good when zombie fish pirates eat me before I can reach him.

- I might actually rather heal through Aurum Vale again rather than Sastasha Hard

- oddly enough, I’ve had 0% problems tanking Sastasha Hard

- according to the laws of equivalent exchange, however, this means that I have all the problems while tanking in Aurum Vale, between hideously undergeared healers, DPS stealing my morbol fruit on the 2nd boss, lag murdering me via Bad Breath, and general lack of coordination among DPS

- I actually got pretty good at tanking Dzemael Darkhold, though? I finally figured how and where to pull the mobs to get out of the various AOE’s

- I also got pretty good at tanking Cutter’s Cry, between grabbing the adds, avoiding death via cactuar, not stopping on sand traps or geysers, and memorizing the chimera’s attacks. Somehow, I always get morons for DPS and sometimes healer as well in Cutter’s Cry, so it doesn’t count for much. The last time I was there (on WAR), I had to kill the chimera without a healer because they died to the first eyes-glow-purple and I wasn’t about to wipe and start over when they were barely achieving anything anyway. Thank goodness for a rare competent black mage on that run.

- I ran the Odin trial pretty much as soon as it was available (and via DF, too, whoops; I know better now) and we wiped at least 8 times before clearing. 75% of the time I was one of the last 3 or the actual last person standing so clearly I had improved from all the dying left and right I did in my first Castrum Meridianum and Praetorium runs.

---- on that Odin run, my Lalafell co-healer uttered this immortal line in chat: “I am trying my best, though I am but a popoto... now a baked popoto.”

- speaking of which, I trust AST and SCH as my co-healers far more than I do fellow WHM as it seems I’m always raising them. They don’t do party heals when raidwides are going out, waste their mana pre-pulling Medica II, or spam Holy on single-target, unstunnable bosses, smh. As a DPS or tank, though, I trust only AST and WHM. I’m fairly sure 50% of my SCH healers have been asleep at the wheel and Eos was driving.

- shout-out to that one paladin main-tanking Garuda Hard who started emote-slapping Garuda right before she went down. Thanks, man. You gave me a good laugh.

- before seriously settling down to level my crafters and gatherers, I never checked the market board prices before putting stuff up for sale bc I just wanted to clean out my inventory, so there were probably some very disgruntled omnicrafters out there who wanted to lynch me for underselling them

- #1 cause of death: fall damage with mobs aggro’d

--- (special mention to that time I jumped off the higher floating island at Camp Cloudtop, landed below with 1 HP, and was promptly pecked to death by a gastornis. I now kill those stupid birds whenever I see them to avenge my humiliation)

- I feel like there should be job-specific levequests where you go out and do things appropriate to your job, like killing a dragon as a dragoon (before Heavensward, anyway) or cleansing corrupted sprites as WHM or investigating contraband cargo as ACN, etc.

- on that note, I’m probably the only person alive who enjoys the CNJ/WHm quests. I genuinely felt like I was learning magic, and, later on in the 50 - 60 quests, like I was doing what a white mage should.

- players frequently dance while waiting on someone to finish cutscenes, return from AFK, etc. Usually, it’s the Hildibrand or some variant thereof. I... never dance. Except by accident. I just stand there with my arms folded, towering above the rest of the party and looking mildly disapproving.

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Six-Warrior Quests Area 7 Shinryu Quest

The Six-Warrior Quests Area 7 event just started in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game.

Six-Warrior Quests Area 7 Shinryu Quest Battle Information

In this quest, we can bring up to 6 chars instead of the usual 3. There’s a main party and a sub party.

Each char can equip 1 Call. Only 1 summon can be brought. Only 1 BT or BT+ phase can be used but multiple BT+ finishers can be activated.

During a char’s turn, you always have the option to switch them out for any member in the sub party.

This Shinryu quest has 1 wave with 2 enemies, the Dimensional Count Steam and the Dimensional Assault Dog. They have 230 million HP each.

For the entire fight, each char’s ATK, BRV damage dealt, HP damage dealt, and brave gains will be reduced by 80%.

Once the force gauge of the enemies hits 100%, the Dimensional Count Steam will trigger Steam Burst+. This deals AoE BRV + HP damage and inflicts the party with the Black Smoke framed debuff. Black Smoke deals HP poison and disables HP recovery effects.

The enemies will then enter 20 turns of force time with the following effects: both will automatically heal 100% of any HP damage they receive.

Once the battle starts, the Count Steam will trigger “Steam is building”. This will cause both enemies to restore their HP by 200k every turn. They will also become immune to turn deletes, break delays, and launches. Each char’s Ex gauge will not charge.

When the Count Steam drops down to 69% HP, he will trigger “Steam is building” again except the enemies will not be immune to launches this time.

When the Count Steam drops down to 29% HP, he will trigger “Steam is building” again and this time, both enemies will once again be immune to launches.

In order to dispel all of the above effects, the Count Steam must be delayed by 2 turns or more.

When the Dimensional Assault Dog drops down to 89%, 49%, and 19% HP, he will trigger “Fire dog”. This will cause both enemies to gain 100% debuff evasion, 100% physical (both ranged and melee) evasion, and 50% defense.

The Assault Dog needs to be launched in order to cancel the effects of “Fire dog”.

Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII

My Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII (#ad) is Level 90 and Crystal Level 90. His 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, FR, and BT are fully MLB. His Ex is at Ex+ 3/3 or Purple. His Burst weapon has been upgraded to BT+ 3/3 or Green.

Seph’s currently equipped with a Level 5 of 5 Greatsword Ultima Weapon. His High Armor’s been upgraded to Blue. All of his Summon Boards, Character Enhancement Boards, and Force Enhancements have been completed. He has his Bloom Stone.

Sephi has 3 Attack 108 with Max Brave 330 Artifacts and 3 Attack 108 with One-Winged Angel Boost★★ (Raises INT BRV, MAX BRV, ATK, DEF by 5% if HP is MAX at start of last wave) Artifacts.

Sephiroth is equipped with the following real A Spheres:

Edgar Roni Figaro’s (from Final Fantasy VI) Debuff Power

Increases BRV damage dealt by 10% while an enemy is debuffed

Cloud Strife’s (from Final Fantasy VII) Critical Power

Raises BRV damage dealt with critical hits by 10%

Vayne Carudas Solidor’s (from Final Fantasy XII) Broken Power

When attacking target afflicted with Break: • Increases BRV damage dealt by 10%

Also currently have 3 Green Crystal passives unlocked: Crystal Passive A5, Crystal Passive U1, and Crystal Passive A1. As a Green Crystal char, Sephiroth has access to these passives.

Sephiroth is a physical, non-elemental DPS. He can inflict enemies with a gold-framed debuff called Cellular Erosion. This debuff “increases BRV damage taken; effects certain amount of BRV damage”. Seph also lowers the speed of all the enemies via an aura.

Six-Warrior Quests Area 7 Banners Free First Multi-Draw Results

As part of some campaign or other, we get a free first multi-draw on both of the Six-Warrior Quests Area 7 banners.

Banner 2’s free pull gave me dupes of Shelke’s Ex, Arciela’s 35cp, and Raines’s 15cp. Meh.

Banner 1′s free pull gave me a dupe of Yda’s 15cp. Also meh.

Six-Warrior Quests Area 7 Free Multi-Draw Tickets Results

To my surprise, the 1st ticket actually gave me a Force orb. Nice.

This turned into my very first copy of Quistis’s FR. Hell, yes! Super pleased to see this.

For a moment, was worried that I was about to get a dupe of Raines’s FR. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case at all.

Aside from Quistis’s FR, this pull also gave me dupes of Quistis’s 15cp and Ex.

The 2nd ticket gave me dupes of Yda’s LD and Freya’s 15cp.

The 3rd ticket gave me 2 dupes of Quistis’s Ex.

Quistis Trepe from Final Fantasy VIII

Too bad I wasn’t able to get Quistis’s BT. Don’t want to gem it though, and actually not sure if I’ll bother to fully build her even if I do happen to get said Burst.

Anyway, there’s a time-limited mission that wants players to clear the Six-Warrior Quests Area 7 Shinryu quest with Quistis in the party.

So although my Quistis isn’t fully built and will remain that way for now, I opted to spend the High Power Stones needed to fully MLB her FR.

Also spent the points needed to unlock parts of her Force Board, particularly the tiles that would give me her FR extension passive and Force Echoes passive.

Six-Warrior Quests Area 7 Shinryu Quest

For this fight, my team was Sephiroth, Aranea Highwind from Final Fantasy XV, Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII, Quistis, and Garnet Til Alexandros XVII from Final Fantasy IX with Bahamut as my summon.

My Calls were Rydia’s from Final Fantasy IV, Prishe’s from Final Fantasy XI, Seymour Guado’s from Final Fantasy X, Raijin’s from Final Fantasy VIII, Lunafreya Nox Fleuret’s from Final Fantasy XV, and Keiss’s from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers.

Rydia’s LD Call gives chars a level-based buff that will let them evade 3 attacks. Prishe’s LD Call increases the damage output of its Caller. Keiss’s LD Call inflicts the enemies with a debuff that will battery the party based on HP damage dealt during launches.

Seymour’s Calls inflicts the enemies with multiple debuffs. His LD Call will also delay all the enemies by 2 turns as well as remove all of their buffs. Raijin’s LD Call inflicts the enemies with a debuff that will nullify all the HP damage they deal for 2 turns.

Lunafreya’s LD Call will enable its Caller to get 3 turns in a row. Chars to the right of the Caller will get 2 turns in a row while chars to the left will get a buff that boosts their damage.

My Aranea, Cid Raines, Aerith, and Garnet are as fully built as my Sephiroth. Raines is equipped with my Level 5 of 5 Fist Ultima Weapon while Aranea has my Level 2 of 5 Spear Ultima Weapon.

My Quistis has her 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, and FR fully MLB. Missing her BT. She has her High Armor, and it’s been Realized to 0/3. She has her Bloom Stone as well as triple RF Spheres and triple perfect Artifacts.

All of her Summon Boards have been completed. Unlocked parts of her LD Board, particularly the tiles that would give me her LD Call and LD extension passive. As aforementioned, also unlocked parts of her Force Board. She doesn’t have any of her Force Enhancements.

As soon as the fight started, the Count Steam triggered “Steam is building” so switched in Quistis to disable this. But before using her LD ability for the delay, had her use Lunafreya’s LD Call first.

Used Rydia’s LD Call and made sure Aranea and Raines got the buff from said Call. Used Keiss’s and Raijin’s LD Calls. Used Seymour’s regular Call and Prishe’s LD Call.

Had Aranea use one of her base skills then her BT+ finisher. Had Raines use his Additional Ability then his BT+ finisher. Had Sephiroth use his Additional Ability then his BT+ finisher.

Had Garnet use one of her base skills, her Additional Ability and then her BT+ finisher. Had Aerith spam her instant turn rate move to speed up the charging of my force gauge.

The force gauge of the enemies hit 100% first but their force attack dealt 0 damage thanks to Raijin’s LD Call.

When my force gauge was nearing 100%, had Aerith use her Additional Ability then her LD ability to end her turn.

By the time it was Sephiroth’s turn again, my force gauge was fully charged so had him activate his FR already.

After that, switched in Quistis right away so I can use her Force Echoes. This canceled the force time of the enemies.

Afterwards, just had the rest of my chars use their Force Echoes. Focused on the Assault Dog so I can trigger then get rid of “Fire dog” as soon as possible.

Raines is a magical DPS who can initiate launches with all of his moves so brought him in or waited for his turn whenever “Fire dog” was active.

While the effects of her BT+ are active, Aranea can also initiate launches with all of her moves, but she’s a physical DPS so she can’t remove the effects of “Fire Dog”.

The conditions for increasing the HP damage bonus of Sephiroth’s FR are as follows:

+40%whenever a char attacks a debuffed enemy on their own turn

+40% whenever a char takes a turn while level-based buff or special effect active

The buff from Rydia’s LD Call is level-based. So even if a char doesn’t have their own level-based buff or special effect, they can still increase the HP damage bonus of Sephiroth’s FR by 80% each turn as long as they have Rydia’s LD buff.

Aranea and Raines don’t have level-based buffs or special effects which was why I made sure that they got Rydia’s LD buff.

With everyone having access to their Force Echoes and with everyone being able to increase the HP damage bonus by at least 80% (using Echoes can increase the bonus by a lot depending on the Echo in question) each turn, it didn’t take long before I was able to get the HP damage bonus to 878%.

When that happened, still have 10 turns of force time left and the enemies were down to 50% and 80% HP. Force Echoes FTW! LOL.

Soon, the HP damage bonus was already at 999%. Since I was focusing on the Assault Dog, he was soon down to 15% HP. However, splash and AoE damage soon had the Count Steam dropping down to 61% HP. Now both bosses have their triggers or auras active.

It was now Garnet’s turn. Had her use one of her Force Echoes. This took the enemies down to 7% and 54% HP.

On Sephiroth’s turn, had him use Seymour’s LD Call to delay the Count Steam and disable his “Steam is building” aura. The enemies were now down to 5% and 48% HP.

Still need to launch the Assault Dog to get rid of his “Fire dog” aura but gonna need to wait for Raines’s turn to do that.

In the meanwhile, I decided to switch out Sephiroth and bring in Aerith. Thanks to the “Fire dog” aura, all melee and ranged attacks will miss which means I can’t use Sephiroth, Aranea, and Quistis for now unless I want their attacks to deal 0 damage.

Had Aerith use her BT+ finisher. This took the bosses down to 1% and 43% HP. Now it was finally Raines’s turn again.

Should have had him launch the Assault Dog to get rid of the “Fire dog” aura but instead I had him target the Count Steam. Now the Count Steam was back to having his aura.

The Assault Dog remained at 1% HP but it didn’t take long at all before he croaked it thanks to splash and AoE damage. There was also the damage from Garnet’s and Aerith’s special overhead buffs.

Since I didn’t get to launch the Assault Dog, the effects of “Fire dog” didn’t disappear even after he died. So now I can’t bring in my physical attackers and, thanks to the still active “Steam is building” aura of the Count Steam, can’t initiate launches either.

Thankfully, the fight was winding down already and I still have a few turns of force time left. With the HP damage bonus already at 999%, my chars continued dealing good damage.

It’s just too bad that Raines can’t initiate launches anymore and I can’t bring back Sephiroth and Aranea. Already used both of Quistis’s Force Echoes earlier so have no more reason to switch her back in since she’s not fully built.

Anyway, soon the Count Steam was at 14% HP. Have 4 more turns of force time left. Summoned Bahamut already. Bahamut’s on-entry attack took the last boss down to 5% HP.

It was now Garnet’s turn. Had her use her last Force Echo. This was more than enough to finish off the Count Steam, ending the battle on turn 18.

Got the score and all the other mission requirements. This fight wasn’t that bad. It was actually pretty easy although those auras or triggers were really annoying to deal with if they happened to be active at the same time.

Glad I was still able to get the win even though I ended up not launching the Assault Dog when I had the chance to do so.

Thoughts about Iris Amicitia from Final Fantasy XV

Been hearing lots of good things about Iris Amicitia from Final Fantasy XV, and I do like her well enough, I suppose, so it was always my plan to pull for her with gems.

She’s a really good support slash healer slash buffer. She has an instant turn rate move that can speed up the charging of the force gauge. She can deal pretty good damage too.

Have 3 multi-draw tickets that can be used on either of the Act 4, Chapter 2, Part 2: Sepia-Toned Memories banners. Decided to use all 3 of these tickets on banner 1.

The first ticket gave me a dupe of Cait Sith’s 35cp. Meh.

The second ticket also gave me a dupe of Cait Sith’s 35cp. Ugh. Bad pull is bad.

My next multi-draw only gave me a regular blue orb so wasn’t expecting much from this pull. Got yet another dupe of Fang’s 35cp.

But then, after Fang’s 35cp appeared, the animation changed and suddenly a Force weapon was showing up. To my surprise and relief, this turned out to be my very first copy of Iris’s FR and not a dupe of Tifa’s FR. Yay. Super pleased to see this.

Now I just need Iris’s BT and Ex then I can be done with this banner. Well, I need her 15cp too but I can just use my Weapon Tokens to exchange for a copy of said weapon.

And that’s it. Down to 1187070 gems, and I now have 400 G Tokens for this banner, the exact amount I need to exchange for Iris’s Burst weapon.

Ugh. So freaking annoyed that I ended up having to pity Iris’s BT. This is like the third Burst in a row that I had to pity.

Recently, also had to pity Cor Leonis’s (from Final Fantasy XV) BT and Rem Tokimiya’s (from Final Fantasy Type-0) BT too. I talk more about that in this post and this post.

At least Iris’s FR and the rest of her weapons all showed up on the way to pitying her BT but still. Wish I didn’t have to spend this much again for like the third time in a row.

I really hope I won’t end up having to pity the next Burst weapon that I want to get.

Although I still have lots of gems and tickets, it’s still frustrating and annoying to have to spend so much multiple times in a row. If something like that ends up happening often enough or even all the time, then I’m gonna quickly run out of resources.

Act 4, Chapter 2, Part 2: Sepia-Toned Memories Banner 1 G Token Exchange Shop

Anyway, went to the Act 4, Chapter 2, Part 2: Sepia-Toned Memories banner 1 G Token Exchange Shop.

Exchanged 400 of my G Tokens for 1 copy of Iris’s Burst weapon.

Now I finally have my first copy of Iris’s Burst.

Iris Amicitia from Final Fantasy XV

Leveled Iris to 90 and got her to Crystal Level 90. Completed all of her Force Enhancements, Summon Boards, and Character Enhancement Boards. Bought her Bloom Stone.

Bought and upgraded all of her armor, including her High Armor. Also spent the Book and 3 Ingots needed to Blue Iris’s High Armor.

Was able to fully MLB Iris’s 15cp, 35cp, and LD without having to use a single Power Stone.

Only got 1 copy of her Ex so had to spend 12 Power Stones to fully MLB it. Then I spent the Book and 3 Ingots needed to Purple it or get it to Ex+ 3/3.

Got a total of 3 copies of Iris’s FR so needed to use 4 more High Power Stones in order to fully MLB said weapon.

Then I spent the Book and 3 Ingots needed to Green Iris’s Burst weapon or get it to BT+ 3/3.

Now my Iris is nearly complete. Just need to farm for triple of her perfect Artifacts and equip her with 3 real Spheres.

The co-op that has Iris’s Artifacts isn’t available yet so farming for her Arts is gonna have to wait. Still thinking about what Spheres to equip to her so that’s gonna have to wait as well.

After thinking about it some more, decided to equip Iris with the following real Spheres:

Firion’s (from Final Fantasy II) HP Heal Boost Up Longer A Sphere

When recovering own HP: • Raises own MAX BRV by 10% for 6 turns

Rude’s (from Final Fantasy VII) HP Heal Boost All Shorter C Sphere

Beatrix’s (from Final Fantasy IX) Critical Boost All Longer D Sphere

After dealing critical hit: • Raises party's MAX BRV by 5% for 6 turns

Much later: the co-op event that has Iris’s Artifacts is finally here. Spent some time farming said co-op so now I also finally have triple of the best Artifacts for Iris.

Now my Iris is fully built and complete. Can’t wait to try her out in some endgame content.

Thoughts about Llyud from Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings

I like Llyud from Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings well enough but wouldn’t call him a fave or anything.

I did pull for him when he first debuted as a playable char in this game with his 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD weapons. Got to use him a few times too. Even completed all of his Boards and Realized his High Armor to 0/3.

Llyud is a support and healer with pretty decent buffs and auras. His main gimmick is being able to instantly charge the Ex abilities of his allies. He can deal decent enough damage too.

Now Llyud comes back to DFFOO with his own Force weapon. The force time effects of Llyud’s FR are as follows:

HP damage bonus +40% when party member takes turn while level-based buff or special effect active

HP damage bonus +20% when certain amount of HP restored at start of party member’s own turn or party member restores HP on party member’s own turn

Llyud’s FR isn’t meta but since he provides party-wide HP Regen, all chars will be able to increase his FR’s HP damage bonus by 20%.

There are also a lot of chars with level-based buffs and/or special effects. For instance, Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII (#ad) has 3 buffs (Jenova, Reunion, and Bringer of Despair) and all of them are level-based.

Currently, I always try to use Sephiroth in any and all endgame content that appears in DFFOO. He doesn’t have his own Force weapon yet though so I need to pair him with someone who does.

As such, am always on the lookout for upcoming Force weapons whose conditions for increasing the HP damage bonus are easy enough for Seph to fulfill.

The first time I saw the force time effects of Llyud’s FR, I thought this could be really good for Sephi. With this, Seph can increase the HP damage bonus by 60% each time he takes a turn. So I made plans to pull for Llyud’s FR.

Llyud’s FR vs Iroha’s FR vs Cor Leonis’s FR

However, the closer we got to the time wherein Llyud’s FR will finally show up in the game, I started having second thoughts. Do I really need Llyud’s FR?

I started thinking that maybe I could do without it since I already have a lot of FRs and there are more coming up that will be even better than Llyud’s and that I want to pull for.

One of the Force weapons that I have and that seems to be the most similar to Llyud’s in terms of being rather generic is the one that belongs to Iroha from Final Fantasy XI.

Kinen no Isshi, Iroha’s Force ability, has the following force time effects:

HP damage bonus +30% when individual HP at least 100% of max on party member’s own turn

HP damage bonus +20% when individual BRV at least 20% of max on party member’s own turn

Iroha’s similar to Llyud in that she’s also a support and healer with pretty good buffs and auras.

Her main claim to fame and what makes her different from other supports is that she allows everyone in the party to retain 20% of their brave in between each of their HP attacks.

With Iroha’s healing and BRV retain gimmick, any char should be able to easily increase the HP damage bonus of Iroha’s FR by 50% each turn.

Llyud’s FR is better in that it’s possible to increase the HP damage bonus by 60% each turn so my plan had been to skip Iroha’s FR and just wait for Llyud’s to show up.

Except when Iroha’s FR showed up, ended up pulling for it. I talk more about that in another post. Was able to get Iroha’s FR. Fully MLB’d it and got to use it a few times.

But I didn’t use Iroha for long. Dropped her as soon as I got other FRs even if the HP damage bonus from those other Force weapons wasn’t that high.

That’s because my Iroha isn’t fully built. She has all of her weapons fully MLB. All of her Summon Boards have been completed. She has her High Armor and it’s been Realized to 0/3.

But I didn’t get any of her Force Enhancements. Only unlocked parts of her Character Enhancement Boards, particularly the tiles that would give me her LD Call and LD extension passive. She has triple perfect Artifacts and one RF Sphere.

She still works well enough in this state but of course chars who were actually fully built were better so I opted to use those chars instead of Iroha.

Cor Leonis from Final Fantasy XV is one of the chars who I have fully built. Have his 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, and FR fully MLB. His High Armor’s been Blued.

All of his Boards and Force Enhancements have been completed. He has triple perfect Artifacts and triple RF Spheres. He even has a fully leveled Special or Unique-type Ultima Weapon.

At the moment, my FR of choice is Cor’s. The force time effects of Cor’s FR are as follows:

HP damage bonus +5% after party member’s additional attack triggered not on own turn

HP damage bonus +40% when party member deals at least 9999 BRV damage in 1 hit on party member’s own turn

Cor is a support slash DPS. He can deal pretty good damage but he can also support the party via his buffs and auras. He can battery the party and he even provides party-wide HP Regen.

His main gimmick is giving one of his allies a buff that links him to them. This causes him to attack and deal damage to the enemy right before the char he’s linked with gets to move.

Iroha’s FR may have a higher HP damage bonus per turn but my Cor is fully built unlike her so he deals more damage than her and is able to support the party more. Plus, that 5% can add up since Cor will be able to trigger this every time the ally he’s linked with (usually, I have him linked to Seph) moves.

Even if I get Llyud’s FR and decide to MLB it, I’m pretty sure that he’s just gonna end up like Iroha in that he won’t be fully built. This is especially because it takes a lot of resources to fully build a char.

Completing a char’s Force Enhancements and Char Boards takes lots of scarce resources so really need to be selective in who gets these upgrades.

I don’t think Llyud is gonna make the cut. I mean, sure, he’s pretty good but he’s not that good. And he’s not even a fave or anything. There are other upcoming chars who I want to pull for and who I’d prefer to fully build and max out.

My new plan was now to skip the Wings Graven with Emotion (Lost Chapter) banner. Well, other than doing the first free multi-draw we’re gonna get as part of the autumn campaign anyway.

Wings Graven with Emotion (Lost Chapter) Banner Free First Multi-Draw Results

As aforementioned, thanks to the currently-ongoing autumn campaign, our first multi-draw on the Wings Graven with Emotion (Lost Chapter) banner is free.

The free multi-draw gave me a gold orb, which turned into a dupe of Llyud’s LD. Meh. If I was gonna get a dupe LD, why couldn’t it have been Zell’s instead? Could have used it to limit break the copy I already have.

Reasons to Pull on the Wings Graven with Emotion (Lost Chapter) Banner

After doing the free first multi-draw on the Wings Graven with Emotion (Lost Chapter) banner, should have walked away already. Shoul be over and done with this banner.

It’s too bad that I missed out on Llyud’s FR but it’s not like I really need it or anything. But it’s not just Llyud’s FR or even Zell’s Ex that I’m missing. It’s also Tifa’s BT.

There’s another banner that features all of TIfa Lockhart’s weapons. Already have her 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD but was missing her FR and BT so I pulled on this banner with gems.

I talk more about the results of my pulls on that banner in another post but I was thankfully able to get Tifa’s FR without having to pity it. Unfortunately, her Burst didn’t show up in any of my pulls on said banner.

I like Tifa. She’s one of the chars that I want to fully build and max out. So of course that includes getting her Burst and Greening it.

But the thing is I don’t want to pull on her FR banner anymore because the only thing I’m missing there is her BT. My plan is to just use my Burst Tokens to exchange for 1 copy of Tifa’s BT.

Couldn’t do that yet though because there are 2 more banners that will feature Tifa’s BT and that will come with a free first multi-draw. So I want to do the free pull on those banners first before exchanging my Tokens for Tifa’s Burst.

The chances may be minuscule but it’s still possible for Tifa’s BT to show up on one of these free draws. Don’t want to risk spending my Tokens only to end up getting TIfa’s BT for free later on.

Anyway, one of the banners that have Tifa’s BT is the Wings Graven with Emotion (Lost Chapter) banner. Now I just need to wait for the last banner that will feature Tifa’s BT to get to the game.

Just need to wait for a few days but this feels like an eternity. Want to have Tifa’s BT already. So I decided to toss a few tickets on the Llyud FR banner in the hopes of getting lucky and being able to get Tifa’s Burst already.

Wings Graven with Emotion (Lost Chapter) Banner Tickets Pulls Results

Currently have 480 tickets on hand.

The Wings Graven with Emotion (Lost Chapter) banner gave me the usual bronze and silver trash and a few gold dupes. Even got 10-draws that didn’t give me a single gold weapon.

Zell’s kinda outdated and powercrept by now. He doesn’t even have his own Force weapon yet so have no plans of using him for any endgament content.

Super pleased to see this purple orb. Also super pleased to have gotten my very first copy of Llyud’s FR.

Not sure if I’ll actually bother to spend the resources needed to MLB this but it’s still great to have been able to acquire this anyway. At least I have it in case I need it.

This 10-draw only gave me Llyud’s FR.

Still have 340 tickets left when Llyud’s FR appeared.

It’s really too bad that Tifa’s Burst didn’t show up but since I already have everything else on this banner, can’t really justify continuing to toss tickets here. Should just wait until I can finally Token Tifa’s BT. It’s only a few more days. Just need to be patient. I can do this. Wish me luck. LOL.

Update: ended up not bothering to max out Llyud and his FR. Really don’t need him right now.

Also, I talk more about this in another post but I was finally able to get Tifa’s Burst. Super happy to say that my Tifa is now fully built and maxed out. Even made her a Level 5 of 5 Fist-type Ultima Weapon.

Cissnei from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (#ad) is the newest char to become playable in Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia so have nothing for her.

Act 3, Chapter 7, Part 2: The Planet & The Hero Banner 1 Free First Multi-Draw Results

As part of tthe May Faire Campaign, we get a free first multi-draw on this banner.

Unfortunately, the results of my free pull were really bad. All I got was a dupe of Lion’s 35cp. Meh.

Cissnei from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Info

Cissnei is primarily a DPS but she does have some party-wide auras. She’s not really much of a support though. Her claim to fame is being able to do a follow-up attack every time a char uses a damaging attack.

If she has the maximum number of stacks of her overhead buff, this follow-up attack will deal really good damage. The catch is that this buff will tick down by 1 every time she moves.

If she uses her LD, she’ll be able to get this buff that will keep the stacks of her overhead buff from going down. The catch with this one is that this buff only lasts for 1 turn and it can’t be extended.

To maximize Cissnei’s damage output, it’s best to run her with chars who can hog turns. Her base skills don’t deal that much damage, and her follow-ups aren’t that impressive if her overhead buff isn’t at max stacks so it’s best if she doesn’t move at all once you finish setting her up.

Was kinda interested in Cissnei. After all, she’s from Final Fantasy VII. But couldn’t really justify pulling for her with gems since I don’t feel like I need her anyway.

Freya Crescent from Final Fantasy IX vs Cissnei from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

I recently just got Freya Crescent from Final Fantasy IX. Actually decided to fully max her out, including upgrading her High Armor to Blue. Freya is similar to Cissnei in that they both do follow-up attacks.

Freya offers more support to the party though. She has pretty good buffs and auras. She can even heal and battery. 

Maybe her damage may not be as good as Cissnei’s but it’s not bad at all, especially considering all the other things she offers to the party unlike Cissnei who mostly just deals damage.

Freya even has ways of evading attacks when you use her special jump move. This causes her to fly up into the air and delay herself. She’ll then do her follow-up attack every time a char moves until her next turn whereupon she’ll land back to the ground and do another attack.

Kain Highwind from Final Fantasy IV vs Cissnei from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

I’m also planning to pull for Kain Highwind from Final Fantasy IV. He’s coming really soon.

He also does follow-up attacks like Freya and Cissnei. He’ll be better than both of them because he’ll come with a Burst weapon. 

When fully maxed out with a BT+ 3/3 and Blue armor, he’ll be able to deal really good damage while also providing some buffs and auras via his BT+ effect.

Have heard lots of good things about Kain so am seriously considering pulling on his banner with gems. Also seriously thinking about getting his Burst weapon and Greening it.

Nothing’s set in stone yet, but even without Kain, I do still have Freya so I don’t really need Cissnei. 

Reason to Pull for Cissnei from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

And so my plan was to just skip the Act 3, Chapter 7, Part 2: The Planet & The Hero banner 1. I was better off saving my resources for future banners.

For a while, I was able to just ignore the aforementioned banner. Then I started playing through the Act 3, Chapter 7, Part 2: The Planet & The Hero story where Cissnei and lots of other Final Fantasy VII chars shows up.

This kinda made me feel like pulling for Cissnei. Been seeing players use her in co-op too and she does seem pretty good. I mean, I know she’s boosted in the co-op quest that came with the The Planet & The Hero chapter but still.

Then there was the fact that I keep hearing about how hard the Lufenia+ (level 250; currently the hardest kind of fight in DFFOO) quest that came with the The Planet & The Hero chapter was.

Having Cissnei should make that fight easier, especially because she can help increase the count of the Lufenia orb on said quest. But there are ways to get through this fight without Cissnei. 

I’ve even seen some clears using Freya as a way to deal with the Lufenia orb in place of Cissnei so I know it’s possible. 

Am actually planning to use Freya for that fight alongside Zack Fair from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII. The third char might be Garnet Til Alexandros XVII from Final Fantasy IX or maybe I’ll just go with Lenna Charlotte Tycoon from Final Fantasy V.

My Zack and Garnet are both fully built with BT+ 3/3 and Blue armor. They’ve got perfect Artifacts, triple real Spheres, and all of their Boards have been completed. My Zack even has a Level 5/5 Greatsword Ultima Weapon.

Lenna doesn’t have a BT but she does offer party-wide 100% immunity to debuffs which will really help with this Lufenia+ quest because the boss has the chance to inflict chars with the blind and/or paralyze debuffs.

Safer Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII

Speaking of the boss of the Act 3, Chapter 7, Part 2: The Planet & The Hero story, it’s actually Safer Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII.

Aside from the debuffs and the Lufenia+ orb, this fight has lots of other annoying gimmicks and things to watch out for. For instance, Safer Sephiroth is immune to launches and turn delays and deletes. 

Once he drops down to 79% HP, he'll also become immune to being delayed via break since his brave will no longer be able to drop below 1% of his max brave which will thus make it impossible to break him.

Anyway, the point was that even though the Safer Sephiroth fight seems kinda hard, I was pretty sure I’d be able to handle it with Freya and Zack and whoever I decide to be my third char. Which brings us back to how I don’t need Cissnei at all.

The thing is though - aside from Zack, I also want to take on the Safer Sephiroth fight using Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII.

I talk more about this in other posts, but I’ve been using Sephiroth for Lufenia quests (level 200) basically ever since I got his LD and BT even back when he wasn’t that good at all.

When the Lufenia+ era started, I continued to use him and, thankfully, I’ve been able to successfully use Sephiroth through all these fights. If I’m remembering correctly, haven’t missed a fight, and I don’t want to start now.

Sephiroth’s horribly outdated by now though so it’s a bit of a struggle trying to run him through all these Lufenia+ quests. There were some that were pretty easy but not all of them are like that.

The Safer Sephiroth fight is clearly not one of the easy ones. To make matters worse, you also need to clear the fight within 40 turns. 

So I wasn’t sure if it’d be possible to get a win with a team of Zack, Freya, and Sephiroth. Couldn’t try the quest yet since I still need to finish going through the The Planet & Thee Hero story chapter in order to unlock the Safer Sephiroth fight.

But this got me wondering if having Cissnei would make things more - doable? Possible? Maybe with Cissnei, it’d be easier to run Sephi through the Safer Sephiroth Lufenia+ quest.

Act 3, Chapter 7, Part 2: The Planet & The Hero Banner 1 Tickets Pulls Results

That’s how I found myself going back to the Act 3, Chapter 7, Part 2: The Planet & The Hero banner 1. Still couldn’t justify using gems though so decided to just go with tickets and hope for the best.

Looks like I forgot to take note of how many tickets I have left before pulling on this banner but, if I’m not mistaken, it should be around 300+ or so.

Anyway, so I started tossing tickets on this banner. Got the usual bronze and silver trash with the occasional gold dupe.

A bit later on, a gold orb showed up. This gave me 3 golds, one of which was -

My very first copy of Cissnei’s Ex weapon! Hell, yes! Super pleased to see this.

The other 2 golds I got was a dupe of Y’shtola’s 35cp and, AFAIK, my first copy of Cissnei’s 15cp.

Still have 337 tickets left when Cissnei’s Ex weapon appeared.

A few more 10-pulls later, got a gold orb which gave me my very first copy of Cissnei’s LD. Hell, yes! So pleased to see this.

Still have 317 tickets left when Cissnei’s LD showed up. Glad she didn’t take all my tickets.

Don’t have a copy of Cissnei’s 35cp yet and still missing Snow’s BT but it’s fine. I’m done with this banner.

Cissnei from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

Spent the Tokens needed to buy 4 copies of Cissnei’s 35cp from the weapon token shop. Used the extra copies to fully MLB and max out her 35cp.

Then I spent the Power Stones needed to fully MLB and max out her 15cp, Ex, and LD. Spent the Book and Ingots needed to Purple her Ex or upgrade it to Ex+ 3/3.

Bought Cissnei’s High Armor and Bloom Stone. Completed all of her Summon Boards. Unlocked parts of her Character Enhancement Boards, particularly the tiles that would give me her LD Call and LD extension passive.

Equipped her with 3 RF Spheres - Yang Fang Leiden’s (from Final Fantasy IV), Gau’s (from Final Fantasy VI), and Sazh Katzroy’s (from Final Fantasy XIII).

Farmed for triple of her perfect Artifacts - 3 ATK 108 with Turks' Throwing Star Up★★.

Been trying Cissnei out in fights and she does seem pretty good. Still haven’t unlocked the Safer Sephiroth fight so can’t try her there yet but it does seem like she’ll really be able to make that fight easier. 

Looking forward to running both Zack and Sephiroth through that fight and having them beat Safer Sephiroth. 

And, after seeing Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children going against Sephiroth in the Act 3, Chapter 7, Part 2: The Planet & The Hero story, I now also feel like doing a Kadaj run of the Safer Sephiroth fight. We’ll see, I guess. LOL.

Deuce from Final Fantasy Type-0

I like Deuce from Final Fantasy Type-0 well enough though wouldn't call her a fave or anything.

Have Deuce's 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD fully MLB. Her Ex has been Purpled or upgraded to Ex+ 3/3. All her Summon Boards have been completed and she has her Bloom Stone.

Deuce has 3 MAX BRV 330 with Unremitting Earnesty Boost★★ (Raises party's INT BRV, ATK by 5% while HP is at least 50% of MAX) Artifacts.

She also has 3 ATK 108 with Unremitting Earnesty Boost★★ Artifacts and 1 INT BRV 170 with Unremitting Earnesty Boost★★ Artifacts.

Can't remember for sure now if I got her High Armor, or if I completed all of her Character Enhancement Boards. Maybe I only unlocked parts of her Char Boards, particularly the tiles that would give me her LD Call and LD extension passives.

It's been a long, long time since I last used Deuce. It's also been a long, long time since she last got an update and rework.

When I heard that she finally got her own Force and Burst weapons as well as a much-needed rework in the Japanese version of Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia, resolved to pull for said weapons once they became available in the English or Global version of the game since I do like her.

It also helped that apparently, Deuce becomes a really good support and buffer after her rework and with her new weapons.

A bit later on - can't remember the exact details now but IIRC, we got this event. I think it was a Heretic or lockout-style event. Either I needed to use Deuce in one of the fights in said event, or maybe I just thought about bringing her.

Either way, I ended up bringing Deuce to said fight. IIRC, it was a Shinryu or level 300 quest. Since I was bringing Deuce to such a hard fight, and since I was planning to max her out in the future, decided I might as well complete her as much as I possibly could now. This should help make it easier to bring her to a Shinryu quest in her current state.

So if I hadn't done it yet, got Deuce's High Armor then spent the Book and Ingots needed to Blue it.

Also completed all of her Char Boards, assuming I haven't done most of them yet.

Then I also equipped Deuce with the following real Spheres:

Alphinaud Leveilleur's (from Final Fantasy XIV) Buff Success Base Attack All Shorter C Sphere

After granting buff: Raises party's INT BRV, ATK by 5% for 3 turns

Maria's (from Final Fantasy II) HP Heal Base Attack All Shorter C Sphere

After recovering HP: Raises party's INT BRV, ATK by 5% for 3 turns

Hope Estheim's (from Final Fantasy XIII) Buff Success Attack Boost All Shorter D Sphere

After granting buff: Raises party's MAX BRV, ATK by 5% for 3 turns *Does not stack with same sphere

So she's basically complete now until her rework and the banner with her Force and Burst weapons gets here.

To my complete and utter surprise, my free first multi-draw on the World of Illusions Spiritus: Alexander banner 2 actually gave me a Force orb.

Hell, yes! This turned into a dupe of either Sabin's or Aphmau's 15cp and -

My very first copy of Deuce's Force weapon.

Hell, yes! Super pleased to see this. Now I just need her Burst weapon.

The 1st ticket actually gave me a Force orb. Nice. Ended up with dupes of Amidatelion's 15cp and Ex as well as Deuce's 15cp.

Also got my very first copy of Vivi's FR. Yay.

Now all I need from this banner is Deuce's Burst weapon. Hopefully, it shows up soon.

World of Illusions Spiritus: Alexander Banner 1 Multi-Draws Pulls Results

Currently have 1246910 gems on hand. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get Deuce’s BT without having to pity it. And wouldn't mind getting more dupes of Deuce's and Vivi's FRs for limit-breaking purposes.

The results of my next multi-draw were really surprising, to say the least.

First, I got 2 dupes of Deuce's 35cp after the usual bronze and silver trash.

After that, the animation seemed to stall as the background changed to a sort-of purple and then dupes of Vivi's and Deuce's Force weapons showed up.

As if that wasn't enough, the background changed again and then - seemingly all of a sudden, Deuce's Burst weapon showed up as well.

Hell, yes! Super pleased to see this. So glad I didn't have to pity Deuce's BT.

Was at 200 G Tokens when Deuce's BT showed up. Now down to 1216910 gems.

World of Illusions Spiritus: Alexander Banner 1 G Token Exchange Shop

Went to the World of Illusions Spiritus: Alexander banner 1 G Token Exchange shop.

As mentioned, currently have 200 G Tokens. Used all of these to exchange for 2 Book of Ruin's Mysteries.

Deuce from Final Fantasy Type-0

Afterwards, used the dupe Deuce FR I got plus 8 High Power Stones to fully MLB my 1st copy of Deuce's FR.

Then I spent the Book and 3 Ingots needed to Green Deuce's Burst weapon or get it to BT+ 3/3.

After that, spent the points needed to max out Deuce’s Force Enhancements from Level 30 to Level 50. Completed the Character Enhancement Boards for her Force weapon as well.

Now my Deuce is fully complete and maxed out.

Have a Level 5 of 5 Special Ultima Weapon so equipped Deuce with that as well.

Can’t wait to try her out on some endgame content.

I like Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children well enough which is why mine is as fully built and maxed out as he can possibly be.

Currently, have his 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD fully MLB. His Ex has been Purpled or upgraded to Ex+ 3/3. He has his High Armor and it's been Blued.

All of his Summon Boards, Character Enhancement Boards, and Force Enhancements have been completed. He has his Bloom Stone. He's at Level 90 and Crystal Level 90.

Kadaj has 3 ATK 108 with Remnant Up★★ (While Latent Thoughts active: Raises own MAX BRV, ATK by 5%) Artifacts.

Kadaj is equipped with the following real Spheres:

Garland’s (from Final Fantasy I) Break Hit Raging Attack Up A Sphere

Raises ATK by 2% when inflicting Break or attacking target afflicted with Break up to 5 times, once per turn

Oerba Yun Fang’s (from Final Fantasy XIII) Break Hit Attack Up Longer A Sphere

Raises ATK by 10% for 6 turns when inflicting Break or attacking target afflicted with Break

The Emperor’s (from Final Fantasy II) Debuff Success Attack Up Longer E Sphere

So it was always my plan to pull for Kadaj's Force and Burst weapons whenever said items finally showed up in the game.

I like the animation of Kadaj's Burst since it featues Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII.

Not at all fond of the animation for his Force weapon though. Kadaj's FR partner is Xande from Final Fantasy III, and I really wish that wasn't the case at all since don't really like Xande all that much.

Ah, well. At least Kadaj's new weapons and latest upgrade make him really good.

It's been a long while since I last got to use Kadaj so looking forward to once again being able to use him, especially in some endgame content.

Hell, yes! Was really pleased to see this. Really so glad that Kadaj's Burst weapon eventually showed up and that I didn't end up having to pity it after all.

Had a total of 320 G Tokens by the time Kadaj's BT came home so I very nearly had to pity said weapon anyway.

This multi-draw only gave me Kadaj's BT but that's fine. Still don't have Leo's FR but that's fine too. Done with this banner now.

Imagining the Future Intersecting Wills Banner 1 G Token Exchange Shop

Went to the Imagining the Future Intersecting Wills banner 1 G Token Exchange shop.

As mentioned, currently have a total of 320 G Tokens. It costs 400 G Tokens to exchange for a Burst weapon while it only costs 300 G Tokens to exchange for a Force weapon.

Since I'm still missing a copy of Leo's FR and since I have more than enough Tokens to get it, readily exchanged 300 of my G Tokens for my 1st copy of Leo's Force weapon.

Now I have 20 G Tokens left but can't do anything with these anymore since the cheapest item in the Shop costs 100 Tokens.

Anyway, after that, I started maxing out Kadaj but gonna have to talk about that in another post since this one is already nearing the max limit of 30 pics.

Thoughts about Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII

My thoughts about Cloud are - complicated. I mean, sometimes I like him and sometimes I hate him. Will talk more about that in another post but for now, I think the state I currently have him in says it all.

I remember using Cloud a lot what feels like a long, long time ago. Have his 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD fully MLB. Oh, right, Cloud has like 2 or 3 more weapons. Also have them all fully MLB already.

Completed all of Cloud's Summon Boards and the Character Enhancement Boards for his 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD.

Got his Bloom Stone. Took the time to farm for triple of his perfect Artifacts. Even gave him triple real Spheres and bought his High Armor.

I also remember that I ended up pitying his Burst weapon when it first showed up in the English or Global version of Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia.

But when it became possible to upgrade Cloud’s BT and High Armor, I opted not to. Leveled up his Burst to the max but didn’t even bother to Realize it to BT+ 0/3. I did Realize his High Armor to 0/3 but didn’t bother to go all the way to Blueing it.

Now that Cloud’s FR is here and he just got another rework and update, I found myself wondering if I should pull for said weapon or not.

Cloud is pretty good. He’s a DPS with lots of utility in his kit such as being able to paralyze and launch enemies. He can even delay them and dispel their buffs. His damage output may not be the best but his utility more than makes up for that.

Plus his FR is also pretty good and the conditions to increase its HP damage bonus aren’t that hard to fulfill.

So to pull or not to pull? Still not sure so gonna have to think about this some more.

Dimensions’ End: Transcendence Reprise Banner Free First Multi-Draw Results

As part of the campaign that came with the Dimensions’ End events, we get free first multi-draws on multiple banners.

The free first multi-draw on the Dimensions’ End: Transcendence Reprise banner gave me dupes of Edgar’s 35cp, Cloud’s 15cp, and Cloud’s 35cp. Meh.

Start-Dash Draw Banner Free First Multi-Draw Results

The Start-Dash Draw banner was updated alongside the arrival of the Dimensions’ End banners and events. So we also get a free first multi-draw on this banner.

To my surprise, my free pull on the Start-Dash Draw banner actually gave me a Force orb. Yes!

Was really hoping to get my first copy of Cloud’s FR but unfortunately, ended up with a dupe of Lightning’s FR instead. Sigh.

This pull also gave me dupes of Squall’s 15cp and Lightning’s 15cp.

Dimensions’ End: Transcendence Reprise Banner and Start-Dash Draw Banner Tickets Pulls Results

After getting Setzer’s FR and BT (I talk more about that in another post), once again found myself wondering what to do about Cloud. Should I pull for his FR? Should I fully build him or not?

Well, still not sure if I’ll fully build him but after thinking about it some more, decided to try and get his FR with tickets. Even if I end up not fully building him, it’d still be nice to have his FR in case I need it or something.

So I started tossing tickets on the Dimensions’ End: Transcendence Reprise banner and the Start-Dash Draw banner.

IIRC, had around 200+ tickets when I started pulling and even ended up exchanging all my Daily Hunt Tokens for more tickets. Can’t remember the exact amount of tickets I used now but it was maybe around 300 or thereabouts.

Already have everything on both banners except for Cloud’s FR so just started interchanging between both banners. I’d do one 10-draw on one banner then switch to the other and then back again.

Got the usual bronze and silver trash as well as a few gold dupes and even 10-draws that didn't have even a single gold. Didn’t take a lot of screenshots though.

Was pleased to get dupes of Cloud’s and Edgar’s Ex weapons since these give good Spheres. IIRC, I got like one or two dupes of these weapons.

A bit later on, got a Force orb. Was really hoping to get Cloud’s FR already but unfortunately, ended up with a dupe of Edgar’s FR instead.

Then, after a few more 10-draws, got another Force orb.

Thankfully, this time, this turned into my very first copy of Cloud’s FR.

Hell, yes! Super pleased to see this. And really glad I didn’t have to spend that much to get this weapon.

Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII

I'm happy that I was able to get Cloud's FR but I still wasn't sure if I wanted to fully build him or not. I keep thinking, okay, let's do this, but then I always seem to end up hesitating then changing my mind at the last minute. Been going back and forth and debating with myself about this but still can't seem to make up my mind.

After thinking about it for a few days, finally made up my mind. Decided to go ahead and max out Cloud. The following reasons helped to sway me to go for it:

-It's not like I absolutely loathe Cloud or anything. These days, I just seem to fluctuate between liking him and not liking him. Like I said, it's complicated. LOL.

-I already have Cloud mostly built already so going all the way wouldn't take a lot of my resources.

-Speaking of resources, since I've been pretty stingy when it comes to who to fully build, I do have a few to spare so I can afford to max out Cloud and still have some for the other chars who I want to complete.

-Cloud may not be the best DPS in the game but he does deal pretty good damage while also providing useful things like delaying and paralyzing enemies.

-Lately, we’ve been having events where chars get locked out once you use them on a single stage, or where you can only use chars that are of a certain Crystal Color and/or weapon type so it’s good to have as many fully built chars as possible.

-We also just got this new weekly event called Crystal Quests. This comes with a new feature called the Crystal Room.

Basically, you take on these Crystal Quests to earn points and get passives and stats for your chars. To get these points, you need to form a team of chars that are all of the same Crystal Color. The points you get will then be for that same Crystal Color.

So for example, if you build a team of Green Crystal chars, you'll get points to unlock the stats and passives of the Green Chamber in the Crystal Room.

Currently, been doing the weekly Crystal Quests with Green Crystal chars mostly because of Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII. Will talk more about that in another post.

But anyway, as a Blue Crystal char, Cloud can't benefit from the Green Crystal stats and passives that I've unlocked so far. However, recently, been thinking about either switching to building the Blue Chamber or building Blue Crystal chars next once I'm done with the Green Chamber.

Don't know for sure if I will switch to Blue even if I'm not fully done with Green yet. Initially, I thought for sure that I'd fully finish the Green Chamber first before thinking about what Color to build next.

But what got me thinking about possibly switching to Blue is the fact that Weiss the Immaculate from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII is coming really soon to Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia. He'll be the latest playable char to be added to the game. And the banner featuring all of his weapons is coming really soon.

At the moment, it seems like Weiss will be the closest I'll get to having Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII in DFFOO, at least until they actually and finally add him to this game.

Currently, Genesis Rhapsodos is my absolute, most fave Final Fantasy char. Been waiting and hoping for what feels like forever for him to finally be added as a playable char here in DFFOO but sadly, that has yet to happen. So for now, will just have to make do with Weiss and other FF7 chars.

Anyway, the point is that, if I do switch to Blue, then it'd be great to have Cloud as another Blue Crystal char I can use to help me clear the weekly Crystal Quests.

Besides, whether I switch to Blue or finish Green then move to Blue next, the fact remains that players will eventually get 'round to getting all the stats and passives for all the Crystal Colors. So it's really just a matter of deciding which Color to focus on first.

-The Dimensions’ End: Transcendence Reprise event features a lockout mechanic but this only applies to non-boosted chars. So you're free to use any of the boosted chars for all the quests in this event but non-boosted chars can only be used once.

Cloud is one of the boosted chars here so I can use him as much as I want to. This'll give me more options like being able to save my best chars for the hardest fights in this event.

-It's been a long time since I last used Cloud, especially since I didn't bother to Green his Burst and Blue his High Armor before. So it'd be nice to get to use him now. This will also give me another char who I can use for endgame content and such instead of gravitating towards or using the same chars over and over again.

So anyway, after making up my mind, spent the High Power Stones needed to fully MLB Cloud's Force weapon. Completed his Force Board, Force Echoes, and Force Enhancements.

Then I spent the Book and 3 Ingots needed to Green his Burst weapon or get it to BT+ 3/3.

Also spent the 3 Ingots needed to Blue his High Armor.

Now my Cloud is fully built and complete. Looking forward to trying him out in some endgame content.

Thoughts about Setzer Gabbiani from Final Fantasy VI

Was planning to pull for Setzer to make it easier to clear the Dimensions' End: Transcendence Final Tier or Tier 16 Shinryu (level 300) quest.

Plus, I do like him well enough, and he's already partially built, so I thought I might as well go ahead and fully complete him. Besides, he is a pretty good support slash buffer.

And lately, we've been having events where chars get locked out once you use them on a single stage, or where you can only use chars that are of a certain Crystal Color and/or weapon type so it's good to have as many fully built chars as possible.

Currently, have Setzer's 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD fully MLB. He has his High Armor and it's been Realized to 0/3. He has his Bloom Stone as well as triple Artifacts and triple RF Spheres.

All of his Summon Boards as well as the Char Boards for his 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD have been completed. He doesn't have any of his Force Enhancements.

My second multi-draw gave me a Force orb. Once again, was hoping for Setzer's FR to show up already.

Thankfully, that was exactly what happened this time. Yup, that's right, just got my very first copy of Setzer's FR.

Hell, yes! Super pleased to see this. Now I just need his BT then I can be done with this banner.

Aside from Setzer's FR, this pull also gave me dupes of Setzer's 15cp, King's 35cp, and 2 copies of Guy's LD.

I thought I was all set to get trash again on my next multi-draw, and it did seem that way since a lot of bronze and silver weapons showed up followed by yet another dupe of Setzer's 15cp.

But after that, to my surprise, the animation suddenly changed and then Setzer's Burst weapon was showing up.

Hell, yes! Super pleased to see this. So glad I didn't have to pity Setzer's BT. And now that I have both his FR and BT, I can be done with this banner.

Down to 1229360 gems and currently have 220 G Tokens for this banner.

Went to the Dimensions’ End: Transcendence Final Tier banner 1 G Token Exchange shop.

Was trying to decide if I should get 2 Book of Ruin's Mysteries (used to Realize Ex weapons to Ex+ 0/3) for 100 G Tokens each or get 4 High Power Stones (used to limit break Force weapons) for 200 G Tokens when I noticed that the image of King's LD weapon doesn't have a check mark.

I thought this was because I haven't fully MLB'd my copy of this weapon yet but when I went to check my King and his weapons, found out that I don't have even a single copy of his LD. LOL.

It's been a really long time since I last used King since he's horribly outdated by now. Don't even have him fully built with all his Boards and such so I guess it's not surprising that I totally forgot that I don't have all of his weapons yet. Heck, pretty sure that I only Purpled his Ex because I wanted the Sphere it gives.

Anyway, it costs 200 G Tokens to exchange for 1 copy of King's LD. Still don't have any plans to use King anytime soon since he's still outdated, and he doesn't even have his own Force and Burst weapons yet.

But I thought that I might as well get his LD weapon now that I have the chance to do so.

Setzer Gabbiani from Final Fantasy VI

After getting Setzer's Force and Burst weapons, completed his Force Enhancements. Spent the High Power Stones needed to fully MLB his FR then completed his Force Board and Force Echoes.

Spent the Book and 3 Ingots needed to Green his Burst weapon or get it to BT+ 3/3.

Spent the 3 Ingots needed to Blue his High Armor.

Also equipped him with 3 real Spheres.

Now my Setzer is fully built and completed. Looking forward to trying him out on some endgame content.

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia 5th Anniversary Draw Banner

As part of the celebrations of the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game’s 5th Anniversary, the 5th Anniversary Draw banner just showed up.

This banner features the 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, and Force or FR weapons of all the chars that have been released in the game up through January 25, 2023.

According to the in-game notice:

During the campaign period, a free 10+1 multi-draw will be available daily from this 5th Anniversary Draw! Players can draw up to 330 free draws!

You can get G-Tokens each time you pull on this banner but you can’t pity any of the weapons here.

Since this banner includes so many weapons, the chances of getting something good here are pretty slim. This is especially so since I already have a lot of the weapons featured here due to pulling on their debut banners.

Plus, I have been playing this game for a long time already. We also get lots of free first multi-draws on various banners for one reason or another. And I tend to toss tickets on lots of different banners since we always get a lot of them.

Anyway, the point is that while it’d be nice to get new weapons from this banner, it’s unlikely to happen. Still, hoping to be able to get something new. And if I get a dupe, I’m hoping it’s for a weapon that I have yet to fully max limit break.

5th Anniversary Draw Banner Daily Free Multi-Draws Results

Here are the results of my daily free multi-draws on the 5th Anniversary special draw banner:

2/11 - dupes of Oerba Dia Vanille’s (from Final Fantasy XIII) 35cp and Ignis Scientia’s (from Final Fantasy XV) 15cp

Meh. Looks like we’re off to a bad start. Hopefully the next day’s free draw will be much better than this.

My second free multi-draw gave me a gold orb.

Ended up with a dupe of Firion’s (from Final Fantasy II) 15cp, a dupe of the Emperor’s (from Final Fantasy II) Ex, and my very first copy of Leon’s (from Final Fantasy II) Ex.

Leon’s Ex weapon is one of the few that I’m still missing so really pleased to finally get my first copy after what feels like forever. It feels like my Leon’s been equipped with his fully MLB 35cp for a long time already.

Now, at long last, I can finally sell said 35cp and equip him with his Ex. Too bad I’m also still missing his LD.

Also, found it interesting that this free draw only gave me weapons for Final Fantasy 2 chars. LOL.

My next free pull gave me a gold orb which turned into dupes of Arciela V. Adoulin’s (from Final Fantasy XI) 15cp and Cloud Strife’s (from Final Fantasy VII (#ad)) Ex. Meh.

Ah, well. At least Cloud’s Ex gives a good A Sphere called Critical Power. This Sphere “raises BRV damage dealt with critical hits by 10%”.

To my surprise, my next free multi-draw actually gave me a force orb. Hell, yes!

Was hoping to get something new but instead, I ended up with Ursula’s (from Final Fantasy IV) FR.

Already have a copy of this. But the good news is that copy hasn’t been fully limit broken at all so this dupe isn’t entirely useless.

Aside from the dupe of Ursula’s FR, this draw also gave me a dupe of Firion’s Ex.

Although I ended up with a dupe, was still really pleased to get a Force weapon. Here’s to hoping I can get more from these free draws.

Was so disappointed by the results of this crappy pull that I didn’t even bother to check who owns the 15cp dupes that I just got. It doesn’t matter anyway since they’re nothing more than dupes.

My next free pull actually gave me a force orb. Was really pleased to see that, especially after getting so many dupes. Was really hoping to get something new this time.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be. Once again, I ended up with a dupe of Ursula’s FR. Still haven’t fully MLB this weapon but still. Would have preferred to get a different FR.

Aside from the dupe of Ursula’s FR, this free pull also gave me dupes of Onion Knight’s (from Final Fantasy III) 35cp and Keiss’s (from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers) Ex.

My next free pull gave me a gold orb which turned into a dupe of Serah’s LD. Meh.

Another free pull gave me nothing more than yet another dupe 15cp. Also meh.

Another free draw gave me dupes of 2 different 15cps and 1 dupe of Penelo’s (from Final Fantasy XII) 35cp.

Another free draw gave me a dupe of Ace’s (from Final Fantasy Type-0) 15cp.

Another free pull gave me a gold orb which turned into dupes of Alisaie Leveilleur’s (from Final Fantasy XIV) Ex and Braska’s (from Final Fantasy X) 15cp. At least my copy of Braska’s 15cp hasn’t been fully limit broken yet.

Only got a regular blue orb from my next free multi-draw so was expecting to get trash as usual. Was surprised when I got an Ex weapon. Too bad it was a dupe. This one belongs to Jack from Final Fantasy Type-0.

Aside from that though, much to my surprise, I also got a Force weapon. Nice! And this time, the FR that I got was actually new. Hell, yes!

What I got was Hope Estheim’s (from Final Fantasy XIII) FR. Really glad to finally get a new Force weapon from this banner.

5th Anniversary Draw Banner Token Exchange Shop

And that’s it. That’s all the free multi-draws that we got from the 5th Anniversary Draw Banner.

Got lots of trash, which sucks, but glad that I was able to get a couple of new weapons.

Anyway, ended up with a total of 600 G Tokens from pulling on this banner.

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Strago and Ashe Banner

The Lotsa Lore event just started in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game. This event came with 1 banner.

Lotsa Lore Banner

The Lotsa Lore banner features the following chars and their weapons:

Strago Magus from Final Fantasy VI - 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD

Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca from Final Fantasy XII - 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD

Relm Arrowny from Final Fantasy VI - 15cp, 35cp, and Ex

Eald'narche from Final Fantasy XI - Burst or BT only

My Relm’s 15cp and 35cp are fully MLB. Her Ex has been limit broken twice.

My Eald'narche isn’t built at all. IIRC, have copies of his 15cp and 35cp but neither are MLB. Missing his Ex, LD, and BT.

Have 1 copy each of Strago’s 15cp and 35cp but neither are MLB. His Ex has been limit broken once. Missing his LD.

Ashe’s 15cp, 35cp, and Ex are fully MLB. Her Ex has been Purpled or at Ex+ 3/3. Missing her LD.

Thoughts about Strago Magus and Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca

Heard lots of pretty good things about both Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca from Final Fantasy XII (#ad) and Strago Magus from Final Fantasy VI, so was kinda interested in the Lotsa Lore banner, primarily for Ashe.

Ashe is a support who can heal and has some pretty decent buffs and auras. After using her LD, she gets this HP attack called Queen’s Order which pulls the turns of her allies forward so they’ll be able to move right after her. This move will also fully charge the Ex ability of her allies. Ashe can paralyze 1 enemy with her Ex ability.

Strago’s a DPS who shines when there are multiple enemies. He can instantly break his opponents. He can dualcast his abilities.

Already have lots of DPS so wasn’t as interested in Strago but I certainly wouldn’t say no if I end up getting his weapons as well.

Could always use more supports and Ashe’s Ex-charging gimmick seems pretty cool and I already have her Purpled and built so would love to get her LD.

After pitying Bartz Klauser’s (from Final Fantasy V) Burst weapon though, I really can’t afford to spend gems on this banner so here’s to hoping that my tickets will pull through.

Lotsa Lore Banner Free First Multi-Draw Results

Thanks to the Summer Festival campaign celebration, we get a free multi-draw on the Lotsa Lore banner.

Unfortunately, that free draw didn’t give me a single LD. Got 4 golds but they were all dupes - Relm’s 15cp, 2 copies of Relm’s 35cp, and Strago’s 35cp.

At least I can use this copy of Strago’s 35cp to limit break the one that I already have.

Lotsa Lore Banner Tickets Pulls Results

Currently have 305 tickets on hand.

My first 10-draw was absolute trash. Didn’t even get a single gold. There’s no +1 or guarantee with tickets, but still. It sucks to see such a crappy draw result.

My second 10-draw was much better although I wouldn’t have thought so at all since I didn’t even get a gold orb.

And all the items that showed up were either bronze or silver until the last which was gold and which turned out to be -

My very first copy of Strago’s LD. Hell, yes!

This may not have been my main target but was still pleased to see this. Now I have all of Strago’s weapons. Just need to MLB them and build him.

After that draw though, things kinda went downhill since I mostly got blue orbs that mostly contained bronze and silver trash. Didn’t even get an Ex dupe.

Also only got like 1 or 2 or so 15cp and 35cp and they belonged to Relm so couldn’t even use them to MLB Strago’s gear. It got to the point that I didn’t even bother taking screenshots anymore because the results were so bad.

Then, a bit later on, I got a gold orb. This gave me 2 golds - a dupe of Ashe’s 35cp and my very first copy of Ashe’s LD.

Hell, yes! Super pleased to see this. With how bad my previous 10-draws had been, I thought that I wouldn’t be seeing Ashe’s LD anytime soon, or at all. So glad that wasn’t the case at all.

After getting Ashe’s LD, still have 225 tickets left which is definitely nice. I think I’ll toss them on Iroha’s (from Final Fantasy XI) banner which is coming very soon. She’s a support too though she works differently from Ashe.

Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca from Final Fantasy XII

Spent the Power Stones needed to fully MLB Ashe’s LD to get its passive. Got her Bloom Stone, and all of her Summon Boards have been completed.

Also decided to get her LD Boards but couldn’t justify spending the resources to get the Boards for her 15cp, 35cp, and Ex. Ahh, if only the resources to get these weren’t so scarce, then I’d gladly finish all of her Boards.

Also couldn’t justify spending the Tokens to get Ashe’s High Armor since that resource was scarce as well.

I don’t know if I’ll be able to use Ashe on a lot of Lufenia (level 200) quests. I do want to use her on the Lotsa Lore Lufenia quest, especially since she’s synergy there. I’ll see if she can work in her current state before upgrading her further.

Strago Magus from Final Fantasy VI

Was debating on what to do about Strago. Like I said, I already have a lot of DPS so I don’t even see myself using him on the Lotsa Lore Lufenia quest where he’s synergy.

At most, I’ll likely only be using him for the Lotsa Lore Challenge Quest so it didn’t seem wise to fully build him.

At first, I just fully MLB’d Strago’s LD to get its passive. Then I spent only the points necessary to get his LD Call. Later, I decided to fully complete his LD Boards.

Finished all of Strago’s Summon Boards and bought his Bloom Stone. Also fully MLB’d his 15cp and 35cp. It was a bit later on when I did the same for his Ex and then I also spent the Book and Ingots needed to Realize and Purple it.

Update: much later, I also ended up fully finishing the rest of Strago’s Character Enhancement Boards. Still haven’t gotten his High Armor though.

Thoughts about Rydia from Final Fantasy IV

I like Rydia from Final Fantasy IV (#ad) well enough, but wouldn’t call her a fave or anything.

Right now, I have her 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD fully MLB. Her Ex has been Purpled or upgraded to Ex+ 3/3.

She has up to her second armor fully MLB. She has her Bloom Stone. She has triple perfect Artifacts and 0 Spheres.

All of Rydia’s Summon Boards have been completed. Unlocked parts of her Character Enhancement Boards, particularly the tiles that would give me her LD Call and LD extension passive.

Rydia is a support who can deal decent enough damage. IIRC, she provides pretty good party-wide buffs and auras. She can’t heal but she can imperil enemies and enchant the party with the water element.

Rydia’s LD gives the party a buff that allows them to evade 3 attacks. This buff has no turn duration. It will only disappear once a char has evaded 3 attacks.

Rydia and her FR are pretty good but I don’t really need her or her FR. Felt like tossing tickets on her banner though.

This was a bad idea since I highly doubt that I’ll bother to use Rydia even if I manage to get her FR. I’m also 99.99% sure that I’m not gonna bother to MLB said FR even if I happen to get it.

At the moment, I have lots of Force weapons that I ended up pulling but never bothered to MLB so they’re all just clogging up my inventory. It takes a lot of resources to fully max out a Force weapon so I’ve been really stingy and selective in whose FR I decide to MLB.

I doubt Rydia’s FR is gonna make the cut because I just don’t see myself using her much or at all.

If resources weren’t so scarce, I’d gladly max out all of my Force weapons so I can get their passives and sell them off already. Then they can stop taking up space in my inventory.

Anyway, I’m better off saving my tickets for future and upcoming banners but I was like, I have hundreds of tickets on hand right now. Surely, I can spare a few to try to get Rydia’s FR. Plus, I don’t have Firion’s BT yet so maybe it will show up while I’m pulling for Rydia’s FR. 

Act 3 Finale, Climax Banner 1 Free First Multi-Draw Results

As part of the New Year campaign, we get a free multi-draw on both of the Act 3 Finale, Climax banners.

Banner 1′s free pull gave me a gold orb which turned into a dupe of Yuffie’s LD.

Act 3 Finale, Climax Banner 2 Free First Multi-Draw Results

My free multi-draw on the Act 3 Finale, Climax banner 2 gave me a gold orb which turned into dupes of Yuffie’s Ex, Rydia’s Ex, and Yuffie’s 15cp.

Act 3 Finale, Climax Banner 2 Tickets Pulls Results

As aforementioned, I really shouldn’t pull on these banners but couldn’t seem to help it. Really felt like pulling so decided to toss some tickets on the Act 3 Finale, Climax banner 2. Went with banner 2 since this is where Firion’s BT is.

Currently have 545 tickets on hand.

Aside from the usual bronze and silver trash and a few gold dupes, also got the following:

2/10, came from a gold orb - dupes of Firion’s 15cp and Firion’s LD

1/10, came from a gold orb - dupe of Firion’s Ex

Then, a few pulls later, a Force orb appeared.

Yay! And hell, yes! Super pleased to see this. And super pleased to get my very first copy of Rydia’s FR.

Aside from Rydia’s FR, this 10-draw also gave me a dupe of Yuffie’s LD.

Was down to 495 tickets when Rydia’s FR came home.

It’s too bad that I missed out on Firion’s Burst weapon again but it’s fine. Don’t want to keep on pulling on this banner now that I already have Rydia’s FR.

Rydia from Final Fantasy IV

Just as I feared, didn’t bother to spend the resources needed to fully MLB Rydia’s FR. Couldn’t bring myself to do so since it seemed like such a waste when I don’t even think that I’ll be using it.

Also couldn’t bring myself to fully max out Rydia such as by completing the rest of her Boards or even buying her High Armor.

So for now, I just equipped her with her Force weapon. And that’s it. LOL. Yeah, yeah, maybe I really shouldn’t have bothered to pull for Rydia’s FR. But hey, at least I have it in case I need it, right? LOL.

Act 3 Finale, Climax Banner 2 Daily Free Single Draw Results

Each day, we get 1 free single draw on any one of the currently available banners in Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia.

For now, I’ve been using my daily free single draws on the Act 3 Finale, Climax banner 2 since I’m still missing Firion’s BT and wouldn’t mind getting dupes of Rydia’s FR for limit breaking purposes.

Wasn’t really expecting to get anything from these free single draws. It’s really rare to get a gold from these pulls. It’s happened before but more often than not, I just get the usual bronze and silver trash.

So one day, was surprised when I actually got a gold orb.

This turned into a dupe of Rydia’s LD. Ahh, too bad I didn’t get a dupe of her FR instead or even my first copy of Firion’s BT. Ah, well.

A few days later, I did my daily free single draw on this banner again. To my complete and utter surprise, a Burst orb actually showed up.

OMFG! Also hell, yes! I’m on the banner with Firion’s BT so I already know I’m about to get it.

Don’t have Firion’s Burst weapon yet so I’m really pleased to finally get my first copy even if I currently have no plans of Greening said weapon.
