#didn work i still hate that last ep

Hated that last episode so i drew this to convince myself i liked it

Kinda ranty iwtv review ahead.

When I finally got the chance to watch iwtv I found it meh. Which was weird to me, I was so excited about it.

Been trying to find out why for over a week.

I think I figured out now what I didn't like.

1. A small thing, the music. It didn' fit the scenes and simply sucked.

2. The atmosphere. The show kept the gore but ditched the gothic part of that horror genre imo.

This might partially be due to the fact that the act of blood drinking is pretty much de-mystified in the show. First, it's not a stand in for sex anymore, since there's actual sex. Not a bad thing per se of course, but different vibes.

Secondly, the "experiencing the whole life of a human via their memories when drinking their blood" part obvi couldn't really be put into the show.

3. Daniel. What the hell. Ok, there's the aged up thing, I could live with that. But due to his newly constructed history with Louis, Daniel is missing the wonder, scepticism and in the end downright horror when confronted with an actual vampire.

He's just sassy, bitchy and judgemental all the time, which kinda shapes how Louis in those scenes is presented to the audience.

There's not even respect, like, basic respect for another being who's guest you are. Feels totally off.

(Also I personally love book-Daniel and Armands relationship, so kinda miffed I wont get that).

4. The biggest point: Lestat's and Louis' relationship. There are multiple factors here.

First, the beginning. In the books Lestat was drawn to a deeply depressed Louis with a death wish.

Show Louis attracted Lestat by being assertive and very clear of his boundaries (if you take the most positive spin on his confrontation with his brother).

That sets off an entirely different dynamic. Also, show Louis pretty much has his shit together given the circumstances. He has to run his buisiness while being surrounded by bigotted racists and he's managing kinda well. (Until he rightfully explodes).

He also seems to turn to drinking animal blood not out of guilt or shame, but reason.

It's more like blood is blood and less clean up that way.

Louis doesn't huddle in the sewers, bawling and hating himself while munching on pest rats.

Which interestingly makes show Louis much more likable, because, ngl, book Louis took my last nerve. I was relieved to get Lestat's perspective in the second book, which was much more entertaining.

So, show Louis is likable and relatable, which changes the dynamic. In addition to to that Claudia becomes his sworn ally, so those two built a front against Lestat.

(Rightfully so, Lestat treats them like shit.)

But it divides Louis and Lestat further.

Plus by making Louis more self confident and assertive, it actually feels worse that they added that horrible scene where Lestat beat him up and dropped him (totally unnecessary btw, he was hovering above the ground in the first or second ep already, it was clear he could do that).

It felt like building the character up to tear him down more if that makes sense.

There are things I did like though:

*Like I said, I actually like Anderson's Louis more than book Louis, just not in that combination.

*Sam Reid does an amazing job as Lestat, everyone already knows that of course, and there's just no arguing here.

*Both actors have crazy good chemistry (which yeah, would be even better if not for the changed dynamics, I mean, they're pretty much end game in the books, they should work well together).

*Armand is perfect. He is ridiculously gorgeous while also appearing very calm and collected with a side of creepy. Which is exactly how Armand should be given the way he is described in the books (he's not 17 in the show, but I still think he's a great choice).

All in all it's not a bad adaption, it has some great scenes and I will keep watching, I'm just not blown away by it.

I would love for people to add to this, since it's probs a more unpoplular opinion, so discussion is always interesting.

Also, full disclosure, I ditched my Anne Rice books years ago, so I might remember stuff wrongly, please point that out to me.

I hate season 8 too but to be fair the last episode of season 7 was the end for Jackie and Hyde. The writers just put a towel-wrapped Kelso for humor but actually that caused the end of their relationship. I know how we all blame "the writers changed for season 8 and they didn´t like Jackie x Hyde so they just split them apart" but I think episode 7x25 was the actual slap to our faces. I still ship them and I like to think they found their way back to each other later in the 80s.

Oh, I totally agree. I’ve written about this a lot, including that the Filgos (T7S’s out-going showrunners in season 7) supposedly wanted to give the in-coming showrunners (who hadn’t been hired yet) a built-in story arc for the first few eps of season 8. So the original season 7 finale – which was also the original series finale was changed.

(Season 8 wasn’t greenlit until at least halfway through the production of season 7, and everyone who worked on the show believed season 7 would be the last.)

Originally, Hyde proposed to Jackie (according to a report from someone with insider info/connections to the show; she wrote about it on Fan Forum’s T7S message board many years ago; unfortunately, I didn’t save the link). But the proposal was replaced with a rehash the Hyde/Jackie/Kelso triangle. The Filgos likely believed whoever was hired to run the show would understand and respect who the characters had become by season 7 and continue their arcs properly. The first four eps of season 8, or so, would’ve had Jackie and Hyde finding their way back to each other again, Hyde probably proposing, and a good portion of season 8 dealing with an engaged Jackie/Hyde.

Frustratingly, the people hired to run season 8 didn’t respect, understand, or like Jackie and Hyde’s romantic relationship and used the “gift” the Filgos gave to end Jackie and Hyde’s relationship permanently.

Another sabot caught in the machinery is that, purportedly, Wilmer Valderrama wanted Fez to be in a romantic relationship with one of the female leads of the show. That wasn’t going to be Donna, so who was left but Jackie? The show should’ve hired Cynthia LaMontagneback and, to give Fez a “hot” girlfriend, have Rhonda return as the fitness version from the end of “It’s a Wonderful Life” (4x01). Although real!Fez (not season 8′s OOC playboy Fez) would preferred the Rhonda he fell in love with.

The Eternal Digi-discussion: “Koumi or Jyoumi”

After watching the 4th Digimon Tri Movie: Soushitsu, i’m getting the feeling that the relationships between each of the digidestined are taking shape.

From my point of view,  Takari seems to be a very close friendship between Hikari and Takeru, i don’t know if Takeru feels atractted to Hikari in a “romantic” way, but he does feel a great love for her, and he cares a lot about her and what happens to her, like a sister-brother bond. For Hikari, it’s a little different, because it seems she’s starting to develop some kind of feeling for him, maybe a little atracttion outside their brother-sis-kinda-like relationship, maybe they would end up together, but it’s not certain.

On the other side, “Taito” feels completelly like a love-hate friendship from both of them, like a bromance, that could be fueled by their shared interest in Sora.

Sora does have feelings for both of them, in Digimon Adventure 01, we saw a close relationship between Taichi and Sora, and later, on the Our War Game OVA, it’s proved that there’s something going on with them, but it seems like Sora it’s in love with Taichi, but he doesn’t go for it, so Sora just moved on, with her broken heart. Later, on the Diablomon Strikes Back! OVA, we can see that Sora and Yamato are dating, just like it’s told on Digimon Adventure 02, so it’s like Sora was in love with Taichi, but he didn’t make up his mind, so when  Yamato started to ask her out, she just gave the chance.

But in Tri it seems that Sora and Yamato do have something going on, but Sora seems to feel something for Taichi, making their love triangle very complicated.

On the Epilogue from Digimon Adventure 02, it’s implied that Sora and Yamato did had a family together, but maybe on Tri, we’re going to have some Taiora that’s not going to work, ending up on the Sorato canon epilogue we all know. And at last, but no least the girl that is breaking all the ships on Tri, Mimi Tachikawa. It’s very common to find Jyoumi shippers arguing that Joe and Mimi do share many things and have a lot on time together on screen in Digimon Adventure 01 and Digimon Tri, which, in fact, it’s true. But to me, the relationship between Mimi and Joe it’s like a “best friends” thing, in which Mimi feels very confortable with Joe to talk her things and that kind of stuff, because Joe it’s a very comprehensive person, so it’s easy for Mimi to feel confidence with him as a close friend.

Joe, on the other hand, it’s a very protective person with his friends, and he does care for all of them, not only for Mimi, for example, when he goes to visit Koushiro to see how is he doing.

But from my point of view, i don’t feel like Joe and Mimi have interest in a “romantic” way for each other, they’re just good friends, just like the relationship that Koushiro haves now with Takeru.

I am a Koumi shipper since like, the past 17 years, since i watched the Digimon Adventure EP 10, i thought they were a funny couple, althought Koushiro has always been my fav digidestined. But in the Adventure 01, it doesn’t seems to be a lot of evidence from a “romantic” relationship between Mimi and Koushiro, but what it do seems to be it’s the fact that Koushiro it’s a very distant self-centered kid, and Mimi is a very attention needed girl, who always wants to be the center of attention. The fact that in Adventure 01, Izzy doesn’t seems to give a damn about Mimi, gave Mimi a reaction like “Why on earth you don’t see i’m so pretty, but not in a Notice me, senpai, way”. Later, on Adventure 01, Koushiro starts to have more especific weight in the digidestined team, being in charge about taking decissions, and the fact that all the other digidestined rely 100% in Koushiro for what all are going to do. Mimi noticed that, and in some kind of way, she felt secure leaving things on Koushiro. Later, on Digimon Adventure 02, Mimi moved to North America and lost contact with all the digidestined except with Koushiro, maybe because he is like a tech freak and he is always in his laptop sending e-mails and stuff. Maybe, when she was in North America, the fact that she kept in touch with Koushiro made her miss less Japan and the other digidestined.

In the Diablomon Strikes Back OVA, Koushiro was the one who knew that Mimi was coming, and as soon Mimi arrived to Japan, she went directly to Koushiro’s. I guess that she felt Koushiro was trying so hard to find a solution for the conflict, that she wanted to help him being just there as a company. I feel like it’s a cool relationship because Koushiro always is so hard pusher with himself, and Mimi does help him in taking things easy and calm. In all the Diablomon Strikes Back OVA, Mimi and Koushiro were together, Koushiro was so stressed about the situation, taking the boss position, telling everyone what to do, and Mimi was just there for him, trying to make him chill out and relax.

3 years later, on Digimon Tri, things were just too similar, Koushiro was the one who kept in touch with Mimi, and he just invited her in a cassual way to cross the whole ocean just for a football game, which it’s illogic and ridiculous, BUT, Mimi did reply the message and accepted to go, asking Koushiro to book her flight and that stuff. Mimi was joking, but Koushiro did check flights prices, and when she arrives in Japan, as soon that she sees Koushiro, she starts to tease him with flirting jokes and things like that, because she notices that Koushiro has developed atracttion to her, which it’s exactly what she always wanted on Digimon Adventure 01.

It’s pretyt obvious that Koushiro it’s in love with Mimi, and i think that it’s pretty obvious too that Mimi knows it.

When the digidestined hang out all together, Mimi always seems to be close to Koushiro, in the Hot Spring Bath trip, Koushiro was choosing his clothes but was in despair, so Mimi just went by, so chill and relax and told him what to wear, which it’s very funny, and i think that way are going to be the things if those two end up together, Koushiro being in despair for not knowing what to wear and Mimi choosing for him, just like a regular wife. Other interesting things it’s the fact that Mimi it’s always making compliments to Koushiro, like, about his office, his software, and stuff like that, saying that she is impressed. To me, it sounds like she’s in impressed with the man who is becoming Koushiro, and that reinforces the fact that she always had 100% trust in Koushiro and his decissions, aknowleding him as the true leader, instead of Taichi, who appears to be distant in Tri, and clearly not qualified on Digimon Adventure 01 and 02.

I’m not saying that Mimi is in love with Koushiro, but i feel like she is developing a clearly interest on him.

But let’s move on to what matters, the fact that in Digimon Tri, Koushiro and Mimi seem to get along very well, but it’s clear that both of them crash in discussions, mainly for the reason that their personalities are so different.

But to me that’s not a bad sign, i think it’s a good sign for Koumi shippers because both of them have some kind of chemistry thing going on, a love-hate thing, but the thing that makes it different its the fact that Koushiro likes Mimi in a “romantic” way, and she appears to know it.

But that doesn’t stops them from getting in a hot discussion between Koushiro and Mimi, so in a twisted kind of way, it’s pretty much like those relationships between two people that like each other, but no one is going to make a move.

Digimon Tri is a sea of Koumi hidden references:

When the reboot occurs and all the digimon return to the digiworld, Koushiro is trying so hard to keep them all together, which he fails because the digiestined ended up splitting each one from the other. There’s a scene when Koushiro is calling everyone to find a way for them to recover their digimon partners, and he calls Mimi, she sees the phone, and it’s thinking to answer or not, which it’s a curious thing, because Mimi rarelly doubts of herself. But that is maybe because she was sad about losing palmon, or maybe she was still mad with Koushiro from their previous discussions.

But then, there is this other scene…

Koushiro is in his office, working the shit out of him to find a way to recover their digimon partners, on the edge of becoming crazy, and then… Mimi enters to his office.

He didn’t notice her, just like in the past.

But her reaction it’s different, she doesn’t made a scene or any noise, she was just there, watching him, in a confussed way, like she’s is doubting something. Then she cleans off the mess, and leaves him his Tea, and she just walks away, having a sad look, but to me it seems like she was in fact, still mad with him, but she does worry about him, and she is praying with all her heart the Koushiro founds a way to solve this thing, like he has always done in the past.

Koumi in the Digiworld:

The digidestined arrive and found their partners, just like Koushiro planned it, but their partners didn´t recognize them, which makes everyone sad, but Koushiro, who is so energetic telling Mochimon about all the stuff, talking everending just like he always does, and then…

the scene.

Mimi just gets by, on side from Koushiro and starts with that attitude that she always gives to Koushiro like “It’s ok, let’s take a rest, stop talking Koushiro-kun, and relax” and she interrupts him BY FUCKING TRYING TO FEEDING HIM.

I know Mimi it’s a very expressive person, and she always demonstrates her feelings, in special when she loves someone, she just goes there and hug, like Mei, just the opposite of what Koushiro does.

But that, that was just too much…

this time she did worry about Koushiro and wanted him to take a rest, and, in some kind of way, which i don’t clearly understand, she thought that feeding Koushiro was a nice way for her to say thanks for everything, like don’t giving up on recovering their partners, just like all the others.

Koushiro blushes to death and cuts the biggest and best Koumi scene ever, but the message was sent.

Mimi does have feelings for Koushiro.

But we still don’t know if Mimi knows.

Then we have this scene when all the digidestined are sent far from each other (just like in adventure 01, which ended up with Mimi and Koushiro being together), but in this time, Mimi ended up with Tentomon, and then she starts talking good things about him and she says that it’ll be useful if Koushiro was there, with her, because she knows, no matter what, Koushiro always have a way to solve things up, which is proved later when they battled on ice.

For ending up, i still don’t know if Koumi is going to end being a real thing, like in canon, but it my eyes, we have evidence that Koumi IS A THING.

And i will say that in all the ships which Mimi is involded with, Koushiro is taking the lead. Thanks for reading.

"Make U Smile"` shows her vocals very well and feels kinda magical. "WIthOrWithOut" is a nice song I really like and "Lemon-Aid" is a really good summer song. Lastly "U" is a catchy song that makes fun to listen.

Okay I know they an "old" group (debuted in 2007... I was 8 at that time) but damn there is a reason why they´re still active. They deliver very well and their vocals are so nice I fell in love with all of them.

"Lucky Like That" is a very beautiful catchy song while "Seventeen" is pretty solid. "Villian" is already the 4th? song with that title and it´s just as good as the others. "You Better Run" is very interesting while "Closer" is such a nice song. "MoodLamp" isn´t it for me and "Summer Night" is a solid track and "Freedom" is okaysh too. "Paper Plane" is a dreamy song and a nice choice to end the album.

I´ve heard a lot about this debut and there was already so much drama I hope for them the company takes responsibility and things will clear up soon. Anyway this is a solid song and I really like their vocals but it feels like they holding back. And as much as I like the song it doesn´t really feel special enough. Especially the MV, although I like the concept as itself (not for the age of some of them which make me kinda uncomfortable btw), lacks some more stunning details, especially when you look at the MVs of the other HYBE´s artists. (Note: This one really grew on me over the month and it´s really catchy so I had to bump it up a little bit

"The World Is My Oyster" is an intro I didn´t really need. "Blue Flame" is okayish but felt way too long. "The Great Mermaid" was the first song I acutally liked and lastly "Sour Grapes" is solid and I think it will be a grower.

Another debut this month and to be honest I didn´t expect to like this so much but I´m kinda hooked. The MV is really cool with zombies and a nice performance and the kinda cute elements didn´t bother me at all. Only thing is that there are extremely young members (2x08´ and 2x07´liners) while the others are way older (2x03´ and 1x01´liner). But anyway I´m not gonna complain over good music. And it reminds me a little bit of PTT from Loona.

"UP" is a good track while "TELL ME ONE MORE TIME" is a typical girl group song you have to like. Despite the little cringy title and chorus of the track "SUPER COOL" it´s actually pretty cool. "FEELIN´ SO GOOD" is an upbeating happy song that is enjoyable.

This is very noisy and normally I love this music but something is annoying me and I´m not sure what. I love the MV and the start of the song. It might be the chorus that repeats the word deep a bit too often. Maybe this song will grow on me over time, at the second listen it was already way better but maybe it will just annoy the shit out of me I don´t know. (Note: This song is moved so many times from me that I decided to not add it and bump it down to 6,5 points because I´m so ambivalent to this)

"Stupid" is such a nice pop song I fall in love at an instant and also the only song I could include because the rest of the album are singles which are released before. "Second" with BIBI is from 2021 but I like it. "DESSERT" with Loopy and JEON SOYEON is from 2020 so it´s not included in this rating but I didn't really like the chorus from this so yeah good it´s not. Same for "Badster" which wasn´t it for me as well but it´s from 2019. "Punk Right Now" with 3LAU and "Sober" with Ummet Ozcan are both from 2018 so also no inclusion here, let me say I kinda like Sober.

Yeah I´m not sure what I should say about this. I love their vocals and it´s kinda enjoyable because it doesn´t lose the pace but normally I wouldn´t add this to my playlist. The MV is also fun.

"Us Two" is a slower ballade but it´s very vibey. "Sandcastle" is also good for a ballad very good because it doesn´t get too slow. "One and Only" again is slower and I wish I wouldn´t always get bored but I do. "First Loss" and "Just hug me" are both released before so they were out of this ranking but kinda liked them.

I didn´t expect to like it that much I´m so in love with her voice and the song is also soooo good I´m in love with it. The visuals in the MV are also extraordinary and the lyrics are so relatable about letting your fears go and doing what you want not what others expect from you.

"Rose" is a nice start into the album and showcases her vocals very well. "Softly" is a solid song but doesn´t give me that much. "TE AMO" is a powerful love song and I like it. "Charging" with JUNNY is a nice ballade but sadly I´m still not a big fan of ballads. Lastly "Rain" is a solid last song I surprisingly like as well.

Rating: 8/10 for Drive (Instrumental: 7,5/10; Vocals: 8/10; Lyrics: 8/10; MV: 6,5/10; Overall Vibes: 8/10)

Rating: 6,5/10 for MY because I love her vocals but these are not the kind of sings I normally like

Title: Play Hide&Seek

I´m a little bit confused by this. There is so much happening in this song. It's definitely an earworm and might be a grower. For my uneducated self I think the rap wasn't that necessary for the song but tell me if I'm wrong. The MV is fun as well with its colorful setting.

"La Luna" is a bop. "1+1" is a ballade with an unexpected rap part while "GOT'YA" is a nice song and "FRESH" is a kinda fun song that is a bit too much for me.

Rating: 7/10 for Play Hide & Seek (Instrumental: 7/10; Vocals: 7/10; Rap: 5/10; Choreography: /10; MV: 6/10; Overall Vibes: 7/10)

Rating: 6/10 for Bridge of Dreams because I like the half of the songs

She has a nice voice and I liked the song more than I thought I would but it is still a little bit too boring for me. It has these chilling vibes and would be perfect for something I would run in the background.

"Heart (Feat. JUKJAE)" is a slow song that almost lulled me to sleep. "SOME 2 (Feat. JUNG YONG HWA)" is a fun song while "If I Had Known" is a very beautiful ballade that expresses her emotions very well. Lastly "Tree (Feat. DAVII)" has somehow elevator vibes.

Rating: 6,5/10 for Business (Instrumental: 6/10; Vocals: 7/10; MV: 5,5/10; Overall Vibes: 6,5/10)

Rating: 5,5/10 for Day&Night because it are solid songs but they didn´t impress me

This song makes so much fun. Ít´s about making someone fall in love with you and the song has such a happy vibe I love it. Also the MV adds to that very well.

"My Moon" is a beautiful slow song I really appreciate the vocals but I didn´t like the instrumentation.

Ley´s Release Corner Mar`22 - Boys Edition (2/3)

When I don't like a song it doesn't mean I don't appreciate the work and effort that are put into it.

Title: Too Bad

Album: Love Pt.1 : First Love (EP)

I tried my best to like it. Especially because I liked the other titles they had and after Yohans solo I was pretty hyped up. I think it fits good in the springtime though and it has a happy vibe that might become addicting or become annoying. The MV puts you in a good mood and I adore that so much. It´s youthful and bright but personally I like the angstier stuff more. (Since it still made it into my good mood playlist it deserves to get a 7 in the ranking)

"BLOSSOM" is a solid bright pop song but doesn´t give me too much to really enjoy it. "Super Bumpy" has such a unique vibe I kinda like it. "Know Ya" is another pop song that has a little bit of R&B and it´s okay but still doesn´t amaze me. "Bad Night" has a groovy sound but sadly I think this song will just annoy me. "Bouquet" is the last song on the album and it's a love ballad that shows their vocals very well.

Rating: 6/10 for Love Pt. 1 : First Love because I only really love one Bside

Album: ODDINARY (EP)

Artist: Stray Kids

Release: 2022.03.18

Here it is. It's always something different when your ult group has a comeback. I stayed awake till 5 am for this and after it, I was so hyped I couldn't sleep at all. It sounds so different from their latest stuff and I freaking love it. The "Haha" and "ping ping" are so addicting. I didn´t knew I would love the screwer sounds so much but especially with the genius choreography it´s just awesome. I love that I.N got more lines and also Lee Know has his time to shine. And the voices of Hyunjin and Felix blend so nice into each other in the chorus. And the layering and this organized chaos in the refrain add so much to the song. The MV is so well shot and produced like it´s common for Stray Kids and I love to see the upside-down world again since Hellevator is still one of my favorite MVs. I swore to myself that I don´t want to be too biased on this and give it an honest score and I swear it is I just really love it so much because it´s exactly the kind of song I love. And don´t get me started about the lyrics and the meaning behind it because it´s such an important message to be who you are and don´t hide your true self and everything.

And this album has a big potential to beat my long-time favorite "I Am Who" but I'll see over time. "Venom" starts off strong and the beat just hits. "Charmer" is so smooth and lives to his name. "FREEZE" is such a good track with a little bit of dubstep that makes it fun to listen to it. "Lonley St." was my most awaited track on this album. I expected it to be Streetlight pt.2 and lyricwise it definitley is. But even the instruments and everything is just so great I´m very pleased. "Waiting For Us" feels like the big brother from "I am here always", maybe just because Seungmins line but anyways, in the end it could be a Day6 song which I really love it´s just that the song just started a little bit too slow for me. And lastly, we have "Muddy Water" that has a jazz sound and such a good rap like Felix and Hyunjin did so well on this and then Changbin slays like always and Han is so smooth I'm so in love with this. 3RACHA overcome themselves with this album and especially the rap line killed it. I love all songs so much to name a favorite would be like asking a parent who is their favorite child. The only thing I have to complain about is that the songs are a little bit too short or maybe it´s a genius move because I can´t get enough and stream the songs way more often.

Rating: 9,5/10 for ODDINARY because it doesn´t really have a miss in it and every song is so addicting

We have another release of the STATION: NCT LAB. This time not only from Mark but also Haechan and Doyoung. I usually have a hard time with NCT but this song gets kinda addictive. It has a hip-hop beat, the typical experimental sound, traditional instruments and synths. The MV shows the member Shotaro and a stunning performance.

"DAYDREAM" is a solid pop song with beautiful vocals. It´s not bad at all but it´s missing something special which makes me kinda sad because I love the lyrics so much. The choreography felt very smooth and the MV also has beautiful visuals.

"Night Fog" continues the album with R&B vibes showcasing the pretty vocals again. "Don´t Leave" is upbeating and puts me in a really good mood while "PLAY" is an enjoyable pop song. The next song "Our Eyes" has beautiful high notes but I got a little bit bored at the beginning of the song. "Whatever" has an interesting melody that will stick in my head while "Seven Wonders" again goes in the R&B direction making it a very chill song. "Classic" has its own vibe but I don´t really like it. I was afraid of the title "Lovely Day" and I don´t know why but this song sounds exactly like I hoped it wouldn´t. It´s this kind of soft-chilling-it´s-a-good-day-and-the-melody-will-stuck-in-your-head-sound I don´t like. Lastly "All My Life" is a beautiful ballade for the end of the album and I enjoyed it so much.

T1419 released a track about their fandom and it surprised me because compared to their other songs this one is really calm. They give us a cute MV and a powerful ballade that feel encouraging. I was a little bit surprised by their good pronunciation of "Edelweiß"

To be honest I don´t know much about this group but this is the second half of their first full length album and sadly I didn´t like the title. It´s not that it´s bad but the kinda funky electronic pop track isn´t giving me much. I mean at least I like the MV with its high school setting and a choreography that at some point suddenly reminded me of Monsta X and I realized in the end they are under the same company.

"POW!" is such a surprise for me because I didn´t expect this sound at all. "BOPPIN´" and "Chandelier" are also pretty good with their hip-hop sound. "FLIP THE FRAME" kinda change the mood at first but then changes quickly to something powerful again. "Maybe Baby" is a little bit boring again while "Late Night" changes the mood now for real with it's happy vibe. Lastly "Outro: In Our Cosmos" is something I would have wanted as a full track.

Okay, I didn´t expect this at all. After reading the title I thought it would be something with ain´t a special meaning but that lyrics are digging deep. The MV is really something else with showing the boys arguing and fighting and also hinting at things like drugs and smoking and everything. Also the visuals are really beautiful in this MV.

"Our Spring" is a slow ballade that showcases their vocals very well and it has a winter magical vibe.

Rating: 6,5/10 for SERIES ´O´ [ROUND 0] because I like the title but the ballade is too slow for me.

I´m not sure but I think this wouldn't really count in as K-Pop anymore but since I included "My Life" in January (Review here) I don't mind including it. It´s a really pretty emotional song and his lyrics are always so relatable it almost hurts. We got only a visualizer which shows him singing with a little bit of flash lighting that fits the mood very well.

I loved and still love "My Name" last year so my expectations were pretty high for this comeback but sadly it didn´t reach it. I think it´s the chorus which is pretty boring like it doesn´t add anything special to the song. The MV had a low budget and also they decreased in the count of members so I´m a little bit afraid they will disband or vanish into the unknown. (Taking a little distance from my expectations the song isn´t that disappointing as it was the first time listen to it so it may be a grower)

"Love Me" is a solid pop song with its own vibes while "Challenge" is a rap heavy song and I enjoyed it a lot.

I´m surprised. Really really surprised. We got an NCT Title track I actually like at the first listen. It still has the NCT (or more the SM) like experimental sound but it´s not that annoying and I love the bit sounds because I´m stíll a little nerd that easily gets amazed by this stuff. I also like the MV and the choreography. But I just can say that this is a common NCT song and not an NCT U (okay wow good that I control read it though lmao I guess my point is clear) NCT DREAM song if you know what I mean. I´m not a nctizen so I barely know anything but I have an important question and that's why is Mark literally everywhere.

Full Album reviews always take their time and to release them this late in the month is stressing me out to be honest. Anyways let´s start with "Fire Alarm" which is a very typical NCT like and I´m glad it didn´t become the title because the siren sound is literally killing me. (I may have a thing for it because I´m a volunteer firefighter in my village but that´s another story). "Arcade" is a pretty solid song I enjoyed a lot while "It´s Yours" put me in such a good mood. Next is "Teddy Bear" which is also a solid song with nice vocals it´s just a little bit too long for me and "Saturday Trip" is back with that special sound and "Better Than Gold" brings back the good mood again and is a really good song. "Drive" continues this vibe once more although the car locking/opening sound is also annoying me just a little bit. "Never Goodbye" is a really interesting ballade and lastly "Rewind" is also a fun listen.
