but of course i can, wahoo 🙂

das weiße grab: this is the most recent episode and it is set in a snowy mountain setting and justus, peter, bob are going on a ski adventure. the story makes really good use of the “stuck in a cabin during a snow storm” trope and turns it into a “stuck in a cabin with a bunch of dubious people after an avalanche” story. 😄 it’s a fun one!

der pistenteufel: another episode set in the realm of winter sports and it has some great and funny moments, too. jpb share a holiday flat and there’s some delicious domestic bickering. *chef’s kiss*

tödliches eis: jpb investigate during a sled dog race in canada and alaska, so there’s a lot of snow involved as well. and also dogs!! 😍 so in my book that’s a pretty ideal winter episode.

if you’re looking for a specifically christmassy vibe, i’d start with the two hörspiel adventskalender, which i personally quite like. it’s just a really cool concept.

der 5. advent: advent calendar #1, set during the 24 days before christmas and probably my fave out of the two; it involves an elderly lady of german heritage that introduces the three investigators to some german christmas traditions and the case is connected to her advent calendar… and i promise that while it is a bit ridiculous, it’s definitely better and less cringe than my summary makes it out to be 😅

stille nacht, düstere nacht: #2, set at a toys fair on 23 december, so the case takes place during the 24 hours before christmas and it features this amazing piece of dialogue. apart from taking place shortly before christmas and the occasional appearance of a guy dressed up as santa claus for the fair it is overall less festive than der 5. advent, and the focus is more on the whole toy fair / nerd scene setting.

jagd auf den weihnachtsmann: this is an episode from the short story collection die geisterlampe but to be honest i don’t remember that much about it 🤔 i think it’s about a burglar who dresses up as santa?

tatsächlich übernatürliche Ereignisse in den Drei ???

Ich will ne Liste machen mit Folgen, in denen tatsächlich “unerklärliche” Dinge geschehen sind. Bisher habe ich:

Das Bergmonster - soweit ich weiß wird das Bergmonster selbst weder im Buch noch im Hörspiel erklärt.

Die siebte Frau des Leuchters - (Kurzgeschichte in “Das Rätsel der Sieben”) am Ende wird dem Leser/Hörer klar, dass Justus, Peter und Bob die ganze Zeit mit Geistern zusammen gearbeitet haben.

Die Zeitreisende - am Ende der Folge verschwinden zwei Personen aus einem geschlossenen Raum, ohne dass Justus eine “plausible Erklärung” findet - angeblich sind sie in der Zeit gereist

Immer und immer wieder - (Kurzgeschichte in “und der Zeitgeist”) Peter ist in einer Zeitschleife gefangen. [Erklärung: Peter halluziniert während er im Fall “magischer Kreis” im Kofferraum des Autos eingesperrt ist!]

Leaving Nineteen Sixty-Four - (Kurzgeschichte in “und der Zeitgeist”) Justus, Peter und Bob werden von einem durchgeknallten Professor per Zeitmaschine in die Zukunft geschickt.

Dunkle Vergangenheit - (Kurzgeschichte in “und die Geisterlampe”) Ein Vorfahr von Justus taucht in der Gegenwart auf, und Justus reist kurzerhand zu Ahnenforschungszwecken mit ihm in die Vergangenheit.

Ich meine mich zu erinnern, dass es noch mindestens ein oder zwei Momente gab... helft mir mal aus!
