18. What embarrasses them?

Showing vulnerability, especially crying, which is why she will always try her hardest to not be around anyone when those feelings hit. Rheese has always been forced more or less to take care of her life on her own. She’s learned pretty quickly that respect doesn’t come cheap, so it became natural to her to suppress a lot of the more ‘feminine’ associated feelings up to the point that she feels ashamed and exposed when they do surface. It’s part of her flaws.

She’s also self conscious about her body, particularly the cellulite on her thighs, so nudity generally embarrasses her until she’s really comfortable with someone.

21. Why do they get up in the morning?

Because she’s on an endless quest to find that spark in life again :’) Getting up actually became increasingly more difficult for her as the years passed on after her dad died, and not even her police training felt significant to her. She was a rookie cop in NYC for a short time before moving back to Hope County, so it’s not like there wasn’t action in her life, it just didn’t make her feel the way she hoped it would. 

She finds the spark for a short while, in an unusual place, in some unusual people, and enjoying that feeling is what gets her outta bed then.

E) Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you?

Oof that’s a good question tbh... I feel like I would be too much of a mom friend and try to talk her out of all the stupid decisions she takes. Main one would be dating Jacob, cause honestly that just ain’t good. We’d surely enjoy drinks together though :’) Until she punches me for all the things I put her through...

G) What trait of their bothers you the most?

Alcoholism. Now Rheese isn’t a raging alcoholic, she doesn’t have an addiction. But her number one problem solver is whiskey, to numb her mind so she doesn’t have to think about it all anymore. It’s just a shitty way to deal with conflicts and never really works out because all her negative feelings remain, they just get postponed until later. Girl really needs to learn how to talk to people.

5. How would they describe each other? Irina likes simple solutions and short descriptions: so she would just say that “John is insane. Impeccably, sweetly insane”.  John, on the other hand would probably give an essay, but if she would press on describing her in one sentence, he would say that she is “cold as a marble statue”; one that he “thoroughly enjoys using a chisel on”. 18. Describe or write a really angsty scene!     [...] “You dare to call me a killer?” His blue eyes flashed with pure, unbridled fury, and something in her, deep inside, told her to run. And perhaps she would. Long time ago. “You! How many people have you shot, slaughtered, fucking butchered like animals?”     Her response was cold, nearly impassive.     ”Collateral damage.”     “Collateral? You call this collateral damage? Do you even hear yourself sometimes?”     “I do. For me all those butchered people of yours are just this. And don’t -- I said DON’T - try to pretend that you’re not doing the exact same thing. You’re just hiding it behind that fucking joke you call a religion. All four-- hh, pardon me, now only three of you.” She exhaled slowly, then slowly clicked her tongue. She didn’t enjoy any bit of this, but her pride, surpassing even his own, didn’t allow her to admit her own mistakes. What would be the point, anyway? Right now the Resistance was the same thing that Eden’s Gate was. Maybe it wasn’t like this in the beginning, but now, over a year later, it was just a mindless butcher festival.     And she was no better than cult’s heralds. RHAN x EREDIN 3. Describe their relationship dynamic. “Hunt or be hunted”, period.  6. What do they love about each other? “Love” is not exactly a good word when discussing these two. I’m not saying it’s totally wrong, but it’s not a good one either. Eredin desires Rhan in a way similar to a hunter desiring a rare predator’s head for his collection; a final trophy to close the career, the ultimate challenge. Rhan, on the other hand, is mostly curiosity-driven in life. And it’s hard to find someone more complex, difficult and intriguing than king of the elves from another world. Oh, they do feel something more after many, many years, something more passionate, but it takes a hell lot of time, sacrifices and dangerous truces. But then again, I love making fictional characters suffer. :))

Redemption Complex - Prologue

I looked into the wolf’s eyes and torn by agonizing hunger it stared back at me. It was starved just as I was. To make us submit, easier affected by bliss and conditioning. The chain it was being held by rattled. I was nothing more than free food on a silver plate. A muddy gravel pit silver plate surrounded by cages, metal fences, frantically cheering cultists and whimpering prisoners. On top of one of the cages stood Jakob Seed giving another speech about the survival of the fittest and why that was so important for his people. Strong, weak, train, hunt, kill, sacrifice - I couldn’t hear it anymore. He wasn’t the Jakob I knew, but with every passing day it became clearer I wouldn’t get him back...

🖊️🖊️🖊️ How about some gushing for Rhan AND Irina?

👀 I live to serve! IRINA 🖊️ She is afraid of heights - she’s very good at climbing, but every time she does so she’s silently whispering to herself “don’t look down, do not even dare to look the fck down...”

🖊️ Irina loves driving fast and crazy, but her weakness are cars with automatic transmission. She hates driving those. 🖊️ The first time she met Cheeseburger, she was genuinely terrified; but she quickly learned to absolutely love this bear, though she prefers to travel with Peaches because Irina values stealth above all. RHAN 🖊️ She has a long scar that goes all the way across her spine - it is a sad memento after Skelligers realized she must’ve been associated with Svalblod cult once (while, in fact, her parents where, not her), and started to perform Blood Eagle on her; the only reason why they had to stop so early was because Rhan’s half-Chironex, Nidhhöggr, intervened. Quite brutally. She was 19 at the time and briefly found herself on Skellige for the first time in 13 years - and didn’t return there for another 20 years after that. 🖊️ It’s no secret that Isengrim Faoiltiarna hates humans - he accepted Rhan in his commando because during those first few (2-3) years he believed Rhan could be sacrificed if something went wrong - either as a bait, or by pretending to hold her hostage and slit her throat if required. Thankfully, time proved that it was not necessary. 🖊️ From all main Wild Hunt generals (Eredin, Caranthir, Imlerith, Ge’els) she hates Imlerith the most; mostly because of his love for brutality, which remains her of that of Skelligers - and she hates them, even though she is indeed from Skellige. In the beginning she was the most “easy-going” so to speak towards Caranthir.

I’ve been jumping between MHA and Dragon Age, writing out scenes to connect for the main stories I have going on. 

Here’s some Mayumi and Suzume with Hawks at a pro hero gala:

“Well, clearly they would all be doomed without us.”

“Of course they would be!” Someone called with a laugh. “Who wouldn’t be all doom and gloom without my favorite goddess, am I right?”

“Oh for fuck’s sake.” I muttered just as Hawks appeared out of what seemed like nowhere, and I wondered if maybe he was waiting on the other side of the damn column just to make an entrance. Something I wouldn’t put past him.

Mayumi’s eyes narrowed as her grip on the glass tightened. “I am not—"

“Asui, is that you?” Hawks asked, looking over at me with a smile. “Long time, no see. I sent a request to team up a few months back, but you’re impossible to reach for some reason.”

“Gee, it’s almost like its on purpose, Chicken Nugget.”

His smug smile only widened, his gold eyes dancing a bit before he glanced back at Mayumi and gave a fake pout. “Awww, no red this year? You didn’t want to match again? But we looked so good last year, Hirano.” Hawks made a show of his suit, a red and black one that was similar to the one he had worn the year before, and I thought for sure the glass in Mayumi’s hand would shatter to pieces. It was amusing to a lot of people when they had unintentionally color coordinated at last year’s event, much to Mayumi’s chagrin and frustration.

Then we have a team up with Suzume and Fatgum as they protect a few kids from MHA (Kirishima is loving how manly it is):

It always seemed that the skeletons came crawling at the worst possible moments.

“Suzume…” Tsu called, her voice laced with concern and fear, making my heart race as my own worry grew.

“Oh, Suzume…already using your tattoos.” Aiya clicked her tongue as her voice dripped with condescension. “Not even using your pitiful doodles you waste time on…well, guess I can’t blame you for that.” She cocked her head tauntingly, eyeing me carefully. “I heard they gave you special permission for that in your third year.”

The webbing fell and my arm dropped, fists still clenched as I glared at her. “Aiya…stop this.” Her mask broke then, the teasing look twisting into rage and spite as she looked down at me.

“No.”

I leaned forward as she spat again, balls of web coming at us. The cherry blossoms surrounding my samurai moved from my skin, twirling before shooting forward and cutting through the balls quickly. They didn’t stop there, however, and she threw her arms up as they ripped by her—cutting the purple skin-tight ensemble she dawned.  Once that was over, she dropped her arms and glared, hardly shaken by it. “Oh, you have got to be fucking kidding me.” I mumbled as Fatgum took a step forward, standing with me. “You don’t have to do this—"

Aaaaand Athera having a heart to heart with Evune. I might have shared this before, but I can’t remember:

“I…I don’t know what you want me to say.” I murmured, glancing behind me at the others. Blackwall carving something with his knife as Varric lounged next to the fire, watching it as he lowly spoke of stories of his travels. Solas, only a little further from the fire than Blackwall, sat quietly, stoically as he listened, whether to Varric or us, I wasn’t sure. “Being the First is…” I glanced back down below us, the moon full and lighting the plains in front of us as the creek ran not far from our camp. “I didn’t think I’d have to do it; I didn’t think for a moment that Isha would…”

“Die?” Evune offered as she watched me carefully, her sharp eyes taking in everything and reminding me of the hunter she became once she joined our clan. Andruil’s vallaslin was more than fitting for her, as she almost seemed to befome one with her bow at times. It was moments like this that made me more grateful to have my cousin by my side.

“I went to the Conclave because I needed time to think, I…I didn’t want the responsibility that came with being a First. I don’t know if I want to be Keeper when Deshanna steps down.”

If I was expecting a shocked reaction from her, I would have been disappointed. It was as if I had just told her the sky was blue, the only movement from her was the slight arch in her brow as I glanced over her. “I hope you’re not expecting me to overly surprised by this, Athera. You jumped at the opportunity when everyone was ready to let me scout it out.”

“And ended up with more responsibility than before.” I laughed humorlessly. “Just think Evune, if Isha hadn’t died, if I hadn’t jumped at the opportunity to run from the weight of being the First, you could be Inquisitor right now.”

“In what world would that be reassuring, Little Fawn? Me and Fen’an leading this little pack of warriors? You and I both know that the right person was there for that. Don’t haunt yourself with those kinds of thoughts, you’re the leader because you’re meant to be.”

Maybe you can tell us a bit more about how Irina came to be😊 Influences on her character /style? Are certain things about her connected to stories? I'm personally interested in that badass throat tattoo 😍

Huh, this is going to be a long post, I’m afraid, but let’s go!

Well, I’m a sucker for characters that are battle-worn and hide their emotions to some extent and for some reason, so that’s the main tea.  Now, Irina is a bit of a mess considering the amount of different influences I used while creating her, but I always liked making my OC as much detailed as I could, though sometimes it may create something weird. As some people probably noticed, I added some ‘easter eggs’ in her backstory that clearly show my other fictional obsessions - her father being an “former SAS Captain” is an obvious reference to Captain Price from Call of Duty Modern Warfare trilogy, her grandfather (from mother’s side) being former Spetsnaz is a nod to my general fascination for military and special forces, her being partially Russian is because I really like Russia in terms of traditions and history and so on. And I love Russian names and surnames. Now, covering the Iceland part of her life - I love Scandinavian themes, especially vikings (I mostly blame the Vikings TV series for that, and Skyrim, a little bit). It took me a while to think about how I want to combine Far Cry 5 timeline, happening in 2018 with something that was going on over a thousand years ago, but eventually I did. So I’ve decided that after her mother’s death, few hours after troublesome childbirth, her father took Irina to where he used to live when he was young - to the northern part of Iceland, with barely any people living around, that chose to cut themselves off from the current world and live like their ancestors used to in the past. Maybe it is a bit stretched out, but well, I couldn’t help it. So thanks to those 17 years she lived there, Irina’s personality was created - she’s cold and mentally strong. And that little thing I added as well - she’s basically a heathen that still, to some small extent, believes in old norse gods. That’s a nod to my fascination for paganism in general. Now, I hope that no one will get me wrong, I simply consider christianity as a bit of a boring subject, and I simply don’t like the main idea behind it. Moving forward, we have the next five years of her life, which is about illegal street racing. After some time, her father decided to show Irina another place in the world that is important to him, and she follows. They move to Hereford in UK (once again, nod to CoD MW and 22nd SAS Regiment, because they actually have a base in this county), but her father dies after not even a year after. At this point, Irina is 18 years old but practically alone, with no one else around. She starts going to “the dark side”, coloquially speaking and becomes fascinated with cars, and quickly realizes that she simply has a knack for car driving, and uses it to her advantage - most illegal things are a good source of income, and street races are not an exception. She moves from one city to another and manages to get quite a good amount of money, but five years of this life start to bring problems with the law, so she uses her contacts and manages to get away from the country and moves to the US.  The whole “street racing” concept is also based on the fact that I love supercars, and used to play Need for Speed a lot when I was a kid. ... And then we all know how it goes, welcome Far Cry 5 timeline. :”) I could elaborate on that + New Dawn one as well, but I guess it’s a material for another post. And about the throat tattoo - this is the only one that she made not in Iceland, but while being in UK. Something to cheer herself up a bit after her father died - tattoos, cars, so on. It doesn’t have any bigger meaning, compared to many of those she has on her legs, arms and torso, because all of these are connected to norse paganism (runes, ravens, animal skulls etc.) I hope I managed to answer your question! xD And thank you for your interest ;w;
