BUT ANYWAY thats me reimagining trigun into hades. now imagining trigun into an #ORIGINAL video game.... ough... ohhh....guhh... #a doodley #this is a very round al but in a different way ykwim like if this was a digital doodle id be stretching his head/face #out from the sides...wider wider #also al always strikes me as being a very specific type of cherubic looking white boy ive witnessed a few times in my life #which is why i drew his lips like dis but idk. i think him having less of a top lip adds to his character LOL #like we can't all have lip...(just further evening things out since talon is all lip al has half lip and i have 0 lip)#i have to Double Line the spots on dis that i missed...its fun...makes for good mechanical exercise ^_^#i gotta go to the urasawa school of drawing big noses real quick

Yesss!!! It's his squishy ass vs her thicc ass! See, Armin's ass is only squishable and etc when he's happy, healthy and well-fed with emotional and physical nourishment (it's flat as hell when he's sad), whereas Annie's thicc ass is a naturally occuring phenomenon (but only for her 😌)

And he's an ass-man and boob-man and all those things, sure, but Annie... She likes exercising her fingers. A lot.

whenever i see quark drawn with abs i'm like. you literally don't know him. this is the guy who wimpishly said he doesn't exercise because it makes him sweat

haha well, yeah no i agree with you

the thing is it's not really uni friends. those just either don't reply or reply that they're busy when it's about something esle than school, they're clear with us that they have their own friend groups they value more and outside of the university setting we don't really keep in touch too much. i mean i tried befriending one girl but it eventually backfired at me so i decided it's not worth to spend my time and health on that

the thing that's happening lately is with people i have known before for ~5 years out of which one of them is my rommate. and only around january/february this year it started becoming clear what we stand on. that's probably why the whole thing is so frustrating to me now, especially that situationship with my roommate/best friend that we ended up in. it's such a complicated and multilayered situation at this point that it's just simply more tiring than upsetting

but in any case thanks for nice words, i hope it gets better too

#the psychologist lady im meeting for personalized development exercises told me the same actually #she was like okay you're upset that they don't value you as much but do you really want to stay friends with people like who don't #the problem is that it's not that easy because i don't have anyone esle here. like at all #so my takeaway from that was that since at least when it's all good i have people around me then it's better than having no one no matter #whether it's good or bad #and when it's bad i can always type down all my annoyance into the void that is my tungle dot com blog #it's not the same as having a friend to talk about it with but it's not that awful option either i guess lol #ive been working on myself a lot this semester so im now viewing it all in a different light than those 6 months ago #and im really starting to thing that the fault for how im feeling in all on this doesn't really lie entirely on my side #because they really could've just been better friends. and people in general i suppose #but i still deeply care about them and that's probably why it's so frustrating #think* not thing goddammit autocorrect

gotta say that the most damning thing for the band whose concert i just went to, is that despite most of their fans apparently having come from one direction, there are only two (2) rpf fanfics of them

#both of which also contain 1d #and both have their main ship with at least one 1d guy #no shipping of bandmates for this band #wild #given they seem decently big #and again‚ their fans used to be 1d fans #anyway #it was alright #it was a nice couple of hours and a great exercise in stepping out of my bubble #cz holy damn was it a different type of band and audience than i would usually see at a concert #caffeines cackles

the concept of marina being frivolous and liking nonsensical, useless pretty things because she likes the idea that of being able to lose it then easily replace them after. like the whole concept of her having something so easily replaceable, and she can just get it again just as easily when she had nothing to herself before. something that she can consider hers, and it’s hers to own and hers to lose, that sense of personal autonomy and security when she lacked it before, she likes to feel that hence why she would decorate herself with so much gold and gems. she doesn’t care if she loses it - she probably loses so many all the time - but she knows it is easily replaceable and she’s capable of replacing it after.

#like something abt that so interesting to me. someone having nothing but when they grew older #and they’re now more financially stable - or at least have the means to do whatever they want - they’d just develop that frivolous habit #and they indulge every whim they have and purchase anything they want bc they couldn’t before. and they have that security (and they know #they have such security) that they can just do that i like that concept for marina #i think her motivation to be a pirate /join the lords is that. she can do whatever she wants now. she’s gonna take whatever she wants too #and she just minimizes any errors for herself bc she’s a self preserving type but she likes to exercise that freedom bc of her past #which is so different from shri’iia who actively tried to resist it meanwhile marina is like nah imma do my own thing #and i like the idea of that being marina’s motivator like she’s a pretty selfish person #which makes sense with her. selfish and self preserving and she likes to live in the moment #and she takes whatever she wants bc she can. and she does whatever she wants bc she can as well #but that want manifesting into something more noble and heroic lol #honestly I’m working out why <- she would even bother with the world saving deal when she’s a selfish character to her core #one concept I’m toying with is that she sees this as a job/gig that was given to her and she hasnt failed any she’s done and she’s not #treating this one as any different #oc: marina.

More advice i like. I think trying to emulate writers you enjoy can be helpful when practicing, but don't let it bog you down if you struggle when doing that. No practice is useless.

#one thing i would think to add #is that for me personally:#when i remember to put more thought into it #i will place more or less focus on certain types of description depending on my pov character #if i have an oc who's a painter they may be more likely to focus on color/form/etc #like a writing exercise i loved doing in class was writing about the same character but from 3 different povs #and for one i wrote about a high school girl character; the 1st pov was from her boyfriend the 2nd pov was from her violin teacher #and the 3rd pov was from her younger sister #the bf's pov focused a lot about her hair and smile and the melodious sound of her voice #the teacher pov focused on her posture and how her hands looked and was a much more technical-sounding whereas #the bf's pov was more poetic #and the sister's pov focused on the girl's faults and was steeped in annoyance and familiarity
