I take offense when someone that never sold a car, handled a lead, taken a phone up, serviced a customer, or worked at a car dealership starts talking about our business being the most ”old school”. Anyone can do marketing for a business and formulate an opinion by what they see. But who do you think you are to judge? When is the last time you took an up? When is the last time you stayed til 1am to deliver a car for a mini? When is the last time you had to handle objections over the phone to get someone to consider doing business with you? When is the last time you got abused by “old school” management or even be forced to do “old school” practices because of how you are being led? When is the last time you serviced a customer as a service advisor? Let me preface this by saying that they are not totally wrong! But they are also not right! As “old school” as our industry is there’s been a lot of strides taken with some very brilliant people paving the way for the industry to grow and improve. I have seen rapid growth and improvement in 20 years of doing this. I do believe that modern (not digital) retailing will eventually secure its place but not for another 5-10 years. However, it is a work in progress. If we must talk about super “old school” let’s talk about Buy Here Pay Here! The things that were “hot on the market” items in marketing and technology 12 years in “automotive retail” is still a shocker and very new to most BHPH operators. I am tired of seeing people without any real credibility or experience in working at or managing an auto dealership spew nonsense. The real credibility comes from taking ups in 100 degree weather, overcoming objections, staying past midnight to deliver a car for a $50 commission only to have the customer create commotion and say “the brand new car needs body work” (happened to me when I was 22 years old) and, just working on that side of the fence. Don’t come at me with your thoughts and opinions until you have developed “thick skin” in this business! Drama, Orchestra, and Choir.
VISUAL ARTS- Knowing how to print, take photos, and produce a film COULD do something for a villain It's just an extra skill.
Printmaking, Digital Media, Photography, and Film Production.
BUSINESS- If you wanna be one of THOSE villains that are RICH, then this is definitely the route you wanna take.
Marketing, Personal Finance, and Entrepreneurship.
TECHNOLOGY INFORMATION- In Ninjago, for someone to know a LOT about technology can get you really far. (REBOOTED for example)
Computer Science and Media Studies/Technology.
FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCE- Why the fuck would a villain need this?? For one, learning how to cook for poison (this is a villain school) and CPR is a really good way villains can "deem" themselves as a good person.
Culinary Arts, Retail Marketing, and CPR.
VILLAIN EDUCATION- The prime electives in the School. For this AU, students have to pick a minimum of two of these classes. For Criminology, it's recommended to have it in the 9th grade so it can set up your core classes.
Criminal Justice, Criminology, Networking, Robotics, Metalworking, and Automotive.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION- This is where the brawns part of the "Brains and Brawn" saying. Students at a minimum have to pick two classes (one for the first semester, and the next for the second) to actually pass the requirement to be a Villain.
Group one: Health, Wellness, Physical Education.
Group two: Gymnastics, Weight Training, Martial Arts.

Hiya! Sorry this one is a little late, the weekend really tuckered me out lol
Ok so if the Shapeshifter gang were in a College AU, this is what I think it'd look like:
Kerr McKay is a automotive engineering grad student, having left his home country of Ireland to study in the States. He wants to design motorcycles once he finishes up his degree, and spends an inordinate amount of time tinkering with his own motorcycle as a hobby.
Jay is also an automotive engineering student with an eye on motorcycle manufacture, but she wants to start her own company once she's finished, so she's also pursuing a business management degree - even though she absolutely hates it.
Warrick is an arts student pursuing a BFA, and the bane of his professors' existences. He's got enough credits for three minors in digital media, photography, and marketing because he just keeps signing on for more classes instead of graduating.

Jay and Kerr met first. The school's dorms were co-ed, and students were usually grouped by their fields of study, so they were on the same floor. Combined with having a lot of the same classes, the two grew close pretty quickly. Warrick was paired with them in one of their gen ed classes for a project - a happy accident of fate - and the three just kinda clicked. When Jay began to talk about starting her own motorcycle manufacturing company, Kerr and Warrick were very quick to throw their lot in with her. Kerr designated himself as Jay's lead engineer and 'creative genius' while Warrick took up the mantle of PR guru and artistic director.
Currently, Jay and Kerr are trying to finish out their degrees under the guidance of Professor Carlisle Morrish and his assistant professor Portia Beckham, while Warrick drags out his degree until Jay and Kerr are set to graduate. The three of them rent an apartment close-ish to campus, though they're hardly ever there. Warrick works part-time at a local radio station as one of their social media interns, and sometimes does advertisements when needed. Kerr and Jay do TA work for Professors Morrish and Beckham, and all three of them tend to hang around campus more often than not to meet up with friends (and rivals).
Jay is in a bit of a low-stakes war with the TA of one of her business classes. She swears Adrien Montrose is out to get her personally (he isn't), and is determined to make him give her a perfect grade before either of them graduates. Warrick and Kerr are embroiled in a long-standing prank war with some of the other engineering students and have recently wrangled some of the new undergrads into it - one Aleksei Rybkin is particularly enthusiastic. They're also trying to prove once and for all that the rumors surrounding Dr. Pearce - one of the biology professors - are true and she is hiding bodies and experimenting on them in her lab when no one's around.
