Dimension hopping is something I want to play around with and maybe incorporate to this guy’s story.. Like maybe this goober just goes to different worlds and chills there. Just hanging with some other animals or going to different places and events.

Sorcerers weren’t particularly known for being brittle in nature. They were survivors, saviours, self-reliant. Sacrificial. All gallant values that they seemed to wear all too proudly on their chests like medals of honour. Values that they seemed to chant with almost a religious conviction. Carved into them like branding scars. All achieved over the span of several generations — several lifetimes. Through careful but consistent persuasion... until it seemed to become nothing but the root of their very existence.

These were values that seemed to not only echo amongst a selected crowd of sorcerers, but the rest of the population too. Right from their early days of training until they'd fulfilled their duty upon death. At the thought, a sardonic smile stretched across his lips. How very gallant, Ziggy noted to himself. Or reckless.

These were the beliefs and principles that sorcerers were conditioned to live by. Became their very reasons to too — principles so deeply ingrained within their personalities, it was almost tragic, Ziggy thought. Soldiers... no, machines programmed to unquestioningly abide by orders given. Programmed to give up their lives… for what exactly?

Because, weren’t curses humans too? Human-made at least. So were babies. Both species were warring against each other for a spot in this world. A place to belong. Aah, all beautiful thoughts — typical of anyone who claimed to be human, really. Thoughts that’d ironically lead them to their own demise... perhaps. Events of destruction and travesty were inevitable at least. They’d never learn, would they? It’d be just another repetition of history. Nothing the dimension hopper hadn’t seen before. It was the same across every Universe he’d visited.

Lightly pondering, the purple-haired creature leaned back in his chair, one leg crossed over the other, foot bouncing in anticipation for what was going to happen next. It was all too wicked, wasn't it? Languidly stretching his arms over his head, his mind briefly wandered to the bunny. Eeeh, so what would she do this time with the new life he’d granted her?

I saw a pic of these retro fm radio headphones from 1969 (the panasonic rf-60) on twitter (source <-here) that are like in a OTT retro tech sort of way. the radio antennas on it look fun and cumbersome to deal with.

I wanted to draw a character wearing them so now here's my oc, Zoah wearing them. (+ some cool alts I accidentally made by mucking around with the colours.)

cringetober day 24 (mlp). another old ass oc, this time for mlp <3 she was originally a character i made to be my 'own' main 6 (being the 'twilight' of the group) yeeeeaaarrrs ago but when i was in an edgy phase i rewrote/redesigned her to be more edgy and to have a 'darker' backstory lol.

i toned it down a bit but i liked her being a bit edgy...

Ideas for Dimension-Hopping/Traveling OCs

One: Dimension Hoppers don’t need to be humans. Just think about the sheer culture shock different species could have and the struggle in the Multiverse’s corners. So many universes have humans affecting things, or (us) them surviving crazy disasters by a hair! How can a species be this lucky to not go extinct?

Think of how unnerving it might be to see these apes, who live on a planet trying to kill them, be in universes when your species doesn’t exist. At least not anywhere else so far! I imagine it would be especially stressful if drop-points tended to leave them on Earth somewhere. Or different species from universes where humans don’t exist (anymore). Seeing an MLP:FiM Changeling find out what humans are—Hylians finding this race so similair yet different to them (being mistaken for elves). So much potential.

Mobians (Sonic’s World Inhabitants) thinking they are just on the human’s world and trying to find GUN representatives. People either think they are mutated animals or aliens asking for weapons. Them carrying rings with them. ^_^

Two: Dimension Hoppers/Travelers that come from vastly different Earths. I don’t mean “Oh it’s 1987 back home”, I mean, Japangaea from One Punch Man. Can you imagine how blown their mind would be to see places with more than twenty-six cities? People from Attack on Titan seeing humans not hidden by walls. Plus all the different languages most universes might not have. They cannot all speak English. (Japanese, Spanish, French, Chinese, German.)

Worlds like Fallout where there was Nuclear bombing across the world (I think). The cars there have mini-nuclear reactions inside their engines to power them! Plus the radiation, but imagine being from there then going to some-where WITHOUT any sort of mass radiation.

Okay… Coming from a world years behind the next or years ahead to the opposite. They will probably believe that they time traveled to an extent. Only for the past not to add up.

Three: Traveling to a dimension with magic, superheroes/super-powered individuals, or advanced tech. Can you imagine going to a world where magic is the main powersource? I know someone from our world would be amazed and so so so very confused. A mage (witch/wizard/sorcerer) might find themselves overwhelmed. Especially if there own world’s unmagical communities were less developed.

Picture this—you come from a world where superpowers are genetic meaning most people have them. Between you, your friend, and a few people also from there one of you don’t have one. Imagine going to a place where NOBODY has quirks (at least not yet) other people get by just fine without them. Would put into perspective how Quirkless people have less advantages or disadvantages. Most quirks have drawbacks from overusing them in general.

Advanced tech worlds most likely have their own number of problems. The resources are scarce/used up, AIs being so advanced they’re fighting to gain rights, pollution, etc… An OC from someplace that doesn’t have these issues might be an eye opener. Or reminder of simpler times to the advanced folk. Can you imagine being on WALL-E’s trash-filled Earth?

(I might add to this. But I hope it helps give others ideas for any original characters.)

Immediately getting self-indulgent by bringing up my post-canon-bill-redemption AU but I'm rotating this OC in my mind who's slowly gonna befriend him and thinking about this plot where they first meet because said OC collects information about different dimensions and Bill "literal millions of years old" Cipher starts to realize his now human mind simply cannot hold all his memories, especially the old ones, especially about his birth dimension that he both hates and misses. But despite the hatred he's at a point where he's terrified about forgetting it completely so he seeks out documented info about his old dimension from OC guy 👍 And as they meet and talk more often OC guy's like "yeah this dimension was destroyed like forever ago" and bill's like "oh wow thats weird and unfortunate haha". Anyway at one point he's tired of them bringing it up to him without knowing so he just drops that he was the one who destroyed it and immediately storms out the building and doesn't show up for two months because he's allergic to confrontations and unpacking things. But he does come back to adress that properly with them because he's getting better at it (as in he's not going to avoid things until he Literally Dies this time).
