Was talking back and forth with @bakewrite in the comments of my other prompts and this idea popped into my head and won't leave me alone I think @thedemonofcat did a similar prompt to this, about Geralt buying a book about caring for your companion (dog)? Can someone link that to me if they find it lol Geralt walks into a bookstore, and asks if they have anything on how to care for bards. The bookstore clerk has bad hearing, and mistakenly thinks this witcher is looking for a guidebook on how to care for birds. He has a copy of one, so he hands it over in exchange for a reasonable amount of coins, he thinks. Geralt meanwhile is pretty sure he was ripped off. Some of this stuff doesn't sound right.. But he doesn't know enough about normal humans - let alone BARDS - to truly disprove of anything. Some of it makes sense. It recommends to not clip their wings, unless their reckless flight could end up in them being injured. Geralt understands that one. He agrees, in a way. He would never restrict his Bard's freedom, but sometimes he must deny his bard a sexual conquest or party he wants to attend, in order to keep him safe from something or someone. Not even mentioning all the times a hunt is so dangerous he has to keep Jaskier safe at the inn, much to Jaskier's chagrin. It also recommends to feed them fresh fruits along with their seed. It must mean to give them some healthy vitamin-filled fruit alongside bread and other grain based foods, right? All of these sound well and good, but then there's also a chapter explicitly stating that albeit they love touch and petting, you mustn't touch their backs, or else they'll get aroused. Geralt has touched Jaskier's back along the years, he should've known better than to make Jaskier uncomfortable. But Jaskier never seemed angry? In fact, he seemed to enjoy whenever Geralt touched his b- Oh gods, Jaskier LIKES when he touches his back! But page 202 says you aren't to let them like when you touch their back! It also says not to let them be attracted to you, but Geralt wouldn't actually mind if his bard was attracted to him- He shouldn't keep thinking along this path. Its dangerous. It says they like shiny, colorful, and easy-to-destroy enrichment items, but Geralt's bard must be special, in that Jaskier loves shiny things and colorful things, but would prefer things to stay together. Then again, some of his clothing WAS quite delicate... They're very clean, they enjoy baths, and they love to preen. Yes, yes, he already knows this. Sometimes they bite when stressed? Odd, Jaskier hasn't bitten him when stressed. Perhaps he's one of the more docile bards... Bards more unruly than Jaskier... Now that's a terrifying thought. Jaskier starts mumbling in his sleep, and Geralt sets aside his book, tucking it into his bags. He'll hold onto his bard now, and finish his book tomorrow night.

I Love This Version of Sun Wukong

I'm not sure just how many movies there are featuring this version of Monkey King, but I noticed that he always treats kids so well it's honestly heartwarming and adorable to see. It's such a breath of fresh air to see this from a character like Monkey King.

Some examples: Monkey King helping DingDing put on his shoe (DingDing vs. The Monkey King), Monkey King helping one of the younger kids climb up his cudgel to join the others (Monkey King: Uproar in Heaven), and Monkey King comforting and grooming a baby monkey with no mother (From This Post).

I have no idea who was behind the design of this character, but they made this version of Monkey King so well and they made him very lovable. I also like how he pretty much stays in character no matter the movie, even if it's with different writers. Everyone seems to get what kind of character he is.

On top of that, his character traits in general really do match that of a monkey. He's caring (especially towards kids or younger monkeys), playful, and protective.

I definitely want to make a list of all movies I have seen so far with this version of Monkey King in it so I can share it with you guys. The problem is that I don't know what this design is called or if this design of the character even has a name. If you know, please let me know! Messages are always open.

Moonlight Mystique's intro song, "Flowers Fall With No Trace", is absolutely gorgeous. Sa DingDing's voice is out of this world. The way it slowly builds up until she starts the fast pace verse... I could listen to it all day.

We agree Ding Ding is named after the fact she either sounds or functions like a doorbell right? We also agree she, maybe unintentionally, functions as an ESA for Noir to help in dealing with his trauma after EVERYTHING.

This is one of the most beautiful albums I have ever heard, and it's largely due to Sa Dingding's origins. Being half Han Chinese and half Mongolian, she creates music that's evidently influenced by ethnic minorities in China. "The Coming Ones" includes traditional music from southwest China, more specifically from Tibet, and features the participation of The Hmong Choir from Yunnan. If you are interested in listening to something spiritual, this is for you.

Hi. :) I'm not sure if it's right question to ask here, but I think it's related to Kokia enough, so maybe you will know the answer, because I tried to find any info and failed... :( It's about song "Hoshi no Keiji" to that chinese game "Shan Hai Jing Hua". I know Kokia sung both japanese and chinese version, but there is also chinese version with vocal by Sa Dingding... Do you maybe know why? I can't find why they recorded also version with Sa Dingding on vocal. If you don't know, it's fine. ;)

I was actually unaware of a different version of Hoshi no Keiji, so that's something new I learnt! I have been looking around, but unfortunately, from the sources I can find and read, I cannot find an explanation for a version by Sa Dingding. I did find what looked like an official channel for the game uploading her version, but again without any sort of disclaimer or explanation.

I am almost tempted to say they asked a Chinese singer to also perform the song because the game is Chinese, but that is purely my own guess.

I hope it's okay for me to publish your question, so maybe someone else can chime in with the definite answer!

I just finished the first part and am actually enjoying it more than expected. I don't care for the leads but they don't bother me either.
