While it wouldn’t have been fun to play, it would have been funny as hell if Emily or Corvo (whoever you’re playing as) had returned from Karnaca in Dishonored 2 to discover Delilah has actually already been dealt with because Daud heard she was back, went “After all the effort I went through to get rid of you? Absolutely the fuck not,” and has been trying to off her the entire time. I know this wouldn’t work because of the whole ‘she needs to have her soul returned to her before she can be killed’ thing, but listen.

Listen.

It would be so funny.

Emily or Corvo’s just working so hard on Serious Business over in Karnaca and truly learning of the mistakes that have been made in how the Empire has been governed lately and growing as a person... and meanwhile Daud’s over in Dunwall breaking into the Tower again trying more and more complicated ways to dispose of this woman as he gets more and more frustrated. He might not be an assassin anymore, but by golly, when he deals with someone they stay dealt with. Now get back in the painting, witch!

Whatever the reason, the Outsider is having a grand old time not telling any of his Marked what the others are doing, this is entertaining as heck.

Bonus points: Daud made port in Dunwall just as Emily or Corvo shipped out.

OK so i think i said once that i wanted the outsider to take corvo’s place, and i thought a fun way of getting there was making the outsider be some servant at dunwall tower that becomes friends with emily. Maybe she escapes her classes to play with him in secret, and eventually he winds up helping her with subjects she doesn’t understand, etc.

I was thinking of maybe placing Curnow as royal protector? Not entirely sure yet, but i really like the Emily-Outsider dynamic so i’ll just figure it out for the sake of these two beloveds! Also, no, i still don’t know what name to give the Outsider in this version of him since he’s technically just a regular human. These are the times when i wish there was some general fandom consensus on what his name was to spare me the awkwardness of giving him one myself, but oh well XD

I also feel like mentioning that, since the Outsider takes Corvo’s place as the marked one in this case, it’d be pretty fucked up for a 15 year old to get framed for the murder of the empress and abduction of her daughter and be sent to coldrige prison. He’s a freaking teenager. Maybe he gets some shared responsibility with Curnow, if i did just slap him into royal protector? I dunno. Still, food for thought. Hope anyone reading this enjoys my rambling on this two year old swap au that is slowly but surely going somewhere XD

two years ago i played cyberpunk and got a terrific idea of making a crossover with dishonored with the outsider being a human whose consciousness was turned into a know-it-all program and corvo who’s trying to be the best dad with a motorcycle ever after the assassination of jessamine aka the former ceo of some kind of big fancy company

so here we are two years later at the point where i remembered about all of this and decided to make it everyone’s problem

How do the loyalist feel watching this man jump as high as the buildings, teleport, eat rats AND pop out from a rat. Really and truly I want to know what Piero thinks. For the servants I'd imagine they're pretty good at just disassociating and ignoring strange things by now.

People like Piero and Sokolov though, they strive for understanding and are disciplined in their practices. I know the outsider likes to taunt but how cryptic..
