🐾 My spoiler free review of Cruella: ⁣ ⁣ This movie was a wild ride to say the least, and it wasn’t AT ALL what I was expecting. I don’t think the trailer did it justice. ⁣ ⁣ ♥️ What I thought we were getting: a sad origin story about how poor hard-working Cruella became “Evil Cruella.” ⁣ ⁣ 🖤 What we got instead: An unhinged story about a wild girl who has had “Evil Cruella” inside her the whole time. ⁣ ⁣ It was cheesy, funny, emotional, adventurous, scandalous, and dramatic. There were some cute easter eggs alluding to the original animation. The addition of some really fabulous characters truly helped the film. AND THE FASHION. MY GOODNESS THE FASHION. ⁣ ⁣ However, there were a couple plot holes that had me making this face 🤔. Oh, and the CGI sucked for some reason? Didn’t Disney JUST make an entirely realistic-looking CGI Lion King movie?! Guess Cruella didn’t have the budget for that kind of treatment? ⁣ ⁣ 🐾 Anyway, overall, I really enjoyed it! Definitely go see it in a theater if you can do so safely. Otherwise, it’s totally worth the Disney+ Premier Access! ⁣ ⁣ Have you seen it?
