HAAAAAHHAAAAA....I’m already so about this. 

SO, this family is quickly becoming one of my faves because they are legit so real and amazing and they don’t take any ish and I LOVE IT.

Like we all knew Pocahontas wasn’t going to follow orders. Like just don’t give this girl orders. She will not follow them. 

So she just goes to the meeting.

And the actual contents of the meeting are something I’m not fully going to get into because obviously there’s a lot more to be revealed/discussed on this matter and that’ll just require more issues.

BUT IT INVOLVES JOHN SMITH.

WELCOME NEW PLAYER. 

I have a lot of thoughts and feelings about his character from the film and I have them here as well. Like omg. 

I’m already dying from Kocoum’s dislike for him. Already dyinggggg.

And then Pocahontas legit just called him out at the meeting and I just don’t know how to feel. Wrong time? Sure. BUT GIRL IS SO PASSIONATE ABOUT HER FAMILY AND I LOVE ITTTT. 

Now I can’t wait for their interaction.

MY HAPPINESS CANNOT BE CONTAINEEEEEDDD.

Like I love my angst. I love it. It is my bread and butter.

But I also love my fluff. I love it to the moon and back. And we haven't had a truly fluffy issue in what feels like forever.

SO HERE'S THIS ISSUE, COMIN IN CLUTCH.

 I can't with it, honestly. Every part of it makes me smile.

I love Nani and Lilo talking about bad mouthing Aurora and how Nani has to kind of admit it's probably not the best to do. I love Nani complaining to Esme and vice versa all while Lilo is on the quest for her next meal.

 I LOVE TIANA AND LILO. I LOVE THEM.

 For everyone Lilo has met so far, her sarcasm and indifference has really shown. But I feel like with Tiana she has found true kindred spirit (there's my Anne of Green Gables slipping through the cracks again) and it's so cute.

 Like Lilo legit just took her food and Tiana was frustrated but understanding and they really seem like they could continue to get along.

 But my oh my oh my.

 We have Tiana and Shang. TIANG.

They have quickly become some of my ultimate faves in this comic. And I feel like they really are starting to become comfortable with each other. Like she asked him to walk in the halls with her!!! And he joked that she pulls strings for him!!!

AND HE LOST IT WHEN SHE TOUCHED HIS ARM!!!!!! HE LOST IT. AND LILO CALLED HIM OUT ON IT.

And friggty friggg friggg on the looks they give each other and their proximity. Like I'm in full blown ship mode. Don't even care

Please spazz with me because I'm not over these two yet.

this was kind of everything i needed...but i still need more

So this issue took me a long time to figure it out because there’s so much that needed to be said but also needed to be in character.

And it was such a fine balance but I THINK it turned out okay! 

Because this is the first real discussion we’ve gotten to see of Ariel and Naveen’s relationship where Naveen is actually speaking on it and expressing his feelings. 

And it’s really painful and complicated to see but...i kind of love it???

Idk, it makes so much sense that Esme would be the one to listen (which we know now is a huge thing for Naveen) but also still hold him accountable for what he’s done.

Clearly Naveen has some severe relationship issues but Esme was so thoughtful of it and actually seemed interested in how he became the kind of guy he is now in relation to relationships and just....IDK I LOVED THIS CONVO AND I WANT MORE. Like I really want to delve farther into Naveen’s psyche cause he has a lot to say. 

AND MAYBE ALSO EXPLAIN THAT ENDING. WHAT. WHAT ESME. WHAT NAVEEN. WHAT’S UP WITH MY DARLING ALADDIN??? 

Okay comic general update notes below: 

So this is the first issue that’s being posted on my new schedule. I am now posting every other Sunday at 8:30 PM EST (kind of failed on the actual time today but I”ll get there). So, the next issue will be up on 11/26. So far so good!!

IT’S BEEN SO LONG....but i’m back to the angst i love. 💙

I have felt so far away from this comic. I’m finally through extension busy season and can rest easy for a couple months and that’s just beautiful. 

And that’s why we are back to this.

I missed this....right?

No, but in all seriousness, this was a nice issue to return to. 

Because I love these two. I LOVE THESE TWO. I would designate these two in my will if I could.

Golly, can Jack and Esme get any better? No, they can’t. CAUSE THEY’RE THE BEST. 

I’m really love how Jack gets Esme coffee to start off the whole thing and then gives “advice” on her “love life”. It’s just 👌

And then Esme brings up the board meeting (which I’m actually kind of glad about because I was starting to forget too! Like Jack is on the bath to expulsion still. Golly....I had nearly pushed it completely out of his mind). 

And look at him! He doesn’t want to go. He doesn’t want to leave this school just 4 months ago he couldn’t stand.

And do you know why? DO YOU? 

i’m so DONE. 

And then Esme gives her advice on said reason to stay!!!!!

Yeah, I’m all over this issue and I’m okay with it. 

And it looks like the next one will just bring me more of the pain I desire so YAY. 

Did you miss this? I missed this.

This issue hit me like a ton of bricks. Like wow. This one was painful. 

I’ve been really wanting to get back to Mulan and get a fuller picture of her disagreement with her father and this just blew it wide open. 

It’s hard to say that I completely disagree with Fa Zhou since we don’t know everything about this task force but from Mulan’s reaction, this has torn this family apart. I mean the fact that it almost killed him (....whoa) is enough to know that him going back is huge.

And I feel so bad for Mulan because she truly loves her family so much. She wants to make them proud. She wants to support them. She wants to bring them honor. 

And yet as she’s trying to convey that and begging her dad not go, she’s told she is doing just the opposite and is disappointment to the family. After she’s given so much of herself this year and is now having to give anymore.

And then she turns to Al. The guy she’s depended on for so much.

And she’s so sorry. 

And she’s pouring out her heart. 

Like we legit know that Mulan feels for Aladdin just as much as he felt for her (omgggggg. i love them so much.. so muchhhh) 

But it doesn’t matter. 

And then there’s freakin Vanessa.

Freakin Vanessa. 

And Al too. 

And I’M DONE.

i’m doneeeeee. 

the next issue better be lighthearted because i cannot do this anymore, i swear.

WE HAVE A LOT TO DISCUSS. 

Note: If you are at all confused by the ending, read the description below. 

I’ve concluded that we can’t have more than three issues in a row without some angst. Like it’s not possible. It just finds a way in. 

SO HERE WE ARE AGAIN.

Dear god my love for these two knows no bounds. HOW DOES ONE GET A SUPPORTIVE BEAST LIKE THESE TWO. 

Like even though Kristoff is really frustrated, he’s there sitting with Belle. And even though Belle is beside herself, she’s still able to apologize and be so thankful for having him there. And I love that. I love that so much. 

But mmmm......

it kind of fell off in the end. 

Like a lot.

Like Kristoff really is angry. Like truly. 

He’s dealing with knowing her feelings and she has no inclination to tell him and (for whatever reason....) that is eating away at him.

And I totally get that. 

But I also get Belle being in a whole other world right while waiting to see her very sick and/or injured dad. 

But I feel like they are close to a tipping point and I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was excited. I’M JUST READY FOR EVERYTHIN’ TO BE IN THE OPEN GOLLY GEE. 

and then that ending. 

i just need to take a step back.

SO, for anyone who is confused with the ending, here we go: 

This is a crossover comic and many characters have parents/siblings/relatives, etc. who are not in their respective films 

As such, Flynn and Belle’s parents are not any of the parents from their respective films (as Flynn didn’t have any and Belle’s father in her movie is their grandfather in the comic) 

That is not Tarzan in the picture. It’s Flynn.

The two adults in the picture (who are the parent’s of Tarzan in Tarzan) are indeed the Ryder parents 

I don’t want anyone to be confused since there literally is not supposed to be a mystery in relation to this so there we go. 

and now i want to SCREAM. OMG.
