The priests of Amun’s cult center at Karnak were dedicated to her service, and she was depicted in various forms, but most commonly as a woman wearing the Red Crown and carrying a staff of papyrus. Amunet’s legacy endured even in the Ptolemaic period, where she was syncretized with Neith, yet she remained a distinct deity in the eyes of Egyptians. Today, she is celebrated as a “primordial goddess” and a part of Ancient Egypt's rich cultural and religious heritage.
