walking down the street during diwali season is literally free therapy. seeing the beautifully decorated houses, hearing people laugh and giggle as they welcome their friends, watching little kids jump with joy as they light a fuljhadi and young people embrace their ethnic outfits as they deck up to visit family, it's just the most wholesome time of the year. no matter how hard the year has been, it's impossible not to look forward to diwali week. it's nostalgic and healing and everything in between. it's the memories of your childhood and the hopes for your future. it's every good moment you have every spend with your family. it's everything. 💌
