i was tagged by @sickest-saddest-worldliest to post ten songs from my misspent youth. keep in mind i have no idea what counts as 'youth' and that i started djing professionally when i was 15 so... this could be all over the place

my life with the thrill kill kult was my introduction to the merged world of sex and horror and here i sit today

Now I’m curious, do you think you could do some headcannons for ShadowStriker and her s/o sharing a apart with Soundwave and Hotrod (it reminds me of a stupid funny sitcom)

Only Soundwave can cook in this fucking house. Hot Rod can only re heat shit (and no, he won’t use the fucking oven like an adult), and Shadowstriker gets too pissed to finish one fucking meal. Once lemon juice got in her eye and she threw the table out the window. It hit someone. It’s okay, it was just Shockwave.

Hot Rod’s main job is pod casts, so he spends a lot of time either bugging his roommates, or being out and about doing stupid shit. It’s annoying, but it’s not a bad gig, makes him flexible in his schedule.

Soundwave does music stuff. Being a DJ, making his own music and beats; its a very good job that he loves. He’s quite private about it, only having other’s listen to it if they ask.

Shadowstriker does body guard/ bouncer jobs. It means she can be gone just for a night, or for a couple days. It’s a hella decent job, all things considered.

Soundwave and Hot Rod are fairly good roommates, only being slightly annoying, but you have caught them doing the do on the sofa. It’s always Hot Rod’s fault.

Movie nights once or twice a week is a roommate ritual. Shadowstriker picks action movies, but not the shitty ones by Michael Bay. Hot Rod likes comedies, and Soundwave likes anything with good music. Warning, if a movie has an ear worm in it, he will play it for like a week straight.

Shadowstriker can be a bit annoying of a roommate, because of her anger issues, and the fact that she works out like, all the time. It’s hot, but it kinda gets annoying after a while, mainly when she’s trying to do chin ups in the doorway.

Hot Rod can, and has, walked into your room at 2am to offer you a hot pocket. You had to text Soundwave to get him back into bed.

Hot Rod never does the fucking dishes. It essentially you and Soundwave.

Shadowstriker and Soundwave are the handymen of you guys. Soundwave is better at electronics, Shadowstriker is better at kitchen appliances.

Soundwave does the groceries. Hot Rod did it once, bought so many chicken strips.

Soundwave is the one most likely to be asleep on the couch. He works hard.

Don’t pet Lazerbeak. She doesn’t give a shit about you, only Soundwave. Polly don’t want a cracker, she wants you to piss off.

Still Single / Heathen Disco 2020 End of Year Recap

I guess I’m back! I started gingerly dipping back over into Tumblr to publish some reviews as a means of cutting through all the bondage photos and anime screencaps and people still living on Tumblrs (shout out to anyone still Tumblin', it's alright). I also redoubled my efforts to do great radio shows, and that seems to bother some of you enough to unsubscribe, but I'm feeling great about all that. Those 5-6 reviews on here actually turned up worthwhile music in my PO box, so thanks to those who submitted.

This was gonna be the year I reintroduced myself to the world. Don't make plans like that. Things are a lot better now than I thought they'd be, and the time I burnt up on movies and self-reflection this year was probably more needed than another DJ gig or whatever. Radio sustained me, I will freely admit, and finding records out in the wild once shops reopened was really killer too.
