Feels weird when I see the likes of Willow and Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies referred to as Lost Media cause I always associate the term with shows like Doctor Who, whereby Lost Media is literal in that 'neither the fans nor the BBC knows where most of the missing episodes are, and The Feast of Steven probably doesn't exist any more and is unlikely to ever be watched again', rather than 'everybody knows exactly where the fuck they are, the multimillion dollar companies simply refuse to release them from hostage'.

Lost media alert!
In the Doctor Who episode Blink, there are a number of DVDs for fake movies:
A list of nine fake titles used in the episode was included on the "Banos DVDs" section of the defunct Doctor Who website:
Breakfast in the Rain
Dance of Days
Civilization Zero
Angel Smile
Falling Star
One Oak Country
My Best Friend's Boyfriend
Mean Teens
Shooting the Sun
The DVD covers were also included, but only one was successfully archived!
I found only two more covers from a different Doctor Who website:
Did anyone happen to save these images?
Blink is the most famous episode of Doctor Who and these glorious stock photo DVD covers deserve to be preserved!

On Doctors and Donnas and not quite going home again
I never mean to quit Doctor Who. And I never mean for it to become my whole personality. I just cycle through one and then the other every few years.
After intending to still watch after Clara left…I didn’t. And then I kept meaning to check in on Thirteen…and didn’t.
I wasn’t even going to watch the new episode tonight until I was struck with this all consuming I MUST WATCH. I was going to keep my distance and hold the show accountable for what it did to Donna and how I’m still mad.
…but nope. This show did its little thing it does to me and I’m back, baby!

my dearest grinchheads, we have returned. We have not returned emptyhanded, as we have a significant lead in our search. Before disclosing said lead, we find it important to emphasize that in our absence, we did not grow bored of this search. It has been a trying few years, and this search has taken us to some wild places, some of which we weren't able to update on here on this blog. Without further ado, we have found the active youtube account of who we believe to be the original artist and creator behind the blenda character. We have requested an interview with the suspected artist that we would no doubt post here, for you grinchheads to sink your teeth into. If we do not update again, presume us dead, or still in search of the elusive blenda. Until then stay strong, stay vigilant my grinchheads.
-hoops and J,
grinchheads inc.
