Life is so unfair sometimes, this is definitely a painful feeling that I wasn’t expecting to experience. I want to send a very heartfelt thank you to @samaritananimalhospital for demonstrating the empathy and sympathy that you shared with me today as I laid my baby boy for his final nap. Thank you for taking care of him and for showing us the love you have shown us as a member of your extended family. There’s such an emptiness in my heart it’s unbearable. Loosing a pet, is probably not the biggest deal but loosing my Jorge yesterday was one of the hardest things I’ve been through. I’ve cried all night, and woke up in tears. I know it’ll eventually get better but god does it hurt.

Words cannot express my gratitude for your kindness to me over the last couple days as my Mini Schnauzer Violet entered immortality on Monday. Can’t believe it’s already been a week since you’ve been gone. Everyday gets a tiny bit easier, some days are better than others. You were a good, crazy pupper. Never realized the significance of this photo I took until after. In true Bobby manner it took me like 3-4 tries to take a decent photo of him. Lol. This was taken August 18, this was the day he began showing signs of being sick. At least we were able to get one good final walk in before it all went downhill.
