Sir Terence David John Pratchett, known to all of us as Sir Terry Pratchett. Was an english author, humorist, satirist and novelist. Best known for his work such as good omens, Discworld, night watch and many more. Sir Terry Pratchett was the UK's best- selling author of the 90s.

The good omens series was Sir Terry Pratchett's dying wish to Neil gaiman, he wrote Neil a letter, in the letter he told Neil to make the tv adaptation of good omens. Unfortunately he passed away before he ever got a chance to see it. He will always be part of the good omens series, his hat and scarf is in the show, and so is his spirit.

Forty Days of Frankenstein, Day Seventeen: As I swim in the flow of the endless Frankenstein river, I rejoice in what comes to me, and save what interests me, and move on.  It’s the nature of the Internet to be emphemeral—here today, gone tomorrow.  So it is with tonight’s Frankenstein.  I snagged it many years ago when the World Wide Web was younger.  It’s an illustration from 1989 retelling of the Frankenstein story, illustrated by an artist named Paul Nobles, and designed as a learning aid for Chinese-speaking English second-language learners.  The book had English and Chinese on facing pages.  Today, I can’t find so much as a hint on the web that the book had ever even existed.  It might as well be something that fell through a portal into our world from an alternate dimension.  Anyhow, our Monster here seems to be dressed in an anachronistically modern way, but I like the lightning strikes in the background, and the way that the Monster examines his hands in puzzlement at what he’s done to the body at his feet.  For all that I’ve never accidentally murdered someone, I understand his perpetual bafflement at the way the world works.  Me too, buddy.  Me, too:

Happy Saturday! Another scene from Ransom for a Dead Man (Columbo, 1971) -a few images and a short video of Pattye as Margaret Williams- her best known tv credit.
