omg so i watched am13 get subbed off and then decided to watch some more history... ie dt breaking the scoring record in 2017... every past game i watch i always check the score before i start... checking the end score [59-90] did not prepare me for the disaster class that was the first quarter of that game [and i stopped watching at the half] ... can't say i wasn't entertained tho

the team they played was la.. at the time it had candace parker, chelsea gray, nneka ogwumike, and alana beard [the number 2 draft pick in 2004- that was the year dt went #1]

it was like watching the 2024 post break merc the way they weren't playing defense/committing stupid fouls/turning the ball over [there was one bad call but]

they put la in the bonus by like the 5th minute

la started the game on a 15-0 run in the fist 2 minutes and 40 seconds, ending the quarter 38-17

dt had 3 personal fouls and one [very clear] technical foul by the 5th minute and sat the rest of the quarter. this is what she means when she say "i like getting technicals"

i don't know what sandy told them at the break but it was enough to have a decent second [when dt broke the record] and based on box scores after they won the 2nd, they lost the 3rd and 4th but not at all by the margin of the first

it's wild to think that since 2017 only one other player has passed tina thompson 7488, and that was this year [tina charles, we literally just watched this game]

the var was reviewing possible dogso (which it was) took them 8 min to not call it when it really should not have taken that long considering it was pretty obvious and its supposed to be clear and obvious and if youre taking that long than its not clear and obvious enough to change that call (but it was so they should have changed the call)

officiating has been HORROR, only yellow for the sheffield keeper for blatantly handling the ball outside his box (was dogso also as deki was one on one with him) and not being booked for timewasting and no pen for the foul on madders and only 3 mins extra time?

中野嘉大からのボールをシャドーの小川慶治朗が二度決めて2-0といういわば「危険なスコア」で後半に入って、疲労から足が止まりがちになってきた横浜に対して、藤枝は左サイドにウェンデルを投入。早いクロスからニアに入られて1点差に詰め寄られる。

明らかに嫌な流れを断ち切ったのは右WB山根永遠の実にクレバーなプレーだった。これで非常に楽にゲームを進めることができるようになった横浜は終盤に交代出場の室井彗佑が天皇杯に続き、リーグ戦での横浜移籍後初ゴールを決めて3-1とし試合を決めた。

横浜は、GK市川、DF岩武(75分)、ンドカ(45分)、福森、MF山根、ユーリ・ララ、井上潮音、中野嘉大(49分)、FWカプリーニ、小川慶治朗(71分)、髙橋利樹(49分)

というメンバー。()内は水曜日の天皇杯出場時間、慶次朗、カルロスは早めに足が止まる可能性もあり、カプリーには怪我がち、であり、前三枚は早めに交代カードをきる可能性があるが、ソロモン、透馬、室井も出場時間が長い、なかなか難しいマネジメントが四方田監督には課せられていた。

そこへ持ってきて試合開始直前のメンバー交代。すでにガブリエウを負傷で失っている横浜最終ラインだが、タケがアクシデントで拓海が代わりにスタメンとなった。天皇杯で120分戦った拓海がスタメンで出るというスクランブルである。

こういう試合はとにかく先制点が必要、そしてできるだけ楽に試合を進めなければ消耗は横浜のほうが当然大きい。幸い試合展開は横浜が一方的にボールを支配する展開、ユーリがボールを刈り取り、シオンは中盤でボールを失わない、両サイドの永遠と中野も動きは良い。

だがゴールは奪えない。こういう流れ嫌だな、と思っていた20分、左サイドでボールを受けた中野がフェイントで相手を置き去りにしてマイナスのクロスを上げる、これにニアで反応した慶次朗が3年ぶりのゴールを決める。

さらに24分、カプリーニのクロスをファーで中野が落とすと慶次朗がまたも飛び込んでゴール！早い時間に2-0とした。

藤枝は選手の距離が遠く、プレスの意識も低いので、横浜が自由につなげる時間帯が多い。早めに3点目が欲しかったが、その後は試合が動かず、前半は2-0。よくいわれる、危険なスコア、だ。

後半メンバー交代はなしで開始、左サイドにウェンデルを投入した藤枝の動きに横浜がついていけない。51分、スピードにあふれるウェンデルのオーバーラップからクロス、ニアで合わされるとイチは何もできない。ディフェンダーは人にはついていたが、ボールにはいけなかった。これで1点差、嫌な流れ。

しかし次冒頭の事案が発生する。54分、ボールを奪って前を向いたカプリーニがどう仕掛けるか、という横浜のゴールデンパターン、ここで右を走る永遠へパス、永遠はGK内山が飛び出してきたのを見て前に大き蹴る、ボールをクリアに行った内山と永遠が工作し永遠が倒れる。内山に提示されたカードは赤。残り時間、10人となる藤枝、さらに怖かったシマブクを下げて4-4-1にしたが、その後3-3-3となった藤枝。ウェンデルのサイドアタックも封じられる形となる。プレーも荒くなりイエローカードが2枚提示される。

69分、慶次朗→室井、カルロス→ソロモン、カプリーニ→透馬と前線総とっかえ。相手が少なくなったことで運動量も少なくて済み、ここまで交代を引っ張れた永遠のプレーは狡猾だったかもしれないが勝利のためには不可欠なプレーだった。

82分中野→三田、透馬が左WBにタマがシャドーに入る。

84分試合を決めるゴール。永遠が右サイドを抜けてクロスを送ると相手のディフレクションに反応した室井とGKの1v1、落ち着いてGKの股を抜いた室井の横浜でのリーグ戦初ゴールで試合は決まった。直後にはしおんに代えて和田を投入して、試合を終わらせる。

こういう難しい試合で、選手の判断でDOGSOを呼び込み、楽な展開で終わらせることができたのは収穫。

ディフェンスラインがガブリエウに続き、タケが抜けたことで、拓海の出番は増えると思う。しっかりチャンスをモノにしてほしい、そして、バックアップのCBはチャンスなのでしっかりアピールしてほしい。
