Carry Me Out

In which you and Satoru realize you don't know what to get Megumi for his birthday, and in which Satoru comes up with a simple way on how to know.

Third drabble, could be read stand alone again! Sorry this took so long to get out! Almost 2,000 words! This has been a work in progress for a while, and to be honest, I have no idea why I finished it. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!

Megumi’s birthday was coming up.

You’ve been there for two of his birthday’s, but this year, he was turning ten. Obviously, this was a very big deal for you and Satoru.

The problem you are facing is that when the two of you asked what he had wanted, Megumi just shrugged and told you that he wanted what he would normally get. (Which since being under the care of Satoru, was pretty much a mix of money, books, toys, candy, or other things Megumi was interested in. Sometimes he asks for things for his dogs, so treats, balls and chew toys will occasionally be added to the pile.)

So, a week before the day of your adopted son’s birth, you and Satoru held a private meeting between the two of you to brainstorm.

“I think he said he wanted monster high dolls. And some pokemon cards, as well as a disk copy of that latest Teenage Mutant Ninja turtle iteration. Also, a day spent looking at candy shops.” your ever-so-helpful boyfriend was lying down across the length of your shared bed.

You hit him with one of your pillows as you paced around, anxiously tapping a pen onto a notepad. “Satoru, those are all things you want.” you paused, thinking a bit for a little. “But actually, I will put monster high dolls down. I think I caught him staring at the Sweet 1600 Clawdeen the last time we went to Target.” You jotted a few notes and then looked back at Satoru.

His arms were settled behind his head and his eyes were closed, his sunglasses placed on his bedside table. Satoru still smiled as he confidently whispered, “See, I’m helpful.”

You rolled your eyes and groaned before you flopped down next to him, face first. Satoru began rubbing small circles onto your back and you turned your head to look at him. His blue eyes stared back into yours, which was slightly alarming and caught you way off guard.

“I know this is super important, but you should take it down a notch. It’s not good for your skin.” You sighed.

“Satoru, it's Megumi’s 10th birthday. Two digits! My skin doesn’t matter as much as him having a good birthday.” He pulled you closer to him and he pressed a kiss onto the top of your head.

“Okay, you know what? I’ll talk to him. Maybe, all he wants for his birthday is some quality time with daddy, the strongest sorcerer and man in the whole wor-”

Satoru wasn’t able to finish his sentence before a pillow hit him in the face and you were out of the room.

Satoru decided that the best way to get answers is to catch Megumi off guard.

So, he was going to do something he hadn't ever done before- pick him up from school. At first, he had left it up to Nanami to drive his kids around, but pretty soon it was you who took up that spot.

He had to admit, something about watching three of the people he loved most come crashing through his front door, all in a mess to shed off school related things just to get a snack quickly, warmed his heart up in way’s he figured would never be possible.

Satoru leaned onto his (expensive) car door, arms crossed in front of his chest, a smirk on his lips as he greeted other random parents who were also waiting for their kids.

The sun was beating down pretty bright onto his face, extra bright from the reflecting of the white snow all over the ground, so even with his sunglasses he almost missed the school doors opening. But, he did have his six eyes and multiple other powers that allowed him to doge the punch Megumi had thrown at his knees.

“Why are you here?” Megumi went in for another swig and a kick, but Satoru picked him up before he could. Megumi squirmed as his dad placed a wet kiss on his cheek.

“I’m here to pick you up! Aren’t you so happy?”

“Dad!!!”

“Tsumiki!!!”

Satoru placed down Megumi so he could sweep up his daughter, who was running right at him, matching huge smiles on both of their faces.

“What are you doing here? Is everything okay?”

“Everything is great, ‘Miki. Just figured you guys would want to see my face a little sooner than normal.”

Tsumiki giggled as Satoru pressed a bit more of a softer kiss onto her face.

“All right, let's get in the car and go home! Snacks are waiting for you.” He set Tsumiki down in the back seat, buckling her in and then patting her shoulder. Satoru shut the door and then jogged to the other side of the car where Megumi was struggling to reach the door handle and get in.

Satoru opened the door and smiled at him, but Megumi just scowled and climbed up, using all of his strength to get in the seat and buckle himself. The drive started quiet, the jolly holiday music softly playing from the stereo.

“So…. Megumi. Your birthday’s coming up, isn’t it? Is there something you would like?” Satoru looked at his son through the rearview mirror.

Megumi grumbled something, too low for even his sister to catch.

“What was that, oh sweetest child of mine?”

“I said I want you to disappear.” Tsumiki gasped and Satoru tutted as he made a turn, getting closer to home.

“How about you make a list! All of the things you want, all on one paper! It would make both of your parents very happy!” Satoru’s sing song voice made Megumi scoff.

“Megumi! That is such a good idea!” Tsumiki spoke excitedly.

Megumi turned towards her fast while a smile grew larger on the dads face.

“We can work on it together! I’ll help you! Oh my gosh, this will be so much fun!” Megumi’s expression soured.

This, he thought, would not be fun.

You were doing dishes when you heard the loud crashing that walked through your front door. Wiping your hands on a towel, you walked over to find your family struggling to take off your boyfriend's shoe, the left one.

Well , Tsumiki was trying to help.

Megumi was repeatedly hitting Satoru in the leg with his small light up sneakers.

“You have big fat feet! Get out of my way!” You couldn't help but giggle as Megumi yelled at Satoru.

“Gumi, there’s hot chocolate on the table for you. How ‘bout you leave your dad alone for now, hmm?” Megumi’s eyes brightened despite his continued grumbling as he left Satoru standing, still struggling to get his shoe off.

“Is there one for me too?” Tsumiki perked up, stars surrounding her as she asked you that.

“Of course!” She yelled a quick hooray before running after her younger brother. You moved closer to your boyfriend as a pout settled onto his face.

“How did you even get your shoe stuck on?” Kneeling down, you laughed at him as you tried to loosen the laces a bit, tugging on a few places to help widen the hole that still was hugging his ankle.

“They must be older than I thought.” Satoru shrugged. “Are they always more happy to see hot chocolate than they are to see me?”

There was a slight hint of jealousy and pettiness in his tone, making this even more hilarious for you.

“Hey, stop laughing! This is a really serious situation!” The shoe you were pulling on popped off, making you fall back a bit. Before you really could though, Satoru attached one of his hands to the area just between the middle of your back and your waist.

“Oh! You got my shoe off! Thanks hun!” He pressed a kiss onto your cheek and then tugged you up, keeping you in place in front of him, still in the doorway. “Anyway, I had a genius idea! Megumi’s going to make a birthday list!" There was a pause that was filled with silence.

"Tell me that I’m a genius please.”

You snorted as a response to his need to inflate his ego. “That is smart, good job Toru.” You put your hand on his cheek and he seemed to snuggle into your palm as a smug smile grew on his lips.

“Do the kids have paper? You should probably get some down for them.” Your brows furrowed as you moved away from him (killing the moment in the process) and towards the dining table where both your son and daughter were nursing their hot drink as they watched Sofia the First on the tv Satoru set up on a portion of the huge kitchen counter.

You pressed a soft kiss on both of the tops of their heads before getting some markers and then sitting down besides them.

“Honey! I got the paper!” Satoru came back over to you guys, pressing a wet and loud kiss onto you and Tsumiki’s cheeks before getting hit in the face by Megumi.

“Stay away from me, old man.” Satoru’s expression turned from ecstatic into despair as he sat down in the chair next to you, his head finding home on your shoulder as he and his son engaged in a glaring match.

“Still salty, huh? You literally have hot chocolate!”

“I don’t enjoy seeing your face right when I get out of school. Don’t you think you've extended your stay here?”

“This is my house! And I’m on vacation. You will be as well, so prepare to see me even more!” Megumi stuck out his tongue which caused Satoru to huf and to bury his face more into your collarbone.

“Are you sure he deserves a good birthday?” He muttered to you. You pushed him off of you (which was a bit of a struggle) and slid the papers and markers to be in front of Megumi. He gave you the cutest confused look you have ever seen.

“It’s for your wish list sweet boy. You can write whatever you want on there.” He nodded, a little bit of blush colored his cheeks.

You could almost also think that he was excited.

Megumi handed his list to you after you had tucked him in and read him his favorite children's book about dogs. He didn't say anything when he did, so you took it with a thank you and an I love you.

You settled into your own shared bed with Satoru after you had done all of your nightly routines. The lamp from your bed side table was alight when you decided to read your son's list.

“So? Are his demands doable?” Satoru slid into the sheets beside you and pulled himself closer to you, wrapping one of his arms around your waist in the process.

“Most of them are. He is really good at making lists, it turns out.” Satoru hummed as you continued to skim through Megumi’s scribble writing. It was the second to last one there that made you pause.

A day with my family doing fun stuff.

The words were drawn on slightly lighter than the other items on the list.

He spelt doing with a b.

All of the letters were closer together and looped, as if he didn’t actually want you to see what he had written.

All of those things melted your heart for some strange reason.

“Hmmm. That was cute of him.” Satoru cuts through your thinking with his slightly teasing words. “Oh. look at the last one!”

And so you did, only to find a less sweet wish, but still as cute as the one before it.

Replace Satoru with a dog.

Oppy had just barely made it to Lilycove in time for the latest Hatsune Miku concert. She wandered around a bit, looking for the venue, until she saw her friend waving at her

Miku! She runs over, stopping herself from tackle-hugging her Good to see you ^u^

“Hey Oppy! I heard you got the badge from Fortree! Congratulations!” She beamed, raising a hand for a high five.

they high five, then Oppy brings out her badge case 6 now! Plus all my team except Celsius and Strelka evolved! Oppy's pokemon - Serperior, Gyrados, Cryogonal, Ninjask, Shedinja, Litwick, Metang, and Type: Null had followed her

“Hey, nice! I always wanted to try raising a Cryogonal. Never really worked out, unfortunately.”

Celsius is great! He's been carrying me through the gyms and having him around's great for the heat 

Oppy then sees a familiar orange shape watching them at a distance. Considering the fact that Miku was not looking in that direction, the orange man did not appear in her view.

“I can imagine. That’s why I have Ice Voltage, to be honest.”

Oppy’s phone buzzes Hm? She opens it (over Twystcord): it’s Top Man

Opportunity was that you in the concert hall?

Yeah. Why?

...hey here's an idea. Why don't you take your friend and go check out the department store or the shrine by the sea and don't be near the concert hall for a while, k?

She showed Miku Top Man’s conversation, and she opened her own DM with the Robot Master

Hey, uh. I saw that message. What’s going on exactly?

Well... Not sure if you saw the whole drama but I'm on slightly better terms with Opportunity now... the issue is, Dr. Wily now has someone in play who doesn't have that rapport, likes him a lot more than I do, and is a lot more dangerous in his practices... I don't want the kid getting hurt is all. I can't do anything to stop it, so I figured I'd at least warn her

Okay but like… I’ve got a concert tonight. Does it have to be tonight? Also you should totally come to one when you’re not working with a terrorist.

You have NO IDEA how much I want to be there and not with this bitter old fleabag and his drama. Also that was not up to me. I'm pretty sure Dr. Wily picked specifically tonight to make scene

Alright that makes things a lot more difficult because I can’t just. Not perform, I legally have to be there.

To be quite frank, Miku was just hoping that her being part Porygon didn’t ruin the whole First Law thing. Though it was the Second Law actually in this case (Wily had ordered this part of his operation be secret), but still, Top Man was able to manage something

She looked to Oppy,  clasping her hands together. “Alright, what do you say we have a shopping trip distraction?”

! Sure! That sounds great!

but as fate would have it (of course) Miku's phone said that the concert was starting - the two girls had lost track of time - and she couldn't leave until it was over

Miku sighed slightly, but nodded at her phone. Her body pulsed, and her hair turned purple, her eyes a dark crimson. “Dagnabbit, time.” She shifted back to her normal appearance, looking back to Oppy. “Nevermind, we’ve got Bowling For Soup playing opener right now so I have to be ready in 10.”

Oh... I'll be on the lookout! Do I watch from here or in the crowd? I've never been to one of these "^^

“You watch in the crowd! I’ll ask someone to guide you there!” Almost as soon  as she said that, a green haired girl entered through the door. She didn’t say much, simply waving to Miku with a smile and waving to Oppy with a surprised face.  “Melody! Great timing! Do you think you could show Oppy to the crowd?” Melody nodded, making a gesture towards Oppy to follow her.

Oppy went back with the crowd (still toward the front though) as the concert began. As the opening bands finished their last songs, the curtains drew back, and Miku arrived onstage to raucous applause. 

“How’s everyone doing tonight!”

More cheers. Miku grinned as she listened to the crowd.

“Sorry for the wait, a bit of a software issue! But I’m back now! Let’s get this started!”

While she couldn’t hear the specific call, she did hear it as part of the crowd. To be fair a lot of them were saying that exact same thing. “I love all of you too!” Music began, and she began her performance. She really seemed to be getting into it.

Right as one of her more popular numbers was reaching its head, the backup musicians began being attacked by... a Weavile?!

The music stopped almost instantly (to be fair, the backup musicians were for an acoustic cover of Hypocrite Justice they were going to do later), and Miku turned around in shock. She immediately rushed to the musician’s aid, changing to Fire Voltage as she ran.

“Get off of him!”

the Weavile's movements are strange, almost as if it was programmed to attack, and when it got close to Miku, she felt its surface was metallic. The Weavile tried to hit Miku with a Throat Chop, but it was parried by a large, thick, pink hand from behind her. Miku was… rather surprised to see the hand, looking back to see who owned it. How’d it get this far, she was on stage alone, wasn’t she? Looking next to her, she sees Oppy had somehow made her way onto the stage to protect her. She gives her a thumbs up with her non-shifted hand, then turns to the Weavile, who's still trying to cause as much damage as possible, this time attacking a fog machine, making it so the area is covered in mist and the audience has a hard time seeing what's going on. Miku, admittedly, was starting to panic a bit. She was a pop star, she was completely and utterly unqualified to handle this.

Wait hold on, fog machine! She could handle that at least.

She shifted to Flying Voltage, leaping across the stage before changing to Steel, making her much heavier in comparison. She may not have fancy attacks or anything, but she could protect her fans.

fortunately a Mystical Fire from Candela took out the Weavile

Phew... what was that? And who sent that thing?

“I don’t know…” Miku put her hand to her chin. The answer was incredibly obvious, but she wasn’t really made for thinking with Steel Voltage. She swapped to Psychic, and the answer hit her like a load of bricks. “Oh right yeah Wily.”

Almost as she realizes it, the other fog machine breaks, and a stage light almost falls on her. Oppy moves her out of the way, then the mist thins enough to see a strange, ninja-like robot put the metal Weavile in a pokeball - this was DWN-024, Shadow Man

“Aaaand this is exactly the guy I was expecting. Oppy? You might wanna run.”

Back to Steel Voltage she went. Oppy shifts a shield around herself but stays 

I'm gonna help too if you need it!

“That’s kind of the thing? I was also going to, I haven’t done anything like this before.”

Neither have I, really. The other guy didn't really want to be there so he didn't go all out like this guy, but I think we can beat him!

Shadow Man throws a Shadow Blade that strikes Oppy and she recoils, but isn't seriously hurt. Oh dear, oh no. He was attacking the kid. That wasn’t good. How was she supposed to take care of this guy!? 

Wait hold on… if she remembered right he wasn’t made with the others of that line… but he was still weak to Top Man’s weapon… which could only really mean…

And so, Hatsune Miku, the Cyber Songstress, threw her full body weight against a ninja.

Urgh- What are you doing?! He tries to launch a Shadow Blade, but misses by a longshot

“Good question!” She responded, charging forward more. Maybe Fighting Voltage would have been better, but she needed the extra weight considering the fact that her opponent was made of metal.

Miku then discovers she was pushing against a log - the real Shadow Man descended from above and struck her. To be fair, she was expecting something like that. Which is why she was in Steel Voltage. However, she did not remember that she was barely over 150 pounds with Steel Voltage active. Stupid pop star diets. She made her distaste for the situation known, extremely vocally even. “That was just cheating there.”

Shadow Man grunted, then a second Shadow Man then appeared next to him, and then the two scrambled themselves, making it hard to tell which was which

Huh?! There's two now?!

“It’s okay, it’s just Double Team. Got anything that can hit both of them?”

She almost wished Melody was here just for the extra help. But that would just be adding another person who had no idea how to fight in here.

I could make something! she shifted her hand into a long flail, and swung that at the two Shadow Mans, only for them both to disappear

Behind you Shadow Man knocked over Oppy with a hit from behind

OW! NO FAIR!

“Hmm… there’s a bit of a problem here… wait, I’ve got it!”

She shifted to Psychic Voltage. That should give her a better view than Steel. If he’d just stay still she could enter his circuits, but she didn’t have that option. through Psychic Voltage, she's able to see Shadow Man attempting to sneak up on Oppy through the mist. Miku’s eyes widened, electing to — instead of being an idiot and punching the robot in the face — warn Oppy about the incoming stealth attack. hearing Miku's warning, Oppy instead makes her body larger, squishy, and slightly adhesive. Shadow Man gets stuck on her and Oppy traps him

Good job Oppy!” Miku clapped slightly. “Let’s see if I can’t do anything here…”

She approached the robot, looking for any sort of entry point to his system. She was hoping it would be simple, but things rarely were. Shadow Man's putting up a beast of a fight, and the systems are already hard to grasp, being not of earth...

Miku! Look! Oppy points out an interface port - likely where Dr. Wily would connect to for maintanence. She moves this closer to Miku for convenience

“Thanks!” She nodded, sticking a finger into the port and transferring herself into the droid. It looked like she was still there, but her eyes were lifeless.

Inside Shadow Man is a landscape that seems like Shadow Man's stage from Mega Man 3, complete with enemies. She gets the sense she'll be ejected if she gets defeated, so better make this count. She was so happy for this, she never thought that she would ever find a use for this. Immediately enemies begin approaching her - it does seem like she has some rudimentary equipment based her franchise. Aw heck yeah, she can do stuff. Apparently the question of “what would Miku do in a platformer?” was answered with “Whatever the hell made sense for the setting.” Miku eventually made her way to Shadow Man, in his mindscape, and he immediately began going on the offensive, jumping around and throwing Shadow Blades. Well. She was hoping that she’d be able to talk things out with him, but that did not seem to be the case. At the very least, this was a very familiar pattern. For Dr. Wily! though his attacks are relentless, she knows them, and in short order Shadow Man is defeated. Miku automatically ejects, but Shadow Man has gone slack

you entered my mind... I'm lucky I trained for that. You saw only what I allowed you to, but even still... I'm in no shape to fight anymore…

Being back out of his mind was. Definitely a shock. She expected to leave on her own.

“Normally this would be when we’d like. Blow you up and take the chip thingy but we want answers. What are you doing here?”

at that moment an awful noise is heard and the Wily UFO flies overhead that descends a grabber claw that collects Shadow Man and startles Oppy into letting go 

Excellent work Shadow Man! We have what we needed from that lab now!

strangely, Strelka seems to notice the UFO and starts trying to chase it for some reason

Strelka what are you doing?!

“Huh? What’s going on?”

Miku attempted to chase after it, but as it turned out, being tackled by a ceratanium-adjacent-constructed robot when you yourself weigh 90 pounds normally really hurts, and she collapsed onto the ground.

Oppy doesn't notice at first, chasing Strelka until the Wily UFO flies out of sight and Strelka howls mournfully

Strelka what's wrong? Oppy then sees the guy from the Devon lab earlier

"Oh... it's you. Well if you want your dumb mutt you can keep it. Without the type memories it's useless to us, and given how much of a pain that project's been we're probably gonna cut funding for it. I won't bug you again about Type: Null"

Well... that's one thing down, now to deal with Wily. Wait where's Miku? 

realizing, she runs back to her friend and helps her back up 

Wily got away…

Miku was in. A lot of pain. Like… so much pain.

“It’s fine, we’ll get him later. Or. You will. I need to go to the hospital. I can message one of the others to help at least, I don’t wanna just leave you out on your own.”

I'll get you there, don't worry Oppy shapeshifts into a form that could fly her there and gets Miku to the hospital as fast as she can

Weird dream. Cool dragon looking things though. meh time to get up. Vincent is taking me to the city around midday. So I gotta brush my teeth and get my Sterling City Kelpies shirt for the game in the evening when we meet up with everyone else.

“ Where in the great gods am I” opening my eyes revealed a blank ceiling, no stickers, no color spots. This isn't home, what did I do last night? 

I shake my head trying to rack it for ideas when my eyes hit a sleeping figure on a nearby couch, Lloyd. How did i forget the rift, i never forget stuff like this. Maybe it's portal lag, is that a thing?

And why didnt i panic when I noticed I wasn't home?

I remove the green quilt from my lap and see my bag on the other side of the bed. I grab a small pack of poke snacks for my team and a piece of bread for Miri. Picking up each pokeball and releasing its inhabitant.

I pat waves on her head, remembering when I adopted her. 

‘And this is the runt of the litter, and so far one of 300 world wide cases of pre birth evolution, and one of 70 fusion eeveelutions’ 

I pat the little week old vaporeon on its head and it nuzzles up to me.

‘No one wants her but scientists and we have a strict policy’

I look down at her sparkling orange eyes, I trace my finger around each of the gold rings of her webbed tail.

‘I want her’ i peep out as she sits in my lap and licks her paws

Then there was berry and cherry. The bonded pair of my ‘shiny’ hisuain zorua and my gardivoir. 

I never liked the normal battling method of catching pokemon. I prefer to set up a picnic or tent or something and let them come to me, if they want to stay they do and if not i let them go free.

‘Oh hi little ones’

They just sorta came up to me every few picnics and eventually they joined me in the elite four battle

Broccoli, my first pokemon. My starter as they call them.

“Ok guys, let's be quiet. Lloyd is sleeping '' I see everyone's version of a nod, they don't know who Lloyd is but if i don't want him up they wont wake him.

I walk out to the hall and choose to walk right looking at paintings as I go. Battles and portraits, Lloyd and other ninjas Arin told me about. They seem happy, it's sweet.

After walking throw the maze of a home i find a front door and open it to a well cared for courtyard, i run when i see Miri off to the side, she's barely awake by now but one of the ninja must have hooked her up to an outlet given the cord on her back.

“Good morning Miri” i pat her head and walk to the gate at the far end of the yard, everyone spread out and stretched their legs. I stop to admire the dragon statue centerpiece and continue to walk. The gate was light for its size and I opened it to meet the eyes of a teen with red hair in a loose bun and a pale seafoam gi.

“You come out here to watch the sunrise too?” I ask as I sit down next to her. She nods lightly. If this is Wyldfyre shouldn't she be energetic like Arin said? 

“I was told a lot about you, Arin said you were raised by a dragon '' I offer that Arin spoke about her and she sorta just looked off. So I talked about my sisters, three of which are half dragons. I saw her perk up at the mention of my eldest sister stella's dragon heritage and she began to ask questions by the time i started talking about flare, she was full on chatting with me when i got to talking about star.  

And then it happened, again, like always. My passive ability, everyone who is around me long enough will start telling me every fear or anxiety from their life. Maybe it would be nice if I were a gossip or blackmailer but I'm not. so i just listen, i hope that's enough. 

But wait, Arin and Lloyd were right next to me for a solid hour before passing out. Maybe they're just resistant, or maybe I'll finally have to earn someone's trust.

“Oh i see you've met celeste, wyldfyre” lloyd stood at the gate and held it open as wyldfyre and i walked in. wyldfyre seemed cold towards him, she was so happy a minute ago.��Did Lloyd do something?

After waiting and corralling my mon’s to one side of the yard, Arin, someone I have to guess is sora given our matching hair, and a few other ninja Arin rambled about, came out to practice something they call “spinjitzu”. After watching for 10 or so minutes one of them came over and introduced themself as nya, she said that given my powers i might be able to learn this ancient technique.

So I got up, I listened, they had me do a course, then I spun. And spun. About three hours passed when something clicked, just not how it was supposed to.

‘What's the kid doing solaris?’

‘He's trying to learn spinjitzu, its kinda sad’

‘Dang, not even a spark?’ 

‘No, and given who i am i don't think he’ll ever do it’

‘Whats, that then.’

I spun, and the ground around me was no longer flat and gray, bright spikes protruded from it.

‘Not spinjitzu, go ask the high priestess’

‘You don't need to call her that’

“Well, this is interesting, know what” I looked at nya as she grabbed Arin’s hand and told him he should teach me, the face he made was so confused and mortified as he whisper-yelled to her about how he could barely do it himself. I gave him a thumbs up.

“Maybe I should figure out how to turn off the colorful death points first?” just a suggestion but nya told me to try and untense, and it worked. Kinda. I calmed down from the semi panic i didnt even notice had set in, and then the colors slithered on the ground. Nya was closer so she was first, they did just what they did to lloyds gi.

 Blues and grays of many shades swirled until a large sea serpent had formed on her gi.

A silver armored head piece depicting antlers grew from her hood, the lower half of the outfit gained a deep ombre and her belt now held a self-contained sea, the ends formed foam and everything. It's really cool. 

Then colors moved to Arin but it seemed like they couldn't touch him, so they returned to me and vanished back into the stone. Now, Cole walks out, sees the self containing confusion, spins on his heel and leaves.

Nya looks at her gi, she seems to have mixed feelings. Her face looks like the design brought back something she didn't want to remember but the glint in her eyes is hopeful not fearful. 

“I'm going in, arin you're coming with me” she grabs Arin again and drags him inside, he gives me a silent sorry as the door closes.

I notice wyldfyre, who has been watching this unfold. I didn't even see her come out here again. She asks if i can do that to her gi, i say i can try. And as if listening to me the colors shoot out to her like bullets.

The colors dont change much, nor does the pattern. The small bone of her belt shifts to a flare glass, something rare in my world. Then the belt shifts turning to have the slowly growing tails facing backwards, the flare glass is now at the tip of a tail made of fabric, what i should have prepared for was the tails movement. 

“CELESTE DID YOU JUST GIVE ME A TAIL” she didn't need to yell that loud but i wasn't in her shoes, id seen flare glass powered limbs and enhancements, heck i have one on right now, though its more discrete.

I mumble yeah whist calming her down, she fiddles with the tail as she quickly realizes her dream has come true. Shes a dragon now.

Basic Headcannons for pokemon Y/N

. They flinch when they see people while traveling, hand going to their pokeballs. They relax when they've passed them.

. Pokemon Y/N picks fights more than Sasuke and Naruto combined.

. They also win more.

. Pokemon Y/N has gotten in trouble on multiple occasions for bringing out Lugia and attempting to start fights whenever a villiager insults their friends/teammates.

. They take a while to understand norm animals and summons. Summons were a bit easier to understand for them, but regular animals? What do you mean they don't have abilities? What do you mean they cant be my friend? What do you mean they can't understand me????

. Eventually pokemon Y/N learns how to leave the local wildlife alone.

. Pokemon Y/N cuddles woth their pokemon all the time, often times accidentally scaring someone who went to go get them and didn't expect to see Zoroark or Mimikyu

. No one understands how pokemon work and Y/N is constantly trying to explain it.

. Y/N takes one look at pein and brings out Arceus and MewTwo.

. Y/N is suddenly able to break the '6 pokemon at a time' rule and is super excited about it, no one really gets why.

. Y/N is constantly mistaking people for gym leaders or other people they knew back in their world.

. It also took a while for Y/N to understand that the big bad guys didn't just want to steal all pokemon or summons and did in fact murder people.

. Murder also took a bit to get used to.

. Y/N doesn't need running shoes to run anymore. Another thing people didn't understand.

. Magic healing hands work on pokemon??? Y/N proceeds to learn how to heal just so they can heal their pokemon.

. They absolutely love to confuse people and flex. "Yeah, you've collected a few of the tailed beasts, but do you have God? How about the creators of time and space? Or the controller of antimatter? Huh? Huh?"

. Pokemon scare most people until Y/N brings out the cute ones like Eevee and Vulpix.

. The pokemon Nintales and the narutoverse Nintales cause some confusion, surprisingly they do end up getting along after a while. Y/Ns pokemon ninetales likes naruto a lot.

•When Y/N first shows up, no one understands why they keep talking to everyone they see and digging through trash cans. They always mutter something about hidden items and moves, it's not until they start breaking into people's houses that team 7 tries to actually stop the habit

•No one understood why they're so strict about perfect counters for chakra natures, yeah some jutsus are good for certain strategies, but you don't have to only use fire types when fighting Yamato. Please he can only take so much

•The first time they see Sasuke or Kakashi use chidori against an earth wall and break through it, they have an aneurysm

•When Y/N finds out about how many ninja die during missions, they started walking around the graveyard with a pokedoll and some ghost types

•Pokemon Y/N and Ghost Y/N would like each other, P!Y/N gets to comfort ghosts and G!Y/N gets to interact with ghosts that aren't obnoxious

•Y/N compares poffins and berries to the ninja rations and chakra pills all the time, when they pull out an X Speed or X Attack in battle people stop making fun of how soft their battle items are

•When they found out about the nine tails attack, they got so excited for the possibility of other Pokemon in the world, but were so sad to hear that their trainer was using them for evil. Even after it got cleared up that it wasn't a pokemon attack, they still felt guilty for bringing out their nine tails during battles

•When they met all the kages, they accidentally almost started a war by asking them who was the champion and who were only the elite four. They made a similar joke to the Akatsuki about who was the first gym and who was eighth

•People keep making jokes to Kakashi about how Y/N is able to use over 1,000 jutsu without needing a sharingan to copy it

•They give people nicknames based off of what type of trainer they look like or if they resemble people from their universe, and they 100% hatched some new Pokemon just to name after their new friends. IE a luxray named Sasuke and a buizel named Naruto

•Someone has definitely tried to kill them, only to be stopped by a pokemon jumping in front of the attack. They better hope that pokemon knew protect or had the sturdy ability, cause the second their pokemon goes back into their ball to rest, they're bringing out the big guys

•I hc that unless you attack Y/N out of a pokemon battle, like when they're just walking with the pokemon or they aren't out at all, they are impervious to physical attacks. If you strike them in-between switches or when one faints you could hurt them then, but you'd have to deal with a hoard of angry pokemon jumping out of their balls to protect their trainer

•The first time Y/N and Pein met, they stood there for a couple minutes pulling out ever god, legendary, and pseudo legendary they have

Cole was having a good day

There was no garmadon attack today because they just fought him yesterday and it was sgonna take a while with how bad they damaged his mech and stuff this time. The bullying from everyone at school was low and his favorite band just released a new album, not even the rain can ruin this day for him even though he was a pretty chill guy.

He was on his way to the nearest music store to get the new album when that's when he heard it. "Char" he turned his head and he couldnt belive his eyes in front of him was a fictional creature he only heard about and seen on tv.A orange lizard with a peach underbelly with a flame on the ip of its tail laying on the ground unconscious it was no doubt that in front of him was a charmander.

He couldn't belive what he was seeing he was normally a chill guy but when you see something that isn't supposed to exist right in front of you it can shock you very much. He was about to take a step back in case it was about to wake up and attack him because he didn't want to be set on fire today even if it was raining when he noticed it's tail. He doesn't know much about pokemon only a few things from what Jay has told and showed him. What he did know is that if a charmanders tail flame goes out it dies and this charmanders tail flame is getting smaller by the second.

Without thinking he took off his jacket that he wore today (in case it did rain hard) and covered up the little charmander and picked it up trying to keep its tail dry. He began to run back home quickly and he's glad he's a ninja because he needed to get home asap or this little charmander will die on him. Normally it would have taken him 20 minutes to reach his house but he made it in 10. "Hi honey your home early I thought you were going to go to the store to get that new album that released today?" Lily asked as she saw her son run in the house. "Sorry mom I have a emergency I need alot of towels for this little guy" he said as he took of his now soaked jacket off the charmander.

Lily gasped at how weak the poor creature looked in her son's arms and she noticed that it's breathing was labored as if it had trouble getting air. "Ok I will make some soup and get a heater for him too" she said with a serious but kind look on her face. Cole took the charmander into his room put the charmander on his bed carefully and turned up the heater to as high as it can go he can tolerate a little heat to save this charmanders life. He went to the bathroom and grabbed as many towels as he could and started to dry it off as quickly as possible after using about 3 towels the charmander was completely dry though it was hard to dry off its tail because of the flame. Though it's flame had gotten a bit bigger not by much but it's progress and it seemed to be breathing easier.

Lily came in with some soup, a heating pad, a small blanket and a spare pillow they had and laid the pad on the bed and the soup on the nightstand. Gently lifting the charmader she plugged in the heating pad and setting it down on the pad with its head on the pillow and covering it up while being mindful of its tail. "Honey where did you find this little one?" She asked while petting the charmanders head. "I was just walking by a alley when I heard it call out it seemed to be reaching out to me though and I don't know why" he said looking confused. "Well it doesn't matter you did a good thing today lets nurse this little one back to health and lets see how it goes from there ok sweetie" she said patting coles head. Looking sheepish "Ok mom I'll let you know if anything happens you should get some rest now" he said. "Don't worry I will honey love you" she said closing the door. Cole turned his attention back to the charmander on his bed

'Just how did you get here and more importantly how are you alive' he thought to himself as he waited for the charmander to wake up.
