20. To solve other peoples problems, they say to murder the problem

ROOK. Ahraminta supports punching the problem in the face, but doesn’t immediately go straight to murder. Juniper Oakshadow has a very big sword that she is always happy for an excuse to use as well.

22. Likes dragons

Kashimah Farlong is a dragon, thank you very much. (She’s not. She’s a fire genasi with as many red dragon disciple levels as nwn2 let me give her. But she insists she’s a dragon.) ...Selwyn had a conversation with a random red dragon who wasn’t trying to ruin his life and left it going “...I suddenly understand why people try to seduce dragons,” so TAKE THAT HOW YOU WILL. THANKS SELWYN. I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT UNTIL IT HAPPENED. Hazard is pretty consistently delighted when the party runs across a dragon npc, but tbh I’m not sure how much of that is that she likes dragons, how much is that she’s relieved to see someone who recognizes a motlos, and how much is just that I adore @skeleton-adventurer‘s dragons. 

24. Would bake a cake for a friend who is sad

Xolinn. Donan actually had a whole rp thread that was him... trying to bake a cake for Neeshka. His partner in crime for that was Grobnar though, so it was... an excellent disaster. (It might also have been less to cheer her up than as a bribe, but still, he would.) Alastroine might if she knows that this is a friend who enjoys cake, but it might not be her first idea.

I like how you can tell Zhjaeve “But I don’t have enough shards to make it complete” when you’re going to reforge the Sword. As if your KC will just sit in their room sometimes and lay the shards out and try to make a sword from them. Shiny silver jigsaw puzzle

And then the Sword isn’t even shaped like a normal sword, so just imagine: Your knowledge of swords is trying to fit the pieces together one way, and that OBVIOUSLY isn’t working, and some part of your intuition (aka, the shard inside you) is trying to fit them together some OTHER way. and that one IS working, kind of, in that some of the shards actually seem to fit together along their fractures, but it doesn’t look very swordy at all. (especially with the missing bits)

11. How do they define family? “I love you and I’m going to do anything in my power to keep you safe and so that means you’re my brother/sister/weird uncle/etc now.” Practically EVERY TIME he meets someone and becomes friends with them.

16. Choose several theme songs for them: Ok, since Aldro told me I could do this one later and I’ve already spent several hours poking at various songs without getting very far, I’ma just leave you with one that could maybe be an overall theme or could maybe be a beginning/first half of the story song:  Home by Paradise Fears

20.How would they introduce themself at a formal event? I’m thinking like, meeting the ruler of a land, but I realize that’s kind of a high fantasy thing so come up with a scenario that’s somewhat reasonable for your setting. Does he have to? Does he really have to oh hells, he doesn’t want to do this. Probably just as Donan Farlong, unless he needs to sound like nobility for some reason/got picked to represent Neverwinter even though there HAS to be someone better suited for that. Like Nevalle. Please just send Nevalle instead. But if he had to, then Sir Donan of Neverwinter (or of Crossroad Keep, if the event is in Neverwinter.)

But he’d really rather just be Donan and let someone else do the politicking.

Kinda iridescentish hair that always seems to be reflecting fire regardless of what the light source actually is.

Have I mentioned yet that he probably spends spring festivals braiding flowers into little girls' hair? Because I'm pretty sure he does that. Amie probably started it.

Thinks scythes make practical and effective weapons for some reason

Has a very effective death glare when he tries for it, but probably defaults to big, golden puppy dog eyes otherwise

Has a little voice in his head that likes to casually point out exactly how easy it would be to kill everyone around him, but he's gotten pretty good at shutting it out.

Best Friend: Well, he’s known Bevil the longest. But he also thinks of Bevil as a brother more than as a best friend, so maybe Khelgar. Or maybe Gann but I don’t even know what to call that

Sexuality: OHGODWHAT (probably asexual maybe demisexual 100% confused)

Favorite color: Green (I don’t know he doesn’t know green is an easy answer)

Relationship Status: in a thing with Safiya (a thing really Donan is that really what you’re calling it)

Ideal Mate: WOW so first of all, they should object to just being called a mate because there is more to a relationship than just that?

Turn ons: Can I just cheat and skip this one kinda like how I basically skipped the previous one?

Favorite Food: Not trail rations. Pretty much anything except trail rations at this point.

Crushes: Cue vague noises of despair from the tiefling because he has no idea how to deal with that sort of thing

Favorite Music: AND THIS IS WHERE I REALIZE MOST OF HIS MUSICAL KNOWLEDGE PROBABLY COMES FROM GROBNAR OH GOD

Biggest Fear: Probably something like being completely alone

Biggest Fantasy: Amie and Shandra are miraculously not dead and also no one got buried in Merdelain and West Harbor getting wiped out was a bad dream and basically no one died in the war, that would be great too bad there’s no way it can happen

Bad Habits: Donan honey no stop scratching at the base of your horns

Biggest Regret: Not being able to resolve things with Lorne without killing him (sending him off to be killed by Black Garius is just as bad honestly). He knows intellectually that there wasn’t another solution, but he still feels guilty.

Best Kept Secrets: …I dunno, he’s a pretty bad secret keeper. If he has any secrets, it’s probably because he didn’t think to tell someone something and it’s never really been relevant.

Last Thought: Like, the last thing he’ll think before he dies? Is that the question or am I just being morbid? Cause that’ll probably be something like oh shit because let’s be honest he’ll probably die in battle.

Worst Romantic Experience: Ok, so you know how Neeshka gets really clingy and jealous when you play a male character? Turns out that Elanee will do this too. And she’ll specifically get jealous about Neeshka. And if you call her out on acting jealous, she says, and I quote: “I’d be careful with her if I were you - demons and devils are not of this land, and their nature are different than ours. ‘Fickle’ comes to mind.” AND THEN she still flirts with him on the wall after having said this and holy shit raise your hand if you’re surprised that he doesn’t exactly trust romantic attraction anymore (I mean, not that he had any idea what he was doing with kind-of-flirting with Elanee, but this didn’t help with his automatic reaction to crushes being oh gods what why)

Biggest Insecurity: OH WELL WHILE WE’RE ON THE TOPIC, he’s kind of touchy about being a tiefling and isn’t going to react well if you suggest that tieflings are automatically evil, untrustworthy, etc.

Weapon of Choice: Scythes

Role Model: Lorne and Cormick kind of were when he was a kid. Retta, because Retta is a badass and I will not hear otherwise. Kind of Casavir, to an extent.

Donan - 6: Does he have any titles? Any self-given titles? Knight Captain of Crossroad Keep, (former) Kalach-Cha, (former) Spirit Eater, Twice-Betrayer, etc. etc. He’s mostly just embarassed by the titles that he does have, and has no interest in adding to the list. He never tells the “honorary Frost Giant Jarl” story.

Gann, on the other hand, feels the need to insert it at the end of Donan’s titles every time someone “forgets” it.

20: What are some of his thoughts on love and relationships? He is a lot more comfortable with platonic and familial love than romantic love, and Elanee really didn’t help with that. He also thinks of family as something you can gain the same way you can gain friends, which comes from growing up considering Amie and Bevil his siblings and the rest of the Starlings his family as much as Daeghun was. He adds Neeshka, Khelgar, and Shandra to his list of siblings, and Grobnar’s kind of like a weird uncle. Casavir kind of replaces Lorne as somewhat-distant-older-brother-that-I-look-up-to.

Rook - 8: What about our world would she find most fascinating? Guns. Never let Rook come to our world, or to any world with guns.

15: How does she react to stress and pressure? Kill the source if it’s easily available for slaughter, or work on hunting it down until it is. In the meantime, get Dorn to, ah. Distract her.

17: Does she attach any significance to her name? Nickname(s)?Azalyn is the name that Gorion gave her, and if anyone besides the people who knew her in Candlekeep use it, the odds of her helping them drop considerably. Repeated use also drops their life expectancy considerably. She also doesn’t really feel like it’s her name after Gorion dies, and spent the return trip to Candlekeep extremely uncomfortable.

She considers Rook her name, and somewhat uses the Azalyn/Rook divide to separate the person she used to be from the person she is now.

‘Azzie’ is a death sentence for anyone except Imoen, who gets glares and doesn’t use it very often these days anyway. Xzar might also be able to use it and survive, but that’s just because he’s insane.

Jakainen - 1: What was his last nightmare about? Morita completely took over Miyani and began killing everyone. She also pushed Lynn completely and irreversibly into berserk dragon mode (never mind that Morita can’t do any necromancy-type magic that would let her do that anyway). J woke up before either of them got to him, but he also couldn’t do anything to save anyone else.

8: What would he find most fascinating about our world? Probably craft stores. He’d raid the beads/jewelry making section, because MASS PRODUCED EASILY AVAILABLE SHINY THINGS.

Meanwhile, Taros is complaining that the craft stores take all the fun out of it and plans an attack on some silver or gold mine somewhere.
