 It would often rain in Purgatory, mostly at night. Even during the day it would seem to pour endlessly without flooding any street, the reason seemingly being that everything went somewhere..

  That was mostly the point of Purgatory in Beelzebub's mind - everything ended up somewhere, and that was his job. 

  Tonight, his mind was on just that as he watched the rain hit the window of his office as he was up much later than he would usually be. He never minded the grandfather clock as it chimed just next to the sofa on the opposite side of the room. More often than not, there was no one else that truly used it other than Beelzebub himself when he was tired of using the chair, or simply not in the mood to sit at his desk.

  His gloves began to trace along the rim of his teacup, leaning over the edge.. being Death himself meant that there were not many moments of quiet that he was allowed. He was content in the silence until it was the knock at his office door that grasped his attention back to his office, shifting his focus to his door.

“..Who’s there?” He simply answered.
