why dr. iplier x yancy x host FUCKS HARD so heres a WIP thats been sitting in my drafts unfinished and will never be finished. rip

okay imagine, right? Dr. Iplier and the Host are dancing around each other always on the verge of saying something to one another about their feelings but the Host is excellent at talking about everything except whats important and Dr. Iplier thinks hes good at reading people but he’s not. They’re both kind of shy and they’re both kind of oblivious to the other’s feelings. If whatever Dark and Wilford have going on, wasn’t going on, then Dr. Iplier and Host would be the most interesting thing to occur in the ego meetings. maybe. there’s a lot of chaos there.

anyway they’re dancing around each other and they’re experts at it too. Then Heist drops and they get three new dudes. One is a pirate who’s practically never around because he loves adventure so damn much, the other dude also says he loves adventure so he goes on like weekend trips once a month but he stays in the mansion, and then you have the last guy. Who never leaves the mansion. Hell, does he even go in the backyard? Naturally they think he’s an introvert. Host is maybe hoping he’s got a book buddy who won’t mind a bit of blood; after all this guy showed up in a prison garb with tattoos and bandaids all over. Dr. Iplier really wants to give him a check-up since Captain Magnum’s never around for him to check up on him, and Illinois has submitted to three different check-ups already for each adventure he goes off to, but this prison guy has already figured out the entire layout of the mansion and is quick and quiet as a fish, or eel, or some other creature that can slither away without notice. Hell, he’s an escape artist when he wants to be and he knows every nook and cranny. It’s driving Dr. Iplier up the wall.

He finally gets his hands on the guy by cornering him after an ego meeting, and maybe it was undignified to scramble out of his seat like that the moment Dark lets them go, but the last meeting Yancy disappeared and the meeting before that was the when Yancy was introduced and Dr. Iplier has mistakenly thought that Yancy would show himself to the doctor’s office back then. He knows better now.

“Yancy. If you would come with me please.” His grip is iron around the ex-prisoner’s bicep.

Watched RRR for the first time a week ago and I'm continuing to be veryyyy normal about it.

So in the spirit of sharing some good stuff, I'm gonna put this in the tag for the small fandom...

And ho boy, are you gonna LOVE RRR. Because this movie has got ALL of that and then some more. It's an epic, it's a war movie, it's a love story, it's highly symbolical, it's going to take your heart and rip it into two. And you will thank it for that.

It's available on Netflix but only as the dubbed Hindi version. It's pretty good for a dub as the actors dubbed their characters themselves and the director oversaw the translation but! But! Listen! Lukáš Dostál lives in a timeloop actually . he saves and saves and saves and watches as his team claws their way to a goal on the other end of the ice — just one. always. it’s somehow always one goal. and so many times the puck comes back again, and he has to keep saving, and it’s so hard. his team is outmatched. in the final few minutes they collapse in front of his net. an impossible shot goes through. it goes into overtime and he is only mortal and the opponent puts their foot down on their throats and suddenly it’s all over with the puck in the back of his net and it doesn’t matter that he kept them in the game for 60 minutes before this, it doesn’t matter how many break aways he stopped, the game ends 2-1 in overtime and he has lost. it’s always his fault. he picks himself back up and there’s another match and he’s making save after save again and the time loop is reset.

Headcanon:

Raju’s been exhausted for days, to a point that’s worrying for Akhtar. He makes some polite suggestions for how to bring restful sleep, recommends some herbs, offers a toddy recipe, but Raju waves off each suggestion, insisting that he has too much work to do and he really doesn’t need that much sleep anyways, but thank you Akhtar, you’re always so kind.

Akhtar frowns but doesn’t want to argue so he just keeps an eye on Raju and wrings his hands worrying about him for days. When he goes to bed each night, he whispers a prayer that Raju is in his own bed too, resting comfortably, hopefully getting some sleep. But he knows deep down that Raju is awake in lamp light, slaving away at that damn desk as usual. He wonders what could possibly be so important. He tries to push the bitter feelings away. All he wants to feel is love. The love comes in such abundance. It’s so easy.

Finally, Raju’s body has had enough and he nods off at his desk, minutes before he’s expecting dear Akhtar to arrive for their little lunch date. He doesn’t even realize it’s happening. He’s in the middle of writing a word when sleep takes him. The afternoon sun bakes his apartment in stifling warmth and he sweats even as he sleeps.

Akhtar lets himself in WITH HIS KEY THAT HE HAS, and sees Raju finally sleeping sweetly, albeit in this most uncomfortable position. He notices the beads of sweat clinging to Raju’s skin. He wants to be happy that his sweet Raju is finally getting some rest, but this clearly will not do. He immediately reaches for the electric fan and props it up to give Raju some cool air. He makes sure it’s close enough to feel the breeze, but far enough that it won’t wake him up. He’s satisfied when he sees Raju’s body relax into the nap, and Akhtar just BEAMS. Smiles like a man so blissfully in love, he’d go to the ends of the earth to bring his beloved some comfort. But today all he had to do was move a little bit of air. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Don’t think I’ve ever talked about it here, but my OC Vika’s birthday is September 13th (today!) 🥰 Threw together a moodboard for my girl as well as a veryyyy tiny birthday blurb below the cut! (there’s just a hint of spice in there, you have been warned 👀)

“Happy birthday, tesoro.”

Vika is pulled gently out of sleep by Benny’s lips brushing against her cheek, the rumble of his voice, still rough with sleep, sending sweet vibrations through her body as she lazily turns in his arms to face him.

“Thank you, meri jaan.” She hums, a smile spreading across her face as she takes in the warm brown eyes, dark tousled waves, and sweet smile that she gets to wake up to every morning.

Her husband leans in to close the minimal distance between them, capturing her lips in a gentle kiss that quickly becomes heated, hands wandering freely as Benny shifts his weight to hover above Vika.

She can’t hold back a sigh at his lips dragging down her neck, her collarbone, her chest, lower and lower…

“And just what do you think you’re doing, Mr. DeMarco?” Vika finally hums, raising one eyebrow playfully as he settles between her legs, their pajamas long since discarded.

A cheeky grin matches the sparkle in Benny’s eyes as he replies matter-of-factly.

“Giving you your first birthday present, Mrs. DeMarco.”

With that he descends, something that sounds approximately like his name tumbling from Vika’s lips in a moan as she throws her head back against the pillows.

Later, Vika will contemplate how wonderfully lucky she is on this day— Benny presenting her with a homemade breakfast along with a dozen bright marigolds and a pair of jhumkas fashioned to look like the one dangling from the chain resting at her collarbone, later a wonderful dinner party thrown by her mother and her friends, complete with a cake made by the exquisitely talented Jean Crosby, a day spent surrounded by love and laughter, her heart warm and soft and glowing in her chest.

But for now she closes her eyes, moans and sighs slipping from her lips as she blindly tugs Benny closer, with the feeling that what’s to come may be the best birthday she’s ever had.
