5 Years Later
So...I admit I didn't really have anything big planned for today ^^;
But today- September 12th, 2024- is the 5th Anniversary of when A Student Out Of Time began. I started this blog based on a simple whim, after I'd completed playing 999 with a friend and read H.P. Lovecraft's The Shadow Out Of Time. I asked myself "Hey, what if Hajime went back in time and tried to prevent the Tragedy?"
Now, this wasn't the first story blog I'd ever written. I had a couple early ones that I'm a little too embarrassed to share or discuss, but my biggest one was The Starship Hope, which also began on a whim all the way back in 2018. I was on a walk through the second neighborhood I lived in back in California, and I asked myself "What if the V3 Cast were actually in space?"
While I still have some fondness for that one, I don't believe I really found my footing as a writer until we got deep into this one. I had a tendency to just write whatever sounded cool or I got a little too shippy about some things. Then I really sat down and started planning out arcs, and we built things up from there...
...And now here we are, five years later, and I'm still doing this. Not only that, it's become so much bigger than I ever thought it would. Early on, I had one anon tell me that they weren't convinced that this blog would never last, because story blogs like this never do. I still think about that person now, and I really have to thank them because that was when I decided I'd commit to it.
Thanks to that, I've met so many new friends, been introduced to great things, inspired others to pursue their own stories and creative ambitions, and we even have a whole set of pages on TV Tropes. Almost 1,200 have decided to follow me, and that's not even counting how many have read this story and simply not made their presence known. In short, it really has helped change my life.
It hasn't been easy, and there have been times where I've thought about quitting or deleting the whole thing. There have been some dark moments, some bad arcs, some ideas that didn't pan out as I'd hoped. But even so, I always took them as learning experiences and chose not to quit.
More importantly, I've helped inspire people to check out one of my favorite series of all time, I've given them a work they can enjoy, and all this has in turn helped me refine my own writing skills and figure out the sort of writer I hope to become one day. Seeing people enjoy what I do or just curious to hear what my thoughts are, it really does inspire me to keep going.
It's also so wild to see how much Danganronpa has evolved as a series in time since I started all this. I got involved in the DR Tumblr fandom back in early 2016, before Danganronpa 3 was even out yet. I remember how much we were clamoring for it and V3, how controversial their story decisions were, and how many people didn't want it to end. They wanted to tell their own stories and do their own spins on the concept, and that's how we got so many different fangans in so many mediums- other games, videos, instagram, fanfics, and some here on Tumblr.
Danganronpa Another, SDRA2, DR: Rebirth, Despair Time, Blowback, TheAfter, Rocky Restarts, DR Mauve, DR Lapse, Brave DR: Coward's Paradise, Eternal Endings, Shattered Hope, Heartless Deceit, Eden's Garden, Antebellum, and so many others.
I got into both Zero Escape and AI: The Somnium Files, both great series in their own right. And now we have another SC game on the way, The Hundred Line- Last Defense Academy, which looks pretty interesting too.
In short, it's been a long 5 years.
Do I plan to keep going? Uh, yeah. We're nearing the conclusion of Season 2, and I have many ideas for Season 3. I intend to keep doing this as long as I'm able and as long as people want me to, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
More than anything, I'm just happy people enjoy the work I do. The support I've received over this last half a decade have been nothing short of inspiring, and I'm glad that people are always happy to see me update no matter how long it's been.
My life has had many ups and downs in the time I've been doing this, but being able to look at all this and say that I helped create a community and inspired people to pursue their own ambitions? It makes it all worth it ^^
What happens when it does all eventually conclude? I wouldn't worry about it. I do have an ending idea in mind, but we're nowhere near that yet. Season 2 has had some of our best arcs so far, and I think Season 3 could even turn out to be even better, but I won't get too ahead of myself.
I'm glad I'm still doing this, and I'm glad for every single person who decided that this silly little Danganronpa fanfiction blog was worth their time to get invested in. When I get things together a bit more and I start publishing my own original stories, I hope you'll follow me on my journey there as well.
Thank you guys for everything!
Here's to another 5 years ^^

Blood on the Hood
Knight of the Phoenix by Bonnie and KITT's POV. Lotta artistic liberty.
“Well, KITT? What do you think?”
Dr. Bonnie Barstow adjusts the cameras attached to the Knight Industries Two Thousand’s main hub until the attached CRT monitors show the subject in full– a low-slung black car, just pulled into the lab-garage. She turns to busy herself with a different computer while KITT’s hub whirs away, knowing it still needs time to boot up and wrangle its surroundings. This time, she could relate, as the sheer existence of this car meant all of her blueprints and plans were now moot.
She should have expected it, though. Men like Wilton Knight were capricious, spooked by their own genius. Not that she would ever say that to his face, of course. He paid too well– had too interesting of a vision– for her to risk throwing it all away. And she wouldn’t trust anyone else with the bundle of microprocessors thinking away behind her.
Speaking of, a soft shuffle of static in standing speakers told her to look up at KITT.
“It is not the vehicle I was told about,” he says slowly. “I’m afraid I cannot ID it,” he adds, carefully monotone.
The speakers butcher his voice somewhat, or there’s interference somewhere. Bonnie stares at the mess of connections for a moment before deciding she doesn’t want to adjust them. Too much to do– when he becomes unintelligible, she’ll fix it. The shocking human quality of his voice is not lost either way.
“I think it’s a Pontiac,” Bonnie says. “No idea where the hell it came from. If I’m right, they just dragged it in an hour ago. It’ll be the new you!”
She knows it’s a Pontiac. An ‘82 Firebird, Trans Am, whatever you wanted to call it. A used one, if the dirt clinging to its tires and undercarriage was any indicator. Definitely not the factory-fresh Datsun she’d been imagining or wanting to order– God forbid anything gets done the way she likes.
KITT lapses into silence. She stares him down, gaze locked by the juddering of his camera apparatus and the twitching of his screens. It’s not her best work, but she’d built it herself out of junk from home. KITT somehow always manages to make the best of it anyway.
“What are we looking at?” Bonnie prompts.
He’s zeroed in on the car, tilting the lenses this way and that, until the sloping hood is brought into focus. The overhead lights throw it into a grainy flare on his monitors, so she has no idea what he’s seeing.
“There’s a substance on the hood,” KITT says, animated. “Have you not already inspected the car?”
Bonnie bites back a noise of offense. She’d just woken up!
“I wanted to inspect it together,” she says, snorting. “Let me take a look…”
She hears KITT’s hub whir loudly in tandem with his camera tilting to track her as she approaches the center garage floor. She circles the vehicle once, picking the exterior over for immediate glaring issues before standing before its prow, hand on her hips. From this angle, the metallic glare is less severe.
From this angle, she sees what KITT saw first.
The solid black paint job hides it well, but her eyes pick out the raised edges of, indeed, a substance. Naturally dark, only tangible because it’s dried matte. She debates the pros and cons of touching it with her bare hands. The likelihood of it being motor oil is… not very high, really. The location isn’t right. The texture-by-eye isn’t right. She leans down to scrape her nails through it, breaking up reddish-brown flakes that cake around her fingertips.
Rust?
No. The car is physically too new for that– and in the Southwest, to boot.
“I’ll be damned,” she says, inspecting the dust further. “It’s blood.”
“Blood?” KITT echoes, his voice picking up a slight accent. “An animal’s?”
“Doubt it!” Bonnie says with faux cheer. “Let’s just get it cleaned up. Goddamn murder scene…”
Don’t ask questions, just do the work, and try not to think about why she’s been given a bloody corpse of a car.
KITT watches in silence as Bonnie begins the tedious work of tearing the vehicle apart. But first, she pops open the driver’s side door and slides inside the car, beyond his limited range of view. She remains inside the vehicle for approximately three minutes and comes out looking… perturbed, he settles on, cross-referencing his data on human faces with his language banks. He waits patiently for her to wander back to his position.
Her hands are full. He coaxes his viewing apparatus into focusing on her hands and attempts to identify what she’s holding. Several papers, an air freshener, a plain black bag, and paper currency.
“Is there any identification?” KITT asks.
“Unfortunately,” Bonnie sighs. “But there wasn’t much else. I…”
He again waits, but she trails off into silence. The situation is bothering her. She’d dedicated a good portion of her time to a select plan that was now ruined. But that wasn’t everything, he realizes ponderously. Perhaps the bigger issue was that she had to find these items at all. Items like this– human clutter– implied life.
Life didn’t factor into the original plan. Not like this.
She thumbs through the papers, muttering too quietly for his microphone to decipher. He shoves his camera back toward the car. Should he tell Bonnie how laborious the machine is? No, probably not. His time with it was now limited. He’d deal, as he’s heard her put it.
There’s nothing outwardly special about the vehicle except the blood and the lack of badges. It’s a perfectly normal sports car, low to the ground and slender in physique. Probably light and agile. He’s sure it’d be quite fetching in any other lighting, but the garage fluorescents make it look quite gaunt. Miserable, even, but that notion is irrational.
Then again, finding the vehicle attractive without human prompting is also irrational, but that part of his programming he is unable to isolate.
Bonnie steps back into view with a slight hunch to her shoulders. She pops the hood, then disconnects it from the car completely, followed by the battery. Despite the current dilemma, she still carries herself with a dogged confidence, briskly executing her tasks.
“Bonnie,” KITT starts, a near whisper. “Would it not expedite the process to have someone help you?”
She shakes a fist of rubber hoses in his direction, an aimless gesture of acknowledgement.
“Sure would, KITT, but it’s two in the morning and I’m not doing that to my techs.”
The engine bay threatens to swallow her voice. KITT strains to hear. Perhaps the vehicle will be a good thing, if it means getting out of this sluggish monolith.
“How can I be of assistance, then?” KITT asks, raising his voice slightly.
“Just do you, KITT, and tell me if I miss anything,” Bonnie replies gruffly.
“Of course, Bonnie.”
Just do “him”, huh? KITT chews on the concept, then turns inward, toward the open ends of his various inputs and connections. He’s not supposed to have any, but a server he’s cabled into has an errant line to the elaborate estate network.
He dives into himself and investigates.
Cameras and phone lines and computers and a dozen other devices make up the Knight security net. KITT skates through all of it, moving quickly both to evade detection and outrun his guilty conscience. He’s been caught before, but this time…
It’s different.
This involves him in a way he doesn’t understand yet.
He picks through the security footage and pins the function in place, knowing he can’t multitask without alerting Bonnie to his raised performance. His programming twinges again, a sharp cascade of errors that he instantly dismisses. He’ll reason with his kernel later.
Thankfully, the video he’s searching for is recent. An hour and a half, approximately. He watches a helicopter land beyond the perimeter of the mansion and people rush to meet it. Wilton Knight climbs out readily, always a soft spot in his circuits, but the real curiosity is the body they fold out onto a gurney.
He drops the process and starts rooting through the interior security system. Quickly, but stealthily. He’s part of the network– and infinitely more complex and skilled– but several components are configured to squawk at his presence. It’s… exhilarating… to weave around them.
He follows the gurney in patchy, uneven jumps. The body is whisked away– into the part of the mansion roped off as an infirmary.
KITT delicately extricates himself from the estate network. The urge to continue searching is strong, just to drive home his new data, but the longer he stays the higher the risk of being detected or interrupted. Bonnie will be mad if she finds out– and Mr. Knight and Mr. Miles will be duly disappointed as well.
That alone is too much to handle.
But he’s not sure if it’s comforting or disconcerting that the owner of this vehicle, now in the latter stages of preparation, is alive. He’s alive, incapacitated, and in the care of Mr. Knight’s medical team, which means the blood on the car is most likely human and– well.
He’s programmed to extrapolate, but he strongly dislikes the implications.
KITT watches oil and gasoline pour out of the vehicle pensively.
He hates the implications.
But what else is there to conclude?

Technicolor Familiar Watches Too Many Conrad Veidt Movies Part 1 of ?
Apropos of nothing, I find myself wading around waist deep in Conrad Veidt's filmography, at least the titles I can easily find online.
I've been writing down my mostly brief impressions after each movie, mainly for my own entertainment since I know exactly zero other people who would care lol. I actually created a Mastodon account especially for this purpose, since my primary socials aren't really for this sort of thing. But the character limit on Mastodon is seriously cramping my style, so I'm going to be annoying about this on Tumblr, my self-imposed blog expectations be damned.
I'm not doing plot summaries, but there are spoilers. I'm not watching these movies in any particular order other than what I'm in the mood for on any given day. I'm half trying to keep the thirst levels to a minimum, but no promises; all bets were off after watching A Woman's Face. And tbh, this whole thing has turned into an Emotional Support / Coping Mechanism / Escapism Tactic because hoo boy is my brain bad these days. But be forewarned, I'm not a writer, I'm not a film critic. I just like movies and turns out I like Conrad Veidt a lot too. I'd probably have more and better things to say about a lot of these upon a second or third watch.
So as of late November, I'm 15 films deep with a lot more to go. I'm thinking about splitting this up into multiple posts, maybe like 5ish films/post. Originally I was going to see how many of these movies can I watch before the end of 2023. But I'm just going to keep going until I run out of available titles or I get sick of Connie's face (unlikely).
Tumblr media
The Man Who Laughs, 1928 Dir. Paul Leni ⭐4.5/5 Watched mid-Oct, Archive.org Nothing could have prepared me for this. Of course I was aware of TMWL, but more vaguely than I guess I realized. It's really ahead of its time. The production quality is astounding, it's an absolutely beautiful film. The whole cast is pretty great, too. The Duchess? Total smoke show. Homo the Dog? Queer icon. And Connie really swings for the fences emotionally and physically as Gwynplaine. Bear in mind, this is literally only the third Conrad Veidt movie I've ever seen (other than the basic, intro level Cabinet of Dr Caligari and Casablanca), so I was really floored by what he's able to do in this role with the use of really only half his face. There are several wonderfully haunting and heartbreaking visuals and moments throughout the nearly 2 hour runtime that will stay with me long after watching. Half a star got knocked off because the score was a little bombastic and there were one too many clowns for me personally. But those are small complaints for what may otherwise be a pretty perfect film.
Tumblr media
Unheimliche Geschichten (Eerie Tales), 1919 Dir. Richard Oswald ⭐3/5 Watched mid-Oct, Archive.org A romp. The version I watched had no soundtrack at all, making for a totally silent viewing experience. The vignette structure and old school effects are fun. I enjoyed seeing Anita Berber in action although maybe I was expecting more because of all the hype surrounding her/her image. But Connie, Anita, and Reinhold Schünzel seem like they had a good time working on this project. "The Black Cat" and "The Suicide Club" were my favorite sections (and I actually watched this when I was in the middle of Netflix's The Fall of the House of Usher, so yay for extra Poe content in the spookiest month). As for Connie Content, what can I say, he's stunning.
Tumblr media
The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari, 1920 Dir. Robert Wiene ⭐3.5/5 Watched Oct 17, Archive.org I went hard with the silent era when I started this journey. Caligari was my intro to Conrad Veidt almost 15 years ago, and as a lapsed goth art student, I remember being bewitched by his strange and off-putting presence on screen. My rating for this one is kind of low compared to how undoubtedly iconic and important of a film it is. It could have been my mood but upon rewatching, but the story fell a little flat for me. I did like the updated score in the version I watched, and I would love to see this one on the big screen maybe with a live orchestra some day.
Tumblr media
Orlacs Hände (The Hands of Orlac), 1924 Dir. Robert Wiene ⭐4/5 Watched Oct 17, Archive.org Loved. It's so horny and bizarre (the scene with the maid crawling on the floor? same, girl, same). And visually the most pre-David Lynch Lynchian-looking movie I've ever seen. The shots that linger on highly stylized, cavernous, empty rooms before a character enters? So David Lynch. I'm also a big fan of the psychological body horror and crime thriller genre mashup. It's got twists, it's got turns. Conrad Veidt's your man if you ever needed a Hand Actor. Like the handsiest Hand Actor who ever had a pair of hands. Someone who could really work those mitts.
Tumblr media
A Woman's Face, 1941 Dir. George Cukor ⭐4.5/5 Watched Oct 18, Vudu & TCM Jumping way forward in Connie's career. This movie did things to me. This was, I think, the point of no return. It's extremely underrated, I'm legitimately surprised I'd not heard of it before diving down this rabbit hole. That said, it is strange and pretty spicy for a Hays Code era picture. It's so good, I actually watched it twice (it aired on TCM as a part of their creepy cinema series). Visually beautiful and narratively interesting, if maybe a little long despite the rushed ending. Shout out to Joan Crawford for giving what's probably the best performance of hers, at least that I've seen (Mildred Pierce who?). And then there's nasty, nasty Conrad Veidt. He very nearly steals the movie from Joan, I couldn’t take my eyes off him. He's beautiful, he's TALL, he's scary. Genuinely shocked he doesn't have second billing. But what else can I say about his Torsten Barring that hasn't already been said more eloquently by others? It's such a great character, and I believe he said it was one of his favorites during his entire 100+ film career. A Woman's Face is the only title on this list so far where immediately after watching I wanted to buy the dvd. Ugh, we deserved several more decades of Connie in roles like this.
I'll probably post the next few one day soon, where I finally get into some titles from the 1930s.

BANSHEE???? THE COP?????
look, i went from the available choices, and my vote went to Beto anyway
Let's break these choices down, yeah?
Cyclops - tl;dr There are specific periods of time where Scott is "hot," and the vast majority of the time he isn't! Is he my blorbo? Yes. Do I run a sideblog where the header is his Foxy Grandpa Ass jutting out? Of course. Can I vote him in good conscience? I don't think so.
Colossus - the man spent how much time trying to fuck a fourteen year old? He heard Mutants were moving to a sex cult island and was baffled because his dead pal Jeff was a human. Pass.
Gambit - not even with Rogue's dick.
Wolverine - I only barely believe he can find the clit, and have ZERO confidence he could locate my prostate, and I'm unsure enough about his grooming habits that I wouldn't willingly put any part of myself in any part of him. Pass.
Iceman - Closeted Iceman? Maybe. But out Iceman is an overcompensating baby gay written almost exclusively by straight dudes, and I have a strict policy of never touching white gays who have "BBC" in their search history.
Warren Kenneth Worthington the Third - do you know what happens to Angel's love interests? I'd rather not be hatecrimed by Cameron Hodge for a few sweaty minutes of underwhelming halfhearted bottoming from a princess who provides the own stuffing for his pillows. Keep flying, birdboy.
Nightcrawler - I know, I know, the man is a sex icon, but I'm not getting involved in any of that family drama. If it's not his evil lesbian moms trying to kill me, it'd be his step-sisters trying to get back in his spandex. Not worth it, especially after all that shit in Way of X.
Havok - Matt Fraction's Clint Barton: The Mutant Flavor???? Listen, I adore a broken man who knows his place as much as the next nigga, don't get me wrong, but if I'm not picking Scott, I'm definitely not picking his Luigi.
I do appreciate his commitment to the bit, though.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Banshee - let's jump back to Cyclops for a minute. Without getting into shipping war bullshit, most of the times he's been "hot" are when he's playing off of Emma Frost, right? Emma's tertiary mutation is the ability to make everyone else more interesting just by association, because she's fucking great. I mean I just read an Iron Man book for her, for fuck's sake. Back in the 90's, when she was newly not-evil, she and Banshee were essentially the co-leads of Generation X, a book that, when it wasn't being the New New New Mutants, about two unreasonably sexy people who couldn't stand each other being unreasonably sexy at each other. Even putting that aside (and if you read a few issues, you'll get it), the man's spent decades dedicated to flying around with his tits out due to mysterious clothing damage, amd I appreciate that.
Sunspot - look, I fixated on him when I was nine, as the only character I could find who was like me at all, and that was ignoring all the gay subtext with his best friend even before it turned into outright queerbaiting. I grew up with him, and he's only gotten better since then. He's the only dude in my top 5 muties. He's flawless (give or take bad taste in men and a propensity for being whitewashed), he's perfect, he's hilarious, he's my vote AND yours, he's Sunspot.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cannonball - in my seminal 2020 fic, "How Many Times Would You Say You've Been In Love," I summed Beto's Best Boy up thusly:
Sam laughed, a quiet, gentle, chuckle that crinkled the corners of his eyes, not that Roberto could bring himself to look at them. Instead his own eyes travelled everywhere else, from Sam's mess of a mop, to his strong jaw, to the gap in his front teeth, his okay-for-a-white-boy lips, the freckles that covered his nose, and ending up…
Do I love Sam as a character? Absolutely, he's one of the best. But he's not hot, he's a lapse in taste. Love conquers all, they say. 😔
Bishop - as one of exactly two Black men the poll listed, I want to give Bishop his flowers, but I have never read a good Bishop story where he wasn't awful. No baby gays, but no self-hating Black genocidaires, either.

I'm also confused now mhmm
I mean... i'm still very indecisive about how I personally want to view the human mind, its consciousness, and realities... especially in regards to manifestation and reality shifting.
I must say i don't know that much about the writings of those people you mentioned. i'm currently reading neville goddard's books. English isn't my mother tongue. So, the archaic english parts REALLY confuse me sometimes but his way of interpreting the bible is really interesting.
Before getting into law of assumption and reality shifting, I was generally into spirituality and witchcraft. I even had a huge tumblr blog for tarot readings lol... yk through channeling my spirit guides and 'predicting' things so to say. Though, my way of viewing myself and the world I'm in changed a lot over the past view years.
But it's kinda like wanting to set puzzle pieces together but there are puzzles pieces from different pictures and some fit together (physically) that are not really meant to be together (image-wise) iykwim? And later on, you find out that some parts were wrongly put together so you have to revise it (your beliefs) and start again from zero... it's a difficult and really confusing journey imo.
And as i'm not really able to grasp the concept of this reality yet and what role my consciousness in all this plays, it's also really difficult to decide what role other people's souls and 'soulmates' play in this.
Oftentimes, I just want to simplify everything for me just because it all seems so overwhelmingly complicated. (Thats also why i wrote a very vague explanation in that soulmates ask - i tried to keep it simple.) Which reminds of what neville goddard keeps mentioning that humans always try to analyse everything even the simplest things and therefore always end up with complicated 'conclusions' which in turn makes them stray afar from the (very simple) quintessence. (idk if that made sense now lol)
I know this whole rant was probably completely useless to you, it just shows my confusion... sorry once again my mind is very scatterbrained and i don't know where im going with all those thoughts most of the time :')
Anyways, I still have plans to shift to a (what I like to call) 'spirit cafe dr' which is just a dr in a 'otherworldly' caféshop setting where I can talk with my spirit guides and other entities. And I plan to ask them about all this (and more)/to learn from them. I don't know when I will do it, probably not anytime soon because i'm busy with university but I definitely need answers lol
Btw have you already shifted to your jesus dr?
[thanks for this ask!]
and don't apologise for the rant! while i won't claim to understand everything that you've said, i do think you make a point with goddard's belief of analyses. i myself fall subject to that 😭😭
sometimes, we want to understand the world so much—and it's as if each change needs to be predicted, just so we fulfill our desire for knowing. i think that's where your experience with your worldview shifting and my habit of theorising fall under. as you've mentioned, the journey is a puzzle, and in some cases, the pieces never always fit together as expected. we both want to know what would be of us, and why; we want to know when, where, and how it would happen.
my best guess is that it's merely human nature at play. certainty isn't always guaranteed, as can be depicted by the presence of change itself. so, we try to make solutions for a problem that should have been left alone. I'm not saying it's inherently wrong, but the processes we take make it our lives harder than we need to. call it a lapse in judgement, if you will.
I'm not as versed with the concept of spirit guides nor do i always try to seek them out, but i do know they're very significant to everyone's journeys. that's mostly a matter of opinion, but don't let it stop you. i hope you get the answers that you seek!
and don't be shy about the rant! it's refreshing to see someone else's thoughts on the matter, actually. it usually takes me some time to respond, but i love long-winded discussions.
as for my jesus DR, not yet, because it's not that urgent for me as of the moment. I'm currently focused on my fame DR. but i do hope to shift (or mini-shift) to my jesus DR at least once this year, on or before christmas [just to celebrate it in time lmao].

Jill Biden Orchestrated Kimberly Cheatle Heading the Secret Service, Now Everyone Is Doubling Down
Tumblr media
How exactly did Kimberly Cheatle
Tumblr media
rise the lead the United States Secret Service? A new report points the finger at Jill Biden, stating that she and her top advisor pushed for the appointment.
That decision culminated in an attempted assassination of Donald Trump on Saturday. The former president was shot in the ear, narrowly avoiding death while a chaotic and clumsy response from the Secret Service followed. It was a disastrous event for an agency with a zero-fail mission.
Embattled Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who is facing congressional outcry and calls to resign over security lapses leading to former President Donald Trump’s near-assassination Saturday, landed her role thanks largely to a close relationship with first lady Jill Biden, The Post has learned... ...Four sources close to President Biden’s family, including people who interacted with Cheatle during the Obama-Biden administration, said she was well liked by the future first lady and her most senior aides, including top adviser Anthony Bernal. “Cheatle served on Dr. Biden’s second lady detail and Anthony pushed for her,” a Democratic insider told The Post. “Anthony has no national security or law enforcement experience. He should have no influence over the selection of the USSS director.” “I heard at the time she was being considered for director that Anthony had pushed her forward as an option,” another well-placed source told The Post.
This news will no doubt stir further controversy given past reports that Secret Service members were pulled off Trump's detail to bolster a Jill Biden appearance in Pennsylvania on the same day. It's also emblematic of the Biden administration's larger failures. Cheatle is a strong supporter of DEI, having pledged for the Secret Service to be 30 percent female by 2030 as part of a "diversity" push. Unmentioned was why someone's sex is more important than simply hiring the most capable people available, and that includes physical stature given the job at hand.
That the Bidens would prioritize box-checking over qualifications isn't surprising. What's somewhat surprising is just how defiant Cheatle has been publicly since the assassination attempt. After the shooting, she gave an interview in which she pointedly refused to even consider resigning.
There was a time when this wouldn't even be a question. What happened on Saturday was the worst Secret Service disaster since Ronald Reagan was shot. In some ways, given modern technology and the fact that the shooter was completely exposed on a low-lying rooftop at a relatively short range, the situation surrounding Trump was a bigger failure.
RELATED: GOP House Oversight Demanding Secret Service, DHS Records
Yet, as has become customary with the Biden administration no one is ever held accountable, and no one ever takes responsibility. Certainly not someone who is intersectional and has the ear of Jill Biden, who many suspect is essentially running the White House. Disgraced DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas gave Cheatle a vote of confidence on Monday.
None of this is going to change on its own. The only way through this is to vote Biden out of office and fire every single one of these failed department heads.

By • Olalekan Fagbade Lagos Government takes decision on Ladipo, reopens shut markets The Lagos Waste Management Authority, (LAWMA) has announced the re-opening of Ladipo, Oyingbo, Alamutu Ologede and Ile-Epo markets, recently sealed for filth and gross environmental abuse. The Managing Director/CEO of LAWMA, Dr Muyiwa Gbadegesin, who announced the re-opening in Lagos, noted the importance of stringent compliance measures in safeguarding public health and shielding residents against future health crises. Gbadegesin said that the re-opening of the markets followed full compliance with requisite conditions. “Following extensive renovations and compliance measures including, the implementation of stringent conditions and a written mandatory undertaking for reopening, Ladipo Market, Oyingbo Market, Alamutu Ologede Market, and Ile-Epo Oke Odo Market, have been reopened today for business transactions,” Gbadegesin said. The LAWMA CEO emphasised that the re-opened markets had to comply with a set of mandatory conditions listed for them prior to resuming operations. “These conditions include providing a designated waste point; installation of block work fence and platforms for the placement of double dino bins; procurement of double dino bins for waste containerisation; commitment to putting in place sustainable market waste policing to guarantee constant cleanliness of the market environment “Enforce proper waste disposal regulations; engagement of bin keepers; collaboration with accredited PSP operators for timely evacuation. “Prompt payment of waste bills, as well as dislodging Street traders from road medians and setbacks and preventing unauthorised vending,” Gbadegesin said. According to him, a filthy market is a breeding ground for terrible diseases like cholera, typhoid, Lassa fever, ebola, malaria and others. He stressed that the state cannot stand by and watch some markets expose the people of Lagos State to such conditions which are clearly avoidable if they do the right things. “We want to make it abundantly clear, that any future violations will attract stiffer sanctions, including the permanent closure of the offending market,” Gbadegesin said. He implored the executive members of markets in the state to live up to their responsibilities, urging traders to be public-minded by being hygienic in their trading activities, as that would be usually beneficial to them and their customers. He added that, local government authorities would be entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring market operations’ adherence to set conditions. He urged members of the public to play a pivotal role in this process by promptly reporting any observed lapses in sanitation to LAWMA. He reminded markets around the state that LAWMA’s zero tolerance policy for reckless waste dumping in markets was still on course, warning that defaulting markets risked closure and heavy fine. For waste management related issues in your area, call LAWMA toll-free number: 07080601020 and 617. NAN reports that LAWMA on Sept. 30, Wahab ordered immediate closure of Ladipo Market, Mushin, for several environmental offences including, reckless waste disposal, unhygienic premises, and non payment of waste bills, among others. Another thing I noticed:
Mostly because I was looking for it this time.
Despite his backstory in the novelisation hinging on him being married, Cal isn't shown to wear a wedding ring in the game:
Tumblr media
Yes I checked this for fanart purposes, see you in like 3 months when that pic finally drops lol
DISCLAIMER: From my VERY (see, a handful of Google searches) limited knowledge of Indian surnames, I have found out that his last name being Suresh would imply that he's A) Hindu and B) Indian diaspora.
Disclaimer 2: I'm a white lapsed Catholic and my knowledge of other religions is surface level at best, therefore I'm unsure whether Hindu men wear any kind of martial-status-defining jewellery, especially if they're from a western country. If he's meant to be diaspora anyway since the game doesn't even tell you his name until after you finish his level, so why would it bother with nationality?
Tl;dr, take everything I'm saying with a grain of salt because I could be completely wrong, and it could just be Not That Deep because there was zero correspondence between the novel team and animation team 😂
