I hate the fact that the sentence "mummies are rare because we ate them" is a true statement. Like I get that some of the stuff humans did in history would be weird today but that's just horrifying in many ways.

And humans look down on demons for our cannibalistic tendencies... Hypocrites.

Asmo falling in love with MC

NOTE: okay so for my 2,000 followers milestone piece I decided to go with suggestions by @kawaii-puncher and @draco-oshiro and show Asmo a little bit of love considering we didn’t get to smooch him or get any UR cards for him in the recent event!

Asmo this is for you our lil squishy baby!

Asmo and MC were in her room. He’d found himself getting bored one night and craving the human’s attention and ended up wandering her way. As he laid sprawled out across her bed, he began whining. “MC please entertain me! I’m dying over here.”

“You are so dramatic.” She laughed at him as she joined his side, sitting on the edge of the mattress. She began stroking his hair, pushing it back from his forehead. “Maybe you and I could do something tonight?”

“Great idea!” He gushed, sitting up in the bed. He placed both of his hands on her shoulders as he gazed into her eyes. “We should play dares.”

“Dares?” MC questioned with a laugh. “Aren’t we a little sober for that?”

“Not at all!” He insisted, “It’s a chance for us to really get to know each other.” He wriggled his eyebrows, “I’d love to know how naughty you are!”

She rolled her eyes at his behaviour. “Okay, fine.” She smiled.

The pair sat up in her bed, getting comfortable. Sat cross legged from each other, both of them rocked their bodies; excited for the game that was about to begin. “Alright I’ll go first.” She grinned, “I dare you to let me style your hair and you HAVE to upload a selfie to Devilgram no matter how bad it is.”

“But MC!” He whined, “What if it doesn’t compliment my jawline?”

“You should have thought of that before you insisted we played dares.” She giggled before pulling out a comb from her drawer. “Now come here pretty boy!”

He let out a groan as he shifted toward her. As she began parting his hair, Asmo was left gawping at her as she concentrated. Letting out a deep sigh, he admired every feature of her face.

“Okay, done!” She smiled, pulling away from him and distracting him from his thoughts. Asmo leaned over, glancing at himself in the nearby mirror. He was pleasantly surprised by the outcome of her hair styling. “You like it? I knew you’d look good.”

He grinned at her compliment before completing his dare by uploading a selfie on his D.D.D.

The game continued and the pair of them began throwing dares back and forth. With every moment that passed, Asmo found himself getting more and more excited. He’d always enjoyed MC’s company but never this much. Feeling his heart pounding in his chest, he decided to turn it up a notch.

“Okay.” He gushed, “I dare you to kiss me like you’re in love with me!”

“Asmo!” MC laughed, “Really?”

“Yes, I want to see what good kissers humans are.” He folded his arms over his chair with an adoring smile.

“Alright then but don’t be alarmed when you can’t resist me after.” She joked, shifting her body so that she was on her knees. “Well, I guess if I was in love with you I’d want to make this really passionate.” She analysed as she put both of her small hands on his cheeks.

Asmo let a wide grin cross his face as he anticipated what was to come. Growing excited, he held onto her waist as she leant in.

Getting into character, MC pressed her lips onto Asmo’s; immediately pushing him back onto the bed as she climbed on top. He was surprised at her abrupt actions but he kissed her back. Her lips moved perfectly with his, letting out the occasional moan as her hands moved to his hair. Her fingers laced between his curly locks as she bit down on his bottom lip gently, tugging it slightly.

Asmo’s heart was going crazy as she continued to kiss him ardently. He couldn’t believe the feeling he had in his stomach as butterflies erupted. Asmo had experienced MANY romantic scenarios like this before but he’d never felt more than just lust.

The pair rolled over in bed, both of their hands caressing each other’s body. Asmo’s heart was ready to burst out of his chest as MC continued to practically make love to him.

Pulling away from him abruptly, MC pecked one more quick kiss on his lips before flopping onto the bed next to him. Asmo felt desperate for more of her touch as she moved away. Propping her head up on her elbow, she shot him a smile with her swollen lips. “How was that? Did you think I was in love with you?”

Asmo was left in a daze as he stared up at the ceiling. When he heard her voice, he slowly turned his head to gaze at her. Surprisingly, a blush appeared on his cheeks as he met her eyes. “Not too bad for a human.” He spoke quietly, not wanting MC to question his silence.

As she sat up, getting excited to give him a dare, Asmo couldn’t concentrate. His mind was still fixated on the kiss they’d just shared. He was completely mesmerised by the way MC’s touch made him feel, it was a completely unfamiliar sensation. Something clicked within him. He no longer felt lust for MC, he felt love.

*looking up human world dog toys online* Hey Lucifer, I was thinking of remaking some of these in sturdier material so that Cerberus can enjoy them since I didn't see anything like them in Devildom pet stores. Which one do you think he would like more? *shows 3 options, a rubber chew toy that can be frozen for hot weather, a squeaky plush turtle, & a puzzle for dogs that hides treats* I thought it would be nice treat since he seems like such a good boy, sir. Also, is it ok if I pet him?

Send me an invoice for all three if you would, Draco, as I honestly think he would enjoy all of those toys equally, and I couldn’t ask you to put so much time and effort into such a task without compensating you for it.

As for petting him... He might be physically too warm for you to touch. Perhaps if we found some sort of high heat oven mitts... I’ll get back to you on this one, hm?

*knocks politely* Lucifer, sir, I was wondering, does time pass differently for demons when they are actively around a human? I know that 100 years can pass in the blink of an eye for your kind but does it seem like it passes slower when you're around a human daily? I know that some are powerful enough in magic that they just don't age anymore, I'm talking about the ones who still age normally. Sorry I'm asking you this at-*looks at time on DDD* 5:43 AM, wow I really am up late. Insomnia sucks.

To answer your question though, I hadn’t particularly put much thought to that before, as I myself do not often spend large amounts of time around any humans. To clarify further though--it’s not as if time passes more quickly for us, we still experience time as a day-by-day occurrence, it’s only that we are longer lived creatures, and so longer amounts of time seem to pass us by more quickly.

Which is to say, sometimes something that happened two thousand years ago feels like it occurred only yesterday. Memory and time are fickle things.

...Forgive me, I’ve gotten off on a tangent. I suppose that were a demon to spend a significant amount of time around a human that they cared about, time would seem to slow down for them somewhat, as they would be putting the brunt of their attention towards spending as much time as possible with the human in question.

I wanted to make you a present but things got busy & I realized that I wouldn't even know what you even like so I ended up procrastinating on it & before I realized it was already a new month. So this is really, really late but here. *holds up a hand decorated bag* It's a custom tea blend that I created using human realm & Devildom ingredients. It took a lot of experimenting but it should taste good.

You needn’t apologize, Draco. I’m not terribly bothered by that-- after all, my birthday is less an actual anniversary of my creation and more just a day that I’ve chosen to more or less represent it. And I’ve had enough of them that the novelty has more than worn off by now.

* Lucifer takes the bag. Despite his detached facade he looks somewhat touched. *
