I know many people take offense when there is any sort of critical analysis of Dragon Age Origins but I absolutely despised the Golems of Amgarrak. The second time I ever did it was during the lockdown and the only thing it accomplished is making me remember why I hated it. And the thing is I do love Dwarven content but this DLC seemed for thrown together for the purpose of testing things that went into Dragon Age 2. People complain about the Descent DLC being too difficult when I died way more in this monstrosity
you guys have GOT to take Anders with you on the DA2 Legacy DLC quest. his "comments" (and other companions' responses to it) are something you gotta experience in at least one playthru)
A clip from my upcoming seventh episode of Let's Play Dragon Age: Origins with the Dwarven Noble Origin! Episode 7 will be released on Thursday, 8/8/24.
let it also be said that I love the Mahariel + Lavellan worldstate. It's so haunted. You are Dalish, you are not a part of human culture, but by happenstance you're dragged into it and to the forefront of hell to save a world that hates and fears your people. You have no choice. You can never return to your home, to the familiar, to anything you've ever known. You will be an echo; Mahariel echoing Garahel, Lavellan echoing Mahariel. You're so proud of your Dalish heritage, but your identity doesn't matter at all. Doomed to be a martyr for a people that do not respect you and cannot understand you, while your clan mourns, lamenting that they cannot bury you, no life-tree to stand as your memory. You're a hero. You're already dead. You died the moment you left your clan.
Finishing with a quest line in the Trespasser DLC. I played as an elf and went to talk with a Sera that loves the Inquisitor. The first thing she does is ask if they're okay with the revelations. Then I pick up her journal and it's a reminder to, "Ask if he's okay— important— elfy things matter to him. Says he is okay but keep watch anyway." (To paraphrase). I love Sera.
Solas got that Prince Charming “cherry flavored, want a taste?” lips
Thank you so much for all the likes and reblogs on my previous posts. I’ve never received so much support for my art before and I am just so so grateful to everyone as well as the people that commission from me. It really means the world to me. I hope I can continue to pump out art that the DA community enjoys ✨💕
