25. Something your art has been compared to that you were NOT inspired by

the easy out here would be to say it's always anime. every time it's anime. this looks like anime. is this anime? omg do you draw anime

however..... i mean....i WAS largely inspired by anime as a kid and i still have a lot of those traits and tricks and shortcuts engrained into my work, so i can't make the claim that i wasn't even if nowadays i'm leaning way harder into western comic/cartoon styles. so like, i get it, and also hmmm.

i had to go away and think about this one a bit harder and honestly i can't think of anything. i guess specifically someone said my work reminded them of one of the new dragonball movies, which i guess is probably because it's 2d art and there's an anthro cat guy in it. i really don't think most people who aren't chronically online know that there is more than one kind of 2d art

28. Any art events you have participated in the past (like zines)

i don't have the attention span or the motivation to "promise" my work to group projects like these unfortunately. it makes me very sad but that's where i'm at and i gotta accept it

i tested this theory just last year by participating in ArtFight (which is relatively lax and isn't technically a Group Project so much as a funsies game of tag) and i ran out of steam so quickly and felt very guilty and will not be doing it again, probably. maybe when/if certain things in my life change but until then alas! maybe someday. this is also why my commissions are currently closed and i'm focusing on more personal work atm

A Love Beyond Time & Space is LIVE!

Hello, Bardock & Gine Fans!

Drumroll! 

We're excited to share our English Bardine/BadaGine fanzine with you!

A Love Beyond Time & Space is a fanzine from 20 artists and writers. It has been in the making for several months and it’s ready for the public now!

The zine is non-profit. All proceeds after our production costs are met will go towards Greenpeace. https://www.greenpeace.org/international/

For your money you will get a beautiful, colored A5 book with over 70 pages of new art and fanfiction about Bardock and Gine. The cover has been drawn by the talented Katie Longua!

But that’s not all! 

Besides receiving a physical copy of the fanzine you will also get: 

-2 Postcards by @bardockswife and @evartandadam -3 Stickers (about 2.2" x 2") by @rainstar-123 @bardockswife and @raedoodles -1 One-sided Charm 2.5" by @vegeebs
