Oooooh! I'm thinking about things that utilise fire as a 'weapon' irl- generally in performance art.

Devil sticks have this really cool firey variant. That's a pretty damn cool name for a gem weapon too!!

You could pull a Link and have them fight with a (flame-bearing, not a flashlight) torch?

Dragonstaffs, a variant of the fire staff, are a pretty cool option too!! They have multiple spokes on both ends, anywhere from two to eight spokes from the images I saw!

Otherwise, they could totally fight with something similar to fireballs or streams of lava!

The pounding on their head is growing stronger by the minute as others continue to contribute their two cents' worth to the discussion. But I don't... know h-how tenuous his alibi is either, e-especially since with the l-level of bleedin' that Perry experienced, I'm not s-sure how... Maybe with o-one of her skills?"

mainly because all four of those things are unavailable until after the first boss but also because the actual under-the-hood stuff for the skill tree and trinkets specifically is gonna be like A Whole Thing to get set up in the UI. to compensate though you'll effectively have the first big chunk of the skilltree unlocked right away
