I indulgently created a fan animation in an effort to practice animating. "ONI: Thunder God’s Tale" is such a wonderful and BEAUTIFUL show on Netflix 😍 The story and characters are so enchanting and heartfelt. Thank you to the whole crew at Tonko House for creating something so touching. Just ONI: Thunder God’s Tale's Naridon doing a dance challenge to "Just Dance."

I was kindly reminded that April 1st was Sakura Kinomoto's birthday <3 Cardcaptor Sakura was one of the first shows and manga that I made me fall in love with drawing as a kid

‪ Digimon Adventure 2020 reboot ep 1 was just release! And I couldn't help myself!! Digimon just had such a special place in my heart. ✨ Growing up I loved the show so much that I'd wake up at 6 am to catch it before going off to elementary school. ✨😆‬

Taking a moment to gush about Cardcaptors ✨ it was the first manga I read and one of my favorite shows growing up as a kid. I've always wanted to skate like Sakura, sew/make clothes like Tomoyo. It holds such a special place in my heart. 😭❤️✨ about 20 years later and this show still delights me ✨ some loose doodle breaks in between work

Working from home is such a struggle. There are days when I'm so hyper-focused, I don't stop working. Then there are days when I can barely get any work done. 😔😔 Hope there are more "better" days than the other.

But I'm happy that my room is filled with things that have cherished memories and joys attached to them ~ From fellow artist's works and cute plushy gifts to memorabilia from vacations and favorite books.

3 years ago I did an #ootd Work from Home edition. And I decided to do another one to decompress after a day of work. It's crazy to think of what's changed and what hasn't changed in that those 3 years. I moved to LA in that time and I really miss my family back in NJ 😔 but this is the current state of things. Finally found some time to participate in one of these monthly Character Design Challenges. :] Here is my winter warrior elf and her fox.

Storytime:

"There are stories of an elvish tribe loyal only to the Claws, mystic beasts that guard the Land of Snow. It's said they wear clothes stained red from the blood of those faithless and skeptical of the Claws. They are ferocious warriors that live off the thrill of the hunt. They have probably gone mad from the cold. Or that's how the stories go..."

The young elf jumped down from her snowy perch. She pulled down the furs of her white coat to reveal an incredulous expression.

"Young child you must be careful! On a night like this one surely they are out hunting!" The older farmer scolded her gesturing urgently to their surroundings.

As if on cue, the mound of snow behind the young elf began to stir. The farmer was blown backwards in mid shout from a forceful blast of hot air as the snow mound yawned. The snow blinked it's dark orange eyes sleepily. It was not snow, but a fox. Catching his breath, the farmer cried out, "those beasts belong to the Claws!"

The young elf stepped forward unfazed by the fox's appearance. With each step, the gathered snow fell from her shoulders to reveal armored pine guards. A gust of wind blew open her pale cloak to reveal a set of dark crimson robes and a hand gripping a a rather threatening sword. "Well, those are some truly unsavory rumors." Her words had a distinct mixture of displeasure and amusement.

The farmer promptly fainted.
