Die große Janolliwinterchallenge

Halli Hallo liebes kleinstes Fandom der Welt,

@silmarvision, @pol1z1stens0hn-fanpage, @melholmes und ich haben da etwas für euch. ❄️

Wir haben beschlossen die große Janolliwinterchallenge zu starten. Diese beginnt am ersten und endet am 31. Dezember. Vielleicht erinnert ihr euch ja noch an die Janollisommerchallenge. Die Winterchallenge ist eigentlich genau das gleiche, nur, dass es diesmal winterliche Prompts für euch gibt, mit den ihr euch nach Herzenslust austoben könnt. Dabei ist es egal, ob ihr eine Fanfic schreibt, ein passendes Bild macht oder ein Edit postet. Hauptsache Janolli und Hauptsache winterlich. ☃️

Insgesamt wird es für euch fünf Prompts geben. Für jede Woche des Dezembers also einen. Die Prompts sind folgende:

Geschenke 🎁

Für eure Pots auch hier auf Tumblr, auf Fanfiction.de etc. könnt ihr den Hashtag #Janolliwinterchallenge verwenden. Für AO3 haben wir uns den tag Janolliimwinter überlegt. Diesen könnt ihr einfach als tag für eure fanfics verwenden, damit diese dann hoffentlich alle gut sichtbar unter diesem tag auf AO3 laufen.

Die Regeln sind die gleichen, wie bei der Sommerchallenge: Bitte markiert keinen der beiden bei irgendetwas davon auf Twitter, Instagram etc.

Macht auch gerne Werbung für die Challenge, damit wir das Fandom mit so viel wie möglich tollem Content füllen können. ⛄️

From a perspective that doesn’t understand our world, maybe that’s how it would seem.

What isn’t seen on camera for the public, is what means the most.

How we all became cheerleaders for each other even though we were competing against one another.

Sharing stories that only us dirt hounds understand.

Cracking jokes at each other but then at the end of the day when you’re disappointed in your performance for one reason or another, the other competitors point out everything you did amazing at.

It’s the culture.

The passion.

The inclusion.

The goals.

The drive.

The growth.

The inspiration.

The building of self worth.

Learning to see the value for yourself and not what others made you think you were.

Leaving comfort zones.

Breaking limits, holding your personal boundaries and learning that’s okay. I’m a union operator I couldn’t be running around acting any other way than I would on a job site and I did that even knowing it would cost me placement.

Understanding that maybe just because I got camera choked in the first event, I was invited there because I was good and that moment doesn’t define my skill. I can stack a block wall by myself with an open hook, by the video you can’t see that and I had to let that go. Other factors I let get to me, I’ve never had Bill Elverman as a labor hand before, I didn’t know his moves, I didn’t know his response times and that frazzled me coming where I come from. So many variables are involved mentally and it’s okay as long as you remember, you’re there for a reason.

It’s more than a competition. The machines brought us together but it’s the people, culture and experience that make us want to come back. The machines don’t just move dirt, they build friendships and stories that become legends.

If every crew on actual job sites could interact like we did, the trades would be indestructible.
