I don't think Oak exactly understands that he's Dain and Liriope's child, and was raised by Oriana, Heather and Vivi, and not Cardan and Jude's lovechild. Boy, you do not go spying and manipulating and murdering in one breath and being 110% a simp for your monstrous love interest that terrifies you the next, you've got the wrong people.

Literally cannot stop thinking about picking Nubbins up alongside the road. Him getting increasingly more creepy and unhinged, you getting more and more freaked out.. but finding some sick enjoyment in it. Squirming and shifting behind the wheel, from both terror and want, to your own disgust

(Masterpost)
Rules:
- Vote for one of these two characters based on who you personally think should win. It can be anything from "I follow aseriesofunfortunatejan and she talks about this character way more" to "I know this guy and not the other guy" passing by "who are these? This one's hotter" and of course "holy shit this is ALSO my blorbo"
- You may reblog this poll and you may even talk about why you voted for who you voted!
- You may NOT complain about the other character if you dislike them! These characters are all the poll runner's beloveds and the goal of this tournament is to have fun, be silly, be nice, eat hot chip.
Introductions and propaganda (under the cut):
Sebastian Debeste (Yumihiko Ichiyanagi) is a beloved loser from the second title in the Ace Attorney Investigations series. He is very honestly a highlight from this already great game and his writing is extremely well balanced (and a better version of some AA5 guy). He is both a lovable idiot and an endearing, tragic character. Yes, with this face. I have drawn him a lot because of the SEBtember challenge created by someone who blorbifies him even more than I do.
Courier is my babygirl :) Weeeee! His important role in Akudama Drive makes him an unforgettable character. Although I was convinced I was going to dislike him when I started watching the anime, he turned out extremely lovable... somehow because there's something so earnest about him. Despite the role he plays in the story and the importance of his relationship to women, his writing is devoid of romance and that's a huge appeal to me. Perhaps my love for Akudama Drive will skew some votes towards him?
I had to re-do this poll because I'm not 100% sure I picked "1 week" and tumblr won't let you see the duration of your queued polls 🤪

I forgot that I stopped and started this year's ago, and I'm wondering if anyone has ever thought about remaking this at some point. There's only a few drive-ins left in the country and it would make for awesome advertising, too. It would be a great double feature, too, unless that's just my trash taste talking.
