I was listening to Miss You Now yesterday and felt like sketching something inspired by it. I know it’s a bit trippy and the proportions are f*cked but I like it. It’s representing Noireville, (pronounced no-ar-veel) the town where my Superhero AU is happening, during Remembrance Day of the Great Incident. It’s a placeholder name for an event that killed many civilians and 2 superheroes.

one of the very cool things about SMP s, and let’s plays and video games with player cgharacter choices and customizations in the storyline in general.

YOU LITERALLY GET TO DO HISTORY / ARCHAEOLOGY WITH THEM!  LITERALLY, LITERALLY.

each SMP person who’s streaming (or each character playthrough on a let’s play or branching video game - guild wars 2 is a pretty good example but not the only one, woodenpotatoes has a great series from multiple character povs that takes advantage of this, cultist simulator and myst also do this somewhat through the use of diaries and artifacts ) is LITERALLY a PRIMARY SOURCE. 

ok, not sure about that?  they are literally one “person”, ok character, living through the events of the plot who you often do not have time to sift through the massive amounts of material to watch every event from every point of view.

and then there’s the Recap and Edited Clip channels, that weed through that and present it in a more focused format with more curated Story. very important and lovely. - SECONDARY SOURCES. 

EvanMC’s “complete Story of the DSMP” videos, Blueberry TV doing DSMP story recaps, the weekly Hermitcraft Recap, Dream SMP Short Clip Channel, all of these fit in this category here.
