Insektober day 3- Troop. Featuring Krabouic, Kaboche, and some OCs of mine... Metallika (pink) and Lockhart (brown). Again, colors are auto-generated, the actual characters are dark grey with various shell sheen colors.

also some drawings of Alectro for my fossil fighters project... it is very tough to color them traditionally!! I tried to make all the colors look like its alts from FF Champions because I think they all looked good already. However, I will definitely tweak these whenever I draw them digitally, because some of the color choices were definitely just “the next best color” for me... legs especially...

Chromaverse Daily Art Challenge -Day 12: Party

Bluebells School is organizing a Masquerade ball. Drumsturdy as normal seizes this opportunity to convince Eleanor to dance with him but I'm sure this will fail as the night goes on.

Flynn, Drumsturdy and Greeb's outfit designs are based on their insect counterparts' costumes designed by @almightyhamslice on discord. However, the outfits are coloured differently.

CHROMAVERSE FAQ

What is Chromaverse AU?

It is a humanized/superhero AU that takes place in an alternate continuity of the show, Insektors. A Year After The Verigreens and Kruds made peace.

How many elements are there?

There are nine main ones (Music, Flight, Love, Giant, Mech, Magic, Sword, Heat and Cold) and currently one extra element (Merfolk, Chroma of Aqua)

Who’s was turned into a human?

Flynn, Alex, Max, Draffsack (It's his fault), Synapse, Fugg, Wasabi, Drumsturdy, Greeb and Bentley. Peg and Elmo were turned into animals, Peg is still a robotic horse and Elmo turned into a bird.

How many seasons will there be?

Not sure. Currently, three seasons are in the works but I plan to add more as this goes on.

If this is the AU, where’s the story?

At first, they’re only in the form of role-play on a Discord server but fear not! It will soon become a story which is planned to be available on DeviantArt and Wattpad, maybe soon. Fun Fact: It was gonna be animated but for now it's shelved.

Will the rest of the Insektors appear in human form?

Insektober day 23: Fusion

Goldsturdy, the fusion of Krabouic (Drumsturdy) and Goldenrod. I designed them for @emilyrosebug's Fusion Katastrophe story; she calls them Rodbouic in the fic since I suppose it makes more sense. Though, I think Goldsturdy sounds cooler. Like a beautiful staff you hit someone over the head with! LOL.

They're a fusion of two hyper-patriotic egotists from opposite factions, so as a result Goldsturdy has NO regard for Kruds OR Verigreens and only cares about making themself stronger. Their existence is very much a sorta... toxic power trip for Krabouic. Haha, they're toxic cuz they're a Velvet Ant lolz

Insektober day 18: "Hero"

I guess this is like an anti prompt since Krabouic is a military hero, and not a TRUE hero... honestly I just rlly wanted to draw more of the funny ants today. I'm glad I got to draw Metallika and Lockhart today cuz it's been a while and I refined their designs a little... though I still don't rlly know wat to do with Metallika's antennae! Maybe they should be a little curly so they look different from Kaboche's, cuz rn the only difference between their antenna configurations is that Metallika's are askew. Actually, I think I drew Krabouic's antennae wrong too? They're supposed to curve forward not backward! Whoops... now he looks just like Kaboche lol!

Anyways if this is inaccurate to how actual real military medals work im sorry and also please explain how/why/what its rlly like LOL

I didn't draw this late I just forgot to post it. The funny bugs but theyre splatoon characterz!! I dont rlly know anything abt splattoon I just thought itd be fitting since they fight by splashing colors onto each other? Though I must confess I'm not even sure if black ink is canon in the game n I don't know what determines the ink colors. You can't pick them yourself can you LOL. Also I do realize this means Aelia and Fulgor r on different teams cuz they're diff colors but I think thats fine cuz they get in each other's way a lot and they will TRY to work together but they might accidentally sabotage each other a few times lol. also thanks to @emilyrosebug for picking out splatoon weapons for the characters lol.

I guess this is kind of like my gijinka headcanons for some of the insektors characters?? ? Which is different from the Chromaverse cuz the characterz r different races and ages since I designed them based on my own interpretations. I dunno if I'll go anywhere with them, it might just b a one-time thing cuz I like drawing the bugs as bugs (there r several characters of mine who I have no idea how 2 translate into humans cuz their identities r so heavily tied to their bug species), but hey, I do have gijinka ideas if I ever want to use them again??? Also I hope it's not too difficult to tell who's Krabouic n who's Kaboche??? Krabouic is on the left n has "slicked back" hair while Kaboche is on the right and has slightly spikey hair. I think they're supposed to be much older than Aelia and Fulgor but I have no idea how to convey age in inklings??? How old are the ones you play as and what does a fully grown one look like?? I dont know anything abt this game help??? w/e it was fun 2 draw anywayz

Happy Halloween! It's time for a spooky drawing. Greeb is running from the kruds after they've been turned into fungus zombies.

After that, Insektober has come to a close. I want to thank those who took part during this month. Next year is a big one because it will be the show's 30th anniversary, YAY!

Insektober Day 5 - Chromaverse

I haven’t made actual sheets for them but this is suppose to be Drumsturdy and Greeb’s redesigned Chroma forms.

I haven’t told anyone outside of Discord but I am currently redesigning some of The Chroma Warriors forms. I also want to redesign Makria (My Insektors OC) is well for her chromaverse human design. But I dunno when.
