Bridget Flinn at Solomon Fine Art
Last Thursday I attended the opening of Bridget Flinn's exhibition Not Far from Here at Solomon Fine Art, Balfe Street, Dublin 2 D02 T802 which is next door to the Westbury Hotel. The venue was packed. Everyone was in good humour which made the event very enjoyable. Bridget's work was pleasing and restful to the eye. I was intrigued by her preoccupation with grafitti that featured in many of her paintings including 'Stacked Reflection' and 'Broken Baths', two of my favourites. Not Far from Here will run until 24th June 2023.

Kind words about #CollectedStories from my girl Shawna! Thank you! #Repost @sexsiopa with @repostapp ・・・ 📚🖊🛋📻💁🏻💁🏼 This week I had the pleasure to attend the opening night of Collected Stories, an engaging, funny, and heartbreaking play about two writers - one at the start of her career and one at the end of her career. Not only is it a fabulous piece that examines friendship between women, colleagues, and people from different generations, I love it most because of all the love and hard work that my dear friend @fiercejoyful and @thenthistheatre put in just to get it produced. You can see Collected Stories at the Viking Theatre in Clontarf till March 25th. #theatre #dublin #dublintheatre #dublincity #dublinevents #wakingthefeminists #feminism #ireland #irishblogger #irishbloggers (at Viking Theatre at The Sheds)
