There's one part in Duelist Kingdom (when the rules didn't matter) where the Kuribohs multiply and there's an endless amount of them.

He's cute.

Have you seen this adorable fluff ball?! He's adorable and will take a hit for you because he loves you.

It's just a small, fluffy guy. One that Yugi and Atem used destroy many an opponent, an example of how even a monster that seems useless can be used to topple an opponent. But mostly I'm submitting him because he's a small, fluffy guy. Very iconic, even if it's not the strongest monster.

In my opinion, he's the mascot of DM. Of the whole series, really. That's why there's on in each series. But you cannot go wrong with the OG!!

Doll of Dread

"I always get sleep paralysis while sleeping in my dressing room... And inside that the dark, when I look towards my pillow..."

Today's card is based on the Okiku doll legend. A girl named Okiku received a doll as a present from her older brother, and when she passed away the next year, it was said her spirit now inhabited the doll because the doll's hair began to grow. This card combines this legend with the practice of ushi no toki mairi, driving nails into a sacred tree of a Shinto shrine (sometimes including nailing an effigy in the process) in order to place a deadly curse on someone. (This is why the "curse" animation in Pokemon involves a nail being driven into the Pokemon). Thus the implication is that Okiku has taken a sinister turn and begun cursing people for some reason. I'll be honest, the card text on this one just sounds like a bunch of unrelated nonsense. I guess the point is that Doll of Dread is tormenting this guy while they're sleeping? Idk, I'd rather hear about why she's decided to start putting nails in people. I also think, for a combination of these two concepts, they could've leaned a little more into the cursing part. She's clearly got the long hair of the Okiku doll (and is, arguably, a doll), but they could've added the three candle headdress and white clothing that are required as part of the ritual.

Rating: 7/10, Seems like a card Thomas Arclight would use

Love Mitsuba scoring dates with Kou pre-relationship by getting Kou riled up by something to the point where he’s like “I’ll show you…”

This movie is better than that movie, let’s go and I’ll show you. Im way better than you at this arcade game, I’ll show you. This restaurant has the best X, let’s go and you’ll see.

It works on Kou everytime and it’s not until he’s on like the tenth date before it clicks that all these outings kinda feel like they could be dates.

In my defense I started calling him just Matt, but Prince Matt Daemon just hits differently.

I think I first heard it from either @alinahams or @xenonwitch and it's so much funnier!

No hate to Matt Damon though, great actor! And since I think we have a severe lack of good media and entertainment these days I would like to recommend his movie (well its not his but he's in it) -> The Last Duel.

An amazing piece of cinema with some great acting by some of the BEST actors out there: Matt Daemon (of course XD), Jodie Comer - maybe THE female actor of her generation - and the absolutely incredible Adam Driver - again maybe THE male actor of his generation; some GREAT writing that understands nuance, a compelling story, and a great look into the life of a medieval woman and her struggles without turning her into a walking meme or a victim.

It's extremely dorky but he makes it work when you pull it off of his shoulders because he was just not a guy made for sleeves.

I'm sorting almost literally everything I own in the background so, enjoy that I guess.
