Life has been real rough and art has been hard outside of vent shit, but I managed to do a lil something with young Dustdevil and Vabroom! I adore the Roomfamily so much and Dusty deserves to have both his hot jock times as well as being big bro taking care of himst sibs.
Warm weathers have also been putting me in the mood to put them idiots in swimsuits
Originally this was supposed to b transparent but bcs of rendering bs that fucked up but we'll all ignore that bcs I am a lil guy and you don't wanna b mean to a lil guy <3
(Though you can join my disc and see the transparent version there)
A dust devil is a strong and short-lived whirlwind; the combination of wind to create something harmful. Plus, the word “devil” adds into play Ultra Violet.
Obligatory "I need to feed my followers before I'm swamped by college" post
Anyways! I have more ghouls and two brothers of blasphemy that I haven't shared so time to re-introduce yall
Lucian he/him about 26-28: era 3 Fire ghoul. Pyrotechnics and set design. Plays electric violin. Scottish. 6 foot 6. Roughly 7'7" with his horns. Became a ghoul after an OD
Fun facts: he will fuck up any cheese you give him. Goes through at least a pack and a half of cigs a day.
Rust- He/it about 19-22: era 5 Earth ghoul. Decomp ghoul (essentially gets rid of dead/dying things around the ministry). Plays kajon, bassoon, and banjo. German-American. Roughly 5'7" nearly 6'6" with antlers. Became a ghoul after a bear attack.
Fun fact: he does taxidermy and other macabre forms of art.
Dustdevil she/they about 36-44: era Zero earth and air multighoul. Secretary and record keeper. Plays organ, piano, harpsichord and kahen. American. Roughly 5'6. Became a ghoul after her husband shot her while pregnant. This affected her physical ghoul form permanently
Fun facts: had a small fling with Secondo for maybe a year or so, she can't recall. They have a third eye and residual third horn
Riptide he/any about 22-26: late era 5 water and quintessence ghoul. Lifeguard. Plays electric and standing bass as well as 12 string acoustic guitar. Australian-American. Roughly 6'3". Became a ghoul after a motorcycle accident. This also permanently affected his ghoul form.
Fun facts: he's a wheelchair and crutch user. Was great friends with Rust on the surface, even had a small crush on him at one point.
Soot (my Sona!!) he/it/they 20: it's hard to say exactly what era Soot is as he's a product of sibling on ghoul infidelity. They just popped up one day in the infirmary. We do know that it is a fire and earth multighoul. Semi-feral. About 5'5". Plays electric guitar when he can actually cooperate.
Brothers of Blasphemy
Ryshand 26 he/him: French. About 5'3.Began working for the clergy around the age of 20. Was a baker at first until he was given the role of caretaker for ghouls in need. Has a profound hate/love relationship with Rust due to how many times he's been bitten upon wakeup call.
Fun facts: He's a werewolf! He's a bit too close to Brother Alabaster
Alabaster 32 he/they: British. About 6'2. Began working for the clergy at about 16. His horticultural knowledge and apothecary work landed him a spot within. He now records his findings on ghouls and their elemental abilities although not in the most ethical of ways.
Fun facts: he was originally a Strange Horticulture OC. I decided to keep the monocle from the game in his design cause I thought it was adorable.
Is their joint future bright or bleak?
Half and half honestly. For a few years after the Purifier, it's very bright. Cathy and Butch are adventuring, Cathy is a pivotal figure in the Capital Wasteland and is also doing research with the Brotherhood scientists. But once Lyons dies...and Maxson takes over? The Brotherhood starts putting a bad taste in their mouth. They travel out more and more, only ever coming back to Megaton. Cut ties with the Brotherhood...Wastes + relationship with the Brotherhood being on shaky ground? Outwardly, they'll have quite a few threats but at least they'll be together.
Who would win in a fight?
Pre-wasteland? Butch but Catherine will make sure he comes out with a few scrapes and bruises too.
Wasteland? Cathy has gotten TOUGH. Although, she's still a wimp so depends if she has her gun and power armor or not.
Who is a better liar?
CATHERINE. It's scary how good she is at lying.
Who would bring home a stray animal?
Cathy already has with Dogmeat :'). Butch claims he hates the mutt but in reality he loves that dog maybe even more than Catherine. They're buddies.
Would they ever be jealous of each other?
In my opinion, Butch is already kinda hinted at being jealous of the LW! Catherine specifically she's so smart and gifted on top of having a relatively stable home life compared to him. A loving and supportive parent? That's everything.
I can see Catherine ironically being jealous of Butch's freedom in contrast. Cathy very much wants to make her dad proud and doesn't act out...or rather goes to great lengths to hide when she does something wrong.
Art of the above Flygon and previous evolutions shown below were created by myself, for myself!
Name: Dustdevil
Nickname: Dusty
Species: Flygon (Not shiny, bred for battle and coloration)
Level: ???
Size: Larger than average, but not unreasonably so.
Nature: Adamant. Cheeky and friendly.
History: Given to Tanis as a baby Trapinch by Drake, an Elite Four member in Hoenn, at her father's request. Dustdevil is the child of Drake's own two Flygon. Dustdevil was not...exactly the smartest Pokemon, in his first stage. All that ran through the little guy's head at any given moment in time was "bite" and "love Tanis." Thankfully, his thoughts grew more advanced when he finally evolved.
As Tanis' starter, he's usually her go-to Pokemon in most situations. He's versatile, strong, and quick. Plus, she had a custom saddle made for him, just so they're both comfy as they travel together.
Moveset: Bugbite, Dragon Dance, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Dragon Rush, Iron Tail
Previous forms:
-Trapinch
-Vibrava
Fun Facts:
-Underneath those red lenses, Dusty has blue eyes!
-As a Trapinch, he was known as a terror, and for good reason. Base 100 attack as a first stage pokemon isn’t a joke. He was slow but he hit amazingly hard.
-Speaking of, one of his “wins” was... Basically eating a whole pond of Tynamo. They literally could hit him or get away. To be fair though, some of the trainers in the group were paralyzed in the water and needed help getting out of that situation. Yes, they were tasty.
-Dusty was given a full title and it was only used once. “Sir Dusty Trappington Devilsman the first, Lord of the Chomp.”
