I was pecking away at a fic (as one does when one is in-between binge-reading of fics) when I was taken by the cracktastic idea of Tim Drake having a Roomba as a best friend growing up and then somehow my hand slipped

The First Years got into an alchemy accident when cleaning the lab, some stuff got spilled on Ortho and a huge smoke envelopes the entire room.

Yuu opens the windows, coughing, "Is everyone alright?"

"I think, but I don't think Ortho is!" Deuce yelled as he fans the remaining smoke out using wind magic.

"Where is he!?"

"MYAH! What is that!?"

Yuu looks down, and see a disc-shaped device on the floor, making whirring noises, and is sucking on Grim's tail.

"A roomba?"

The roomba turns towards Yuu, and in a younger yet familiar voice greeted them, "Hello!"

"... Ortho!!?"

(Later)

"How is he a roomba!?" Yuu yelled, shoving the vacuum bot towards Idia's face.

Idia gently puts the roomba-I mean, his brother on the floor, the robot happily eating the dust on the floor, "Don't ask me, what was the thing that spilled on him?"

"... It was a youth potion..."

"Wait, this shouldn't be possible-he didn't even start out as a mini robot or anything,"

"Well it shouldn't even be possible for him to be affected either, isn't he supposed to be magic proof?"

"Yeah, but I don't think I've made him immune to potion effects... Gotta update the design later," Idia mumbles out.

"Okay, before you go give Ortho a makeover, shouldn't you help me find a way to return him back to normal?"

"I can do that. Maybe contact Vil and find a sample of the potion- wait. Where's Ortho?"

The two looked around and realized that Idia's room was ajar. Then, a loud scream rang out throughout the hallways of Ignihyde.

"Who gave a roomba a knife!?"

"Ah, Hades. He's upgraded to Stabby now," Idia lamented.

(Later...)

"No, gimme!"

Idia sighed as he holds the tantruming, talking vacuum in his hand and a knife in another, "No, Ortho. Big knives aren't for small robots like you,"

"Gimme a small knife?"

"No,"

"... Nii-chan's mean. I'm telling mom,"

"Jokes on you, she's on my side,"
