when was it confirmed that Kitty's full name is "Katherine Melody Cheshire" and that Lizzie's full name is "Elizabeth Amber Hearts"? I'm not exactly saying it's untrue it's just that I can't find anything about that besides the eah wiki

Yet another reason as to why the fandom wiki is awful

If you've been in this hellsite, you've probably have seen some posts circling around about the fandom wiki making stuff up and not crediting their sources, well, here's another thing we can add to that list: they steal artwork.

If you go to the Ever After High Fandom Wiki right now, you will find that the profiles of Ramona, Sparrow, Humphrey, Hopper, Helga, Gus, Lilly Bo-Peep and "Maisie Muffet" have some pretty official looking artworks as their main pictures. In reality, none of this characters got a proper artwork, and the ones up in the wiki are FANART. All these pictures belong to @boots.catlin (also known as @egito.junior) on Instagram; and what's worse, there are no credits to the artist.

(I will add the rest of the artworks in a reblog since I ran out of pictures.)

This needs to be stopped. As you can see in these pictures, there are barely any sources listed, not to mention blatant fake information, and they're stealing art.

Fandom wiki: do better.

I know this is small potatoes but has anyone come up with a nick name for the person who edited the ever after high wiki character names enmasse? I sense it was one person.

Usually the errors I catch are misreferenced/not given a source (but I know are canon) or the wrong birthday but this feels big enough.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned how blatantly colorist the soft reboot was. Cause not only did Briar get demoted from the main four, they just straight up stopped making darker skin dolls after a while. The last few dolls that I can remember that were any shade past medium tan were Justine, Nina, and a Cedar re-release.

They even stopped making Cerise after a certain point too, which wasn't even a sign they retired the taller doll mold because they ended up releasing another Duchess doll afterwards.

Admittedly, eah doesn't have the most diverse range of skintones ever... but even then, the fact that it's Mattel kept reintroducing white (or white coded) characters as central to the plot despite them seemingly having little to no major impact in the past was, certainly a choice... along with the fact that part of the reboot branding was introduceding new characters that were more diverse but not actually doing anything of value with them.

There's also an argument to be made that whoever was in charge of eah's branding at this point (2016-18) was just trying to centralize the most popular characters in some sort of last-ditch attempt at getting fans to keep buying from the brand. Especially the very last few doll lines that were released, considering they all included Raven, Apple, and Maddie with some variation of the side characters no one was particularly exited for.

i have many problems with eah's soft reboot from around 2016, but one of my biggest gripes i have with it is the sideline of briar on merchandise/promo material when she is part of the main 4 core cast, tho she gets ignored or sometimes downright replaced by other characters like ashlynn or holly
