Hola, chicos y chicas! We’ve been getting a lot of questions about the same-old-same-old, so we’d figure we’d answer all these questions here, in our teensy little FAQ (pronounced: fuh-ack-yoo). 

Q: How do I read from the beginning on mobile?

A: Tumblr Mobile isn’t the best platform for reading a blog chronologically. This blog has been running for 7 years. You’re going to twist your wrists scrolling that far. Mod recommends opening the blog on browser, and using this link to read the blog from the beginning. 

Oh, and before you ask, these are your sweet spots. Go gentle. 

Q: What Universe is this?

A: This is Earth-9319! Entirely separate from the MCU and comic-verse. It’s an ask-blog network, where Marvel ask-blogs can all exist in one continuity.

Q: How old are Wade and Peter? Birthdays?

A: In this blog? Presently Wade is 34, and Pete is 30. 

Wade celebrates his birthday on February 10th, and Peter on August 10th; their respective comic book debuts. 

Q: What is Wade and Peter’s relationship in this blog? 

A: Spider-Man and Deadpool founded a casual friendship, the occasional team up, when Wade accidentally discovers Spidey’s civilian identity. A great deal of prank calls and unexpected visits later, Wade moves in with Spidey. A lot of drama, break-ups, and time-warping shenanigans ensue. All leading up to them eventually making up and making out. Who knows what the future has in store for our spandex-doting super-couple? 

Q: Who tops and who bottoms?

A: They switch. There. Are you happy?

Q: Superfamily?

A: If you’re looking for superfamily, you won’t find it here. While Tony and Steve are very much present within this universe, and Peter is often in touch with them, Pete was raised by his loving Aunt May and Uncle Ben! But we’re not shy to crack a superfamily joke, here-or-there. .  

Q: Why don’t we see Wade’s thought boxes often? 

A: Wade’s thought boxes are present, and do show up, infrequently, through the duration of the blog. Typically in times where Wade is under emotional stress. 

It may upset you to hear, but Wade’s thought boxes are not to do with Madcap in the context of this blog, but rather, they’re a part of Wade’s biology, which is why Peter suffered from the boxes during the body swap event. 

Q: Gwen Stacy? Mary Jane?

A: Gwen Stacy is unfortunately not with us anymore. Mary Jane is around, and she and Peter have the occasional meet-up.

Q: What about Shiklah?

A: Messy divorce! At least Spider-man was there to help pick up the pieces of Wade’s shattered heart.

Q: Eleanor?

A: Oh, she’s around. 

Q: What about the Avengers?

A: Spidey used to be part of the Avengers, that is, until Deadpool’s antics got him kicked off the roster. Spider-man’s Avengers membership was renewed, until a Civil War tore the avengers apart. Presently, Wade and Peter are laying low, but are on-call whenever Captain America needs them. So we might be seeing another heart-pumpin’, spandex-stretchin’ Secret Avengers team up, in the near future! 

Q: Mod, what about sharing your posts or using your art as icons, cover-art, etc? 

Mod isn’t shy for you to share @ask-spiderpool with the world, just remember to tag or leave credit where it’s due! The internet is rough on us artists.
