so. soda cherry would’ve been in the same grade born just a few weeks apart. sodas the absolute class clown at school — he’s a greaser so he has to make up for that to be liked by being funny…or something — and cherry thinks he’s absolutely obnoxious growing up. except. that’s kinda just what she WANTS to think bc secretly she’s constantly giggling at his stupid jokes he yells out in class behind her lil hands and then overtly rolling his eyes when she knows he’s looking at her. just. cherry having the cutest lil crush on him for yearssss bc she thinks he’s so funny and silly and doesn’t care what other ppl think about him — she wants to be more like that. soda thinking she’s the prettiest girl in all of tulsa, certainly in his grade, and constantly is trying to make her laugh but is sooo afraid of what she thinks of him even though he Seems so carefree and self assured.

then idk. something about him dropping out and her not realizing just how big of a gap at school there is now that soda’s gone — how boring lectures are without him to stare at and how much she misses his stupidddd constant jokes.
