They regularly stream classes that you can catch for free if you're there on time. Yesterday I watched a bunch of lectures by Lisa Cron and I really recommend watching them if you get the chance. So I have put one project on hold to edit an old one. My SIX WIP was my first ever full first draft! Written in 2012 and set aside cause.. what is editing? Now I’m pulling it out, dusting it off, and giving it a fresh start. I already remember some of the major issues so I’ll start there and see where it goes. 🍁 🍁 🍁 I think I know what to put in an author website! Woot! Now to make the darn thing. I've been struggling with #revisions for months and it's moving at a snails pace and I'm not quite sure why. I think it might be because I fear I won't be able to improve what I already have which I know is silly. Then I get distracted by my other shiny ideas and want to work on those instead. . Anyways, the hope these next few months are to finish the revisions and be able to send to some new beta readers. I expect that it'll take me more than a few months to finish. So today let's talk about #preptober !🍁 I am super stoked to be participating in this and I have already set two goals for myself: 🎃1. I want to finish at least a rough outline of my novel before the start of November. 🎃2. I will try to find a comfortable writing routine that works well with my studies. . October is alway an extremely busy month for me because so many of my close friends and family have their birthday (including me!) and we have to celebrate them all, obviously. So this makes it very hard to establish a routine, but of I can make it through this month and be able to write consistently then I should be able to do any month, right? 😂 . . 🍁What are your goals this month??🍁 . . Every downside has an upside, even the books we hated. They can always teach you something. What was a memorable book you didn't like? What part about it didn't you like?📚🔥 . . Recently I've been reading a lot of good books, thankfully. But this year a book that I really didn't like was ACOFAS.🔥 What did that teach me? Well, I am kind of losing my patience with Sarah J Maas (please please let KoA be good!).
