Wow its actually so interesting how rinis view the show because i always saw Ricky clinging to Nini because of his fear of change. why would his fear of change cause the breakup, that is a change he was afraid of lol

it’s interesting bc their argument is basically that gina needs stability and ricky can’t be that forever for her because he needs to embrace change and that includes him leaving slc. and that basically she will hold him back from looking towards the future in the long run. but i don’t think they realize rina shippers like the idea of ricky and gina growing together and that’s how we’ve always seen their relationship; not simply just her being the change he needs and him being the stability she needs. sure this could be a point they discuss in s4 in regards to their relationship and where ricky is going after high school but the whole point is they will be able to make it work while their other failed relationships couldn’t. key point: they just GET each other (in ricky and gina’s own words in 1x05 and 2x03). portwell and rini never got each other or even really understood each other. even when portwell were in their “build up” era in s2 they made time to show they don’t get each other (and rini…. i’ll explain further down). rini and portwell were never able to communicate effectively (rini for both s1 and s2….) while in my opinion they will show the opposite with rina. the only time they weren’t able to communicate properly was in s2 because of ricky being in a relationship.

i also don’t think they really understand rina’s relationship because they tried saying gina’s speech at the end of s3 is her just focusing on the past when that’s not true at all (unlike ricky with nini at the end of s1). it was simply her saying that she never saw her feelings for him coming and he was never the plan and started naming their moments where she never would have guessed. her saying he’s not a maybe and he’s a yes to me also proves that when the time comes even if he can’t give her “stability” that they’ll fight for their relationship and making it work. the writers could always prove me and other rinas wrong in s4 but 🤷🏻‍♀️

of course if you’re a rini shipper you’re going to view the show differently but in my opinion ricky and nini from s1 were constantly shown to be better apart. ej mentioned nini being a good different during the summer camp (post breakup), kourtney said nini looks at herself through ricky’s eyes and meeting him changed her in ways that kourtney thinks aren’t genuinely her, and even ricky says in 1x09 he’s back to who he always was. ricky gets the idea to “win her back” because his parents relationship is falling apart. and we all know why their second relationship failed but i guess rini shippers think as long as ricky has changed and began accepting change and grows they can have another chance now that they’re different people. i just feel like s1 and 2 proved that the problem will always be that they were never supposed to stay together forever. the only reason they got back together the second time is because they both didn’t want it to be over and for ricky it was the only thing that felt unchanged in his life. their second relationship was over before it even began because while they loved each other they weren’t IN LOVE anymore. they were put back together simply to have them realize whatever they had is gone. they’re each others first loves and that will always hold a special place that no one can replace (and shouldn’t have to replace… first love doesn’t mean you will never love someone on that level again) but that’s it. at least in my opinion and what i feel like the show was clearly trying to tell you

EPISODE👏 REVIEW👏 hsmtmts season 2 episode 10: get ready for some enthusiastic writing and a little too much looking into details

first off seb doing the intro made my heart happy i love him

ok i know everyone has been saying it but there is no way in hell they’re winning the menkies. unless the writers just go with the main character favoritism route, there’s just no way. however for the sake of comedy, watching ashlyn give us everything in the transformation scene and ricky being an absolute disaster is SO funny to me. like shout out to joshua because that scene made me laugh so hard. also a trio i need more of is kourt, red and ej. i just feel like they would be dramatic gossipy bitches and i love that for them.

normally i think ms. jenn’s reactions are over the top but after seeing the shit show that just occurred 2 mins before... i think her reaction is very valid because oh god.

continuing with the theme of friendship dynamics we haven’t seen a lot of but we absolutely need more of, ashlyn and ricky!! that scene was so sweet and wholesome. i’m so so so glad the writers didn’t fall into the trap of making characters take sides after a break up. i just feel like it’s been done a million times before. but seeing ashlyn being so genuine when checking up in ricky made me so happy. the caswells remain being the superior characters (including gina obvs)

ms. jenn and mr. mazzarra are cute don’t get me wrong but they should’ve spent more time developing that relationship instead giving ms. jenn like 3 random love interests and that’s all i’ll say on that.

i love imagining what characters are saying when they’re just ad libbing. like what could ej, gina, ricky and red be talking about before carlos shows up to start the scene?? my guess is they’re all gushing about how amazing ash is and no i don’t take criticisms on that.

alright i’ll say it. the seblos drama is weak at best. they didn’t spend enough time developing it and kind of pushed it to the background so when it was one of the main focuses of the episode it was kind of like ok?? HOWEVER i did love the resolution to it and the deeper look into their individual characters. (i’ll talk more about this later)

carlos calling ms. jenn mother and everyone immediately knowing who he was talking about sent me omfg. but also who the fuck let these high schoolers try to figure out this transformation scene by themselves?? they collectively have 2 brain cells and they just bounce around between the 9 of them depending on the scene. but playful sleepover competition!! also gina nudging ej when he goes a little too ej 1.0 was everything.

i hate lily and i love sassy red. that’s all.

(im going to talk about the boys/girls sleepovers like they’re each one continuous scene respectively because it’s way easier than switching back and forth)

fun new friendship dynamics!! the boys!! sebbie and the girls! iconic. i know that the show is meant to be in a mockumentary style so we only see parts of the characters lives but i would give my left arm to see the boys getting closer and becoming friends. this is also the first scene where i really noticed ricky’s shirt. ricky is queer disney are just cowards. i’m not a big ricky/ ej shipper but the pretty boy had me feeling some type of way. carlos being worried about seb and their relationship and then red being like well this is why. bc he’s got a spy on the inside was peak friendship. but seriously disney?? just say gay. it’s not a bad word. now imma freak out about PORTWELL OMFG I WAS ALREADY FREAKING OUT DURING THIS SCENE SO YOU CAN IMAGINE HOW WELL I WAS DOING LATER ON. but ej just being like im not ready to put myself out there because of nini i don’t wanna get rejected... again. my heart went out to him. you can really see how much he’s grown as a person. but sure ej y’all are “buddies” also him saying the one thing i’m proud of from my time with nini was letting her go and ricky’s reaction to that hurt me to my core.

alright let’s talk about the girls and seb. first off i love that they’re actually working and the boys are doing fuck all LOL. seb actually talking about how he feels?? good for him. i hate that he thinks that carlos is only with him because there’s limited options but at least he’s talking about it. a moment of silence for ash’s scissor bucket (i won’t make a gay joke. i won’t make a gay joke. i won’t-) anyways... i really thought that maybe ash would know about portwell but it’s fucking EVERYONE. like y’all are that perceptive about other peoples relationships but not your own?? that’s why all y’all have relationship drama. gina not wanting to put herself out there because she’s afraid of getting hurt?? ouch. gina thinking ej is just being nice?? ouch but also gina, sis?? what. also nini reacting that way to the chocolates is so out of pocket. like 1) y’all aren’t dating anymore so what’s got you so pressed? 2) gina made it clear that they weren’t actually from ricky 3) nini you know they had some sort of chemistry before you and ricky got back together so this really shouldn’t be that surprising.

anyways the scene with ricky and carlos broke me. the decision for ricky to not show nini the song was so mature. despite wanting to get her back, he KNOWS that that would only drag her back and that’s not fair to her and he knows it. but his awareness of seblos’s relationship and wanting to help carlos work things out with seb was so wholesome and so sweet and is kind of a big moment of character development for him this season. like he was generally very selfish this season (again i’m a ricky apologist til the day i die but he was so selfish) and seeing him take the focus away from his problems to help carlos out was so sweet. also i need more ricky/carlos friendship moments.

ALRIGHT THIS IS THE PARAGRAPH WHERE I SCREAM ABOUT PORTWELL!!! i am so so so so happy right now about this. the fact that ej asked about risotto but for real was so satisfying and was blatantly like him saying i know we faked being in a relationship but what about it not being fake and omfg that’s so amazing. also gina being skeptical and asking if ash put him up to it and him saying not that i know of?? THE PARALLELS?? also gina this whole season has been talking about signs and finding reasons to stay, finding signs to know if someone is right for her and you can literally see the moment she realizes she said the same thing about the duke sweatshirt to jack. SHE KNOWS THIS IS HER SIGN and that’s so special to me. also ej’s nervous laugh after she says yes?? omfg. let’s look at ej’s character. historically he’s confident, cocky and generally puts on this facade of having his shit together but gina makes him nervous (in a good way). he doesn’t feel like he has to pretend to be confident around her. he’s showing her that he’s just as nervous as she is about this and that is just *chefs kiss* honestly not to be an andi mack stan but ej’s little nervous chuckle and ok after she says yes sounds like he’s letting out a breath he didn’t realize he was holding which seriously parallels tj after the tyrus confession. i’m just saying. ALSO GINA’S LITTLE EXCITED WALK BACK TO THE GROUP AHHHHHH

the seblos song?? i have no notes. it was incredible. frankie killed that shit. it was such a good song. so sweet. so wholesome. also ricky and carlos’s hug was so fucking meaningful to both of them and you can tell. ricky was absolutely beaming because he helped the two of them and it feels like a little bit of season 1 ricky shining through.

Season 2 Predictions

Section 1 characters- Nini: YAC. I'm almost 100% sure that she goes, it would be such a shame if she didn't take this amazing opportunity and allow herself to experience something on her own. But if she doesn't then what? Well as we know there is going to be rival school in the next season. North high. Maybe she goes here? In the limited amount of promo photos released from season 2, she's absent. Aside from what seems to be the first episode. My theory is that she may not get as big of a role in play and go somewhere else where she feels more appreciated . IDK but I'm guessing there is going to be a major arc for Nini venturing off to find herself outside of East high and her relationship with Ricky. Whether that be Youth Actors Conservatory or NHS. We wanna see growth girl!

Ricky: Ricky, I'm more unsure about. I think he's complacent in his relationship with Nini and is comfortable with having his security blanket back. Obviously the news from Nini is going to shake him and mirror his breakdown after his parents and them separating. Do they separate though? I don't think so... It would such a fan disservice to spend all season building them up only to break them down again an episode later. What I do think is that his main strory-line is going to be learning to cope with people not always going to be around and how to make relationships work that aren't always 100 percent perfect. Also I think that we will see him really getting into theatre for himself and taking it more seriously the second time around.  Without Nini there I don't think he will try out for the main role- I'm guessing Gaston as there's promo photos of him acting out a scene that just seems so like that character. Also there's the question of Gina and his relationship with her being unresolved,,, but I'll talk more about that later.

EJ: Oh, I am so excited to see his character next season. He arguably got the best development last season and we can already see this change. With Ricky maybe out of the picture? I think we'll see him try out for the main role and get it. The beast just fits his storyline so perfectly and I think it would be such a shame for them not to go that route. It's also his last semester at the school and nice way to wrap up his storyline and send him off. Or they could go the route of Gaston for him, but ehhh Idk. It just seems like reverting. BUT there's also episode 2 (type casting) so we will see. Overall I think we will see him be the person he was becoming in the last few episodes. More kind, caring, and not so into himself (maybe a little tho). His relationship with Gina is obviously is going to develop- hopefully friendship- and I think that it is going to be nice seeing these two characters who were so vain and focused on winning last season be able to lean into one another. Let's look forward to likeable EJ.

Gina: My girl. My bean. My ride or die. I am so excited to see her next season, it's a little unhealthy lol. Okay, so for her I am also uncertain where they are going to take her character. She obvi stays from the promos. But what does that mean? Clearly she was struggling with her decision so I think that will be her main story line for episode 1- in the end her choosing to stay. I think this will be mirrored with Nini choosing to leave, then from there just straight up DRAMA. From the promo photos we see her, Kourtney, Ashlyn all in the auditorium trying out. From the looks of it, it seems like they are all trying out for the same part. Belle??? If she gets the part... I don't think so. It just doesn't seem like her time yet. So where does this leave us? Maybe she also goes to North High where she can shine brighter and bigger... maybe she stays. I could see it both ways, Gina is not used to being somewhere for long and it is so in character for her to go off to find something new and better for herself. This could lead us to her having to face off against her friends and roommate, struggling in doing so. Or they could have her stay, not get the main role and snag a smaller part. Having her stay would allow them to develop her relationship with Ricky. Especially with Nini gone. Idk either way I'm excited to see her and all her new friendships with the crew.

Carlos: I think once again we will see him as Ms.Jenn's right hand man. Running the play and being his beautiful controlling self. Maybe he gets a smaller role in play as well. These are only the minor parts of his story. What's the big stuff? SEB! I really think they are going to develop this relationship more, hopefully we will get to see them together and happy. Not just happy though, what's a good romance without hardship? Being queer and in high school is not easy for a lot of teens, though while in their bubble of theatre kids they are all accepting and happy, maybe they will show the other side of this, of people who aren't so willing to see things differently. Out of the two I think Carlos would be the one to struggle with this. Clearly Seb is not afraid to be who he is and own it. So maybe we will get to see them struggle through this together, and obviously come out on top in the end.

Seb: I'm hoping he will get a bigger role in the play, what role though? Idk its hard to say. But as we know he's becoming a series regular so we will get to know more about him. Maybe about his home life and the relationship he has with his family. We know that his family works on a farm and he's expected to do that too. So maybe we will see him stand up to his parents and take control of his life.  Overall I'm just hoping and thinking that they will develop his character more and allow us to see a different side of him outside of the theatre and in a more realized setting.

Kourtney: She is so going to shine this season! Main role? You bet ya.. I think she's getting the part of Belle. Or at least fights for it. From the way the last season ended and them alluding to having more in store for her, and the announcement of the second season, all dressed in yellow. It just makes sense. This girl is so talented and ready to take center stage. I'm also thinking they're going to introduce a romance for her... hopefully. It would so fun to see her get her love story. I'm thinking one of the new characters that is going to be introduced as there really aren't any prospects in the cast already. We'd love to see it! On the other side, maybe she doesn't and goes to North High? IDK Tim said that people go over there, so we will see.

Ashlyn: Another one of my favs, can't wait to see her and Gina's relationship. She is obvs going to be like a big sister to Gina, guiding her and helping her through her second semester. Again, I see bigger things for her in this upcoming series. Big Red, need I say more? So clearly they are going to showcase this couple and develop them more as the season goes on. Big part of her story line this season. Moving onto the play, again, in the sneak peeks we see her with Gina and Kourtney trying out. I think she is going to take a leap and tryout for Belle and fail. Maybe this takes a shot to her confidence and we get to see her struggling with not being chosen. Having to take a back seat again, IDK. I could see it happening. Anyways, I think the points of her plotline are mainly going to be about her relationship with Big Red and her stepping up and into the spotlight.

Big Red: The Lefou to Ricky's Gaston? Probably. I think this season he will get a role in the play, it's only fair. Larry is sooo talented they have to let him tap dance his heart out and kill his role in the production. Again we will see him be support a system for Ricky and him dealing with Nini and all of their drama, but he's going to have his own going on too. I think that we will see A LOT of miscommunication between Ashlyn and Big red. They just aren't that great at communication. Clearly. This could be a big source of drama for him and his story line and allow us to see more of him and the writers to develop his character outside of the nerd archtype. I really hope.

I-Land Ep 4 Thoughts

**Spoilers warning

As more episodes pass, the more I'm starting to dislike this voting system lol. At first, it was a nice idea that the I-Landers would get to pick their teammates, but now, it's just too un-objective, ugh. The original 6 I-Landers that have never left just seem to stick together, which seems increasingly unfair.

Grounders Fire Performance

They had a solid performance. I agree that they seemed to have more consistent facial expressions and feeling of the song overall. Glad that Jay brought them together and they did well! :) Everyone looked so fired up and serious. The Grounders are coming for you, I-Landers! >:)

Jay was a good center! He fit the vibe of the song really well. 

Niki's facial expression was awkward during his part when he shrugs and says "gwaenchanha" (괜찮아). The first part he sang was good, but then when he said gwaenchanha, that smirk looked so awkward. I think that's the reason or part of why he didn't get picked to go up.

I’m surprised Hanbin took the vocal part (part 4) that Geonu did. He didn't seem like he's a vocal position. Mm I feel like he hit the notes and his voice was powerful enough, but the pronunciation still sounded a little off.

Voting/ Changes in Teams My prediction was right that all original grounders got voted back to ground. Poor Taeyong who got stepped on got sent back. I thought Yoonwon had decent facial expressions when I watched his fancam, so I didn't expect him to get voted off, but the I-Landers got the impression that he didn't work hard enough. Man, it must really suck being the one with 11 votes because that means everyone voted for you :(.

Sunoo got in the Top 5 and still got voted out. These people need to stop voting Sunoo out because he's just going to keep coming back lol and he deserves to be there. I kinda don't think he should debut with them anymore because wow, they do not deserve him if they keep treating him like this! lol. The same thing with Daniel haha, they both seem more cheerful and have a friendlier vibe than some of the other Islanders. I think they should just debut together with some of the other grounders at this point. Can the grounders just debut a group too? Because they’re winning my heart more than the I-Landers >_<. I think the I-Landers keep voting Sunoo out because he has a more bubbly personality and doesn't really match the others. But I think it's good to have more variety in the team and he seems like someone who could boost the mood. Maybe he rubs the I-Landers the wrong way somehow that we’re not seeing, since he keeps getting voted out even though he does well.

Such a cruel twist of fate that K used his exemption card to save Jungwon, but then caused Taki to go ground :(. K got a good edit here and we got to see his human side of feeling guilty for sending Taki to Ground, even though unintentional.  I think Taki is too young, both in age and maturity to debut though. He still seems and looks like a little kid. Even though he's talented and likeable, I think the Company just sent him there to get some exposure/experience. 

On a side note, I thought it was funny when "everyone" was surprised that Jungwon got voted out initially. Obviously some of you voted for him, why are you surprised?? lol probably it was the grounders that voted for him. I like Jungwon, but it would've been nice to see one of the Original 6 to go down to ground. That alliance is really becoming too powerful. And it'd be nice to see Jungwon interact with diffent people and experience the friendlier environment of Ground. I'm pretty sure he'd be able to go back up.

I was completely off on my prediction on who'd go up to I-Land lol. I was right about Jay, but wrong about everyone else.(Edit: oh I was right about Jake too haha, so 2/4 right. Better than I thought). It's hard to guess who will go up without seeing the performance though. I'm glad Jake went up and got to be reunited with Sunghoon :) and I was surprised, but happy that Youngbin went up! Glad to see him improve :). He only had 1 line again, but he always does his one line really well.

The Vocal/Dance Choreo and Reps

I'm surprised that the Grounders Dance video seemed to be made specifically for Nicholas and (kinda) Taki to be in. It's possible that someone else could do the locking part, but really no one in the show can do the bboying part except Nicholas. There's an airchair to nike part in that dance, which is probably impossible for someone with no bboying experience to learn and perfect in 5 days.. Are the producers giving Nicholas a chance because they want him in the group? So far he hasn't really stood out much. Or maybe that was like a "suggested" dance break and they can change it? haha I guess we'll see.

When Niki thought Hanbin was a better dance rep than Jaeho, omg I got so excited. I was like yes, Hanbin, show them!! I thought it was nice that he thought about Jaeho's feelings, but Niki was right that he should also consider the good of the team. I liked that Jaeho was accepting of the results and what was best for the team. He didn't take the change personally and continued to work hard. He really wanted that part.

When Zico asked who was the dance rep, Hanbin had such a big, proud smile on his face when he raised his hand. Aww he looked soo happy :)).

It would've been so hype if the Jopping team was reunited! But it seems like Hanbin originally picked to join the Vocal Team, so during the mid-evaluation, I don't think he had enough time and he hadn't memorized all the choreo yet. What a shame :(((. I hope Hanbin gets his confidence back and makes it to I-Land! He has that personality/vibe that I just want to root for >_<. I think he might get into I-Land from the global vote, I don't know if he'll make it to the final group though.

Sunoo and Daniel for the vocal reps!! I loved this team :). It was a blessing in disguise that they both got voted back to Ground. If they were in I-Land, they probably wouldn't have been able to perform because Heesung automatically takes up a vocal spot lol and Geonu has shown more of his vocal ability to the rest of I-Land, so would've been more likely to be voted over them. And like I said before, the I-Landers don't seem to appreciate them -__-".

Funny moments:

In I-Land, the 2002 team (Sunghoon, Jake, and EJ) was so cute. The caption was something like "they're not really in sync, but they're having a good time" hahah. It would've been nice if we saw a clip of them perform.

Mnet is on the Sunghoon and Jake ship, and same lol. There's a dedicated 5 min clip of them just arm wresting on Mnet's youtube channel. I really hope these 2 debut together. Sunghoon has a pretty high chance, but I'm not sure how popular Jake is / his skills, since he hasn't been a trainee for that long. He seems popular internationally, but not sure about in Korea.

Predictions:

Both vocal performances were solid. I don't have much to say about them and I'm not good at judging vocals. I think the I-Landers will probably win the vocals round though.

From the previews, it seems like the Grounders will win the Dance portion and maybe overall. From the demo videos, the Grounders choreo seems .. more difficult and flashy? They have the bboy part and they have the flip that Niki does. The I-Landers video didn't seem to have any stunts like that, the only part that I remember/stood out was that there was krumping. I liked K’s intro that he made for One of a Kind, that had a chill/cool vibe.

It will be interesting to see Sunghoon krump next week :0. He seems soft and his dance has been more chill/graceful from the first two performances. So we'll see how he'll pull off krumping.

After the last test (test 4), the producers will pick 3 and the I-Landers will pick 3 to go down to Ground. FINALLY a chance for some objectivity and to break the Original 6 alliance (and for Seon to go to Ground lol). 

Even Seon admitted that he knows that he's probably not there because of his skill. For someone who was on Produce 101, he is doing a bad job of not being evil edited. You’d think he’d know better.. I think because he's older, he's just really desperate to debut and maybe this is one of his last chances. He's probably also not confident of his skills and thinks his skills aren't good enough, so he's been doing these kinda manipulative/sneaky things. If he worked/focused on his skills and showing a better personality more, I think it’d be harder for them to evil edit him so hard. I hope Mnet stops evil editing him tho, I feel bad for him. I read some posts that said he’s actually really nice and would make a good leader, but Mnet just hasn’t showed that on the show yet :/ so idk.

1) Hi! I don't know the whole context of the discussion on Twitter, but I think there is a misunderstanding in relation to the zoom calls. They aren't like the M&Gs or the cameos we saw lately, they're an encouragement to donors and members of the program that focuses on raising the money to build the school. It's something that allows you to interact with them, but its main purpose is to inform donors about the progress of that project. I only have enough for the feminine hygiene pack project

2) or to buy some of the merchandise. Recently there were 2 raffles (zoom call,cameo) with relatively accessible tickets that gave some possibility to interact with them. But I don't know... It's complex because we don't have a common currency. If we had it, it would be easier. Capitalism sucks and the economic differences between one country and another, between one region and another become evident even when there is a willingness to help.

Would you mind telling me where the content of these zooms calls are explicitly stated? Are there rules for what happens on these Zoom calls? What we’ve seen from the zoom screenshots, they are nothing about “inform donors about the progress of the project”. We saw Halloween photos, birthday photos, Legos photos... etc. I don’t doubt they discuss inputs of the campaign, but I wouldn’t say it’s their main purpose. What I believe is that the Zoom calls are a way for the donors to feel encouraged to donate. Do you really think if Bob and EJ weren’t involved, people would still feel motivated to donate such an amount of money?

I was told about these “projects” that it’s relatively accessible for people. I know I maybe sound ungrateful, but... what is accessible for you, may not be so accessible for me. What I mean is, we need to start being more careful with those things. If they are trying to do something that can involve everyone, that’s great, but that doesn’t mean it’s still fair or it will ease the problem of others. Especially when those raffles don’t ensure that everyone will win, right? My luck is clearly against me lol 

If you are able to donate, that’s awesome. Really, I have NOTHING against people donating. I personally can’t do it, so that’s why I was talking to a friend to make some kind of campaign to help and raise money through our talent as artists, for example. We do what we can do, and it’s all good.

As I said, my problem is not necessarily the amount of money they are asking for these Zoom calls. My issue is with people who are trying to silence others who are feeling left out. When I voiced it, a popular account quoted me and said: “no one is trying to silence you and blah blah blah” (my brain simple blocked the rest of her sentence because I panicked).

Can anyone else realize how you telling someone they are not being silenced is, in fact, a way of silencing others?  The person deleted the comment (as they should) so there’s no proof of it out there, but believe me, they did it. Some people are so comfortable that they have friends who are ready to defend them, that they say whatever they want, and don’t realize how privileged they are. Being a privileged person is not necessarily attached to money, think about it. 

I see this fandom with 4-10 group of friends, acting like they are the owner of the world and everyone out of it, is not good enough. When you are alone in your own fandom, that’s when you realize how privileged and unfair the world is. 

To explain my belief, I can only think about this example: No one would (or should) tell a black man what is racism, right? This concept is for everyone. If the pain is not yours, then you don’t politicize it. Simple like that.

I know I have to type this before I go nuts. But I already said this to my sister. I never thought of opening it up to her and Im glad I did. to lessen this feeling.

Okay, so daisy, here it goes.

It all started when I was in the mood for doing silly things at the office, and one of them is to pair myself with our OJT guy. It was just a flirty like talk and he doesn’t react. He doesn’t get mad. He just laugh. He just smiles. And with that actions, I wanted to tease him more. Alam ko kung bakit di nya ko masakyan sa biro ko. He’s in a long term relationship. He doesn’t want to break that because of my sillyness.

And then those routines suddenly changed. I got tired of fooling myself with people, flirting with words etc. I got tired of those “hugot lines” for all to listen. I got tired of being broken. I got tired of everything about pain. That’s it. I got tired.

I stopped reacting when my colleagues teases us when we’re together, even in a small conversation, or walk. I can’t blame them because in the first place, I started this game. His reactions are still the same. ako lang talaga siguro nagbago.

How did I change? Maybe I got tired of playing games. Maybe I wanted to get serious, at dahil nga puro kantyaw na inabot ko, baka nga nahulog na ko. I fell on the trap I set on myself. Maybe I fell on the feeling, when Im with him

To describe him, akala ko nga batang kalsada dahil payat sya noon. and since he’s a regular employee now, a lot changed. physique, attitude, jokes. natututo nang makisama. There’s no dull moment when he’s there. Mababaw lang akong tao. At simpleng kakornihan nya lang natatawa na ko. And he always do that.

I fell even deeper. One time we had a drink with everyone. To lighten things up, a game is set. “Truth or Dare”. It was my turn then, but I dont want to choose “Dare” at baka kung ano ipagawa sakin. Then arvie asked nadinne “tanungin ko na ba?” “go ahead” she answered.

“Madam. Nagkagusto ka na ba kay EJ?”

Stuck up. What should I answer? I forgot what specific word I said but I felt the pressure when they put logic on my words, like hindi pa daw pero baka noon pa.. etc. I dont want anything to change. I dont want to admit. Pero mukhang kakatanggi ko, lalong lumalala.

I know he wont like me. Im fat. boses lalaki pa. maitim. san banda yung “pak” value sa mukha ko. I know its impossible. So I must focus on my work.

Recently, the relationship he had for years ended. We thought it was just another fight. Weekly kasi sila kung mag away. kaya akala namin away na naman. Yun pala wala na talaga.

Everday at lunch and merienda time, lagi syang pumupunta sa room para magyaya. I dont want to think this the other way pero feeling ko nagiging clingy at touchy na sya. I remember it clearly when he touched, pointed on my nape to read the text on my shirt. nakiliti talaga ako don and somebody sees it and chuckled, lam mo na, reactions ng fans ng loveteam kuno.

The last drink we had, he was sharing his story ( i mean story ni “friend” nya), then my sis reacted “grabe ej, dahan dahan naman sa kwento” like she knows I also relate with his story. He touched my head to my nape and asked if I was okay. My reaction? Malamang nakiliti ako and same reactions from the crowd.

The last staycation that we had, i didnt intended na pamasandal ako sa balikat nya ng slight katatawa. Then the last drink we had, sumandal din sya sakin twice katatawa din. What should I feel? What should I react? Wala lang naman yon.

Wala lang naman yon.

Those are the words I repeatedly say in my head everyday. At katatanggi ko, ako na yung nahihirapan. If only it was easy to say how I feel but its not. Especially now Im trying to be careful. Ayoko na ng ganito na nagsisimula sa asaran tapos sa asaran lang pala nadala.

Im glad I talked to my sister. “Bakit di ka magfocus sa sarili mo? masyado ka na kasing kuntento sa kung anong meron ka. Bakit hindi mo itry iimprove ang sarili mo? lalo na sa ganyan, to avoid yung ganyang feeling. Alam mo namang malabo syang magkagusto sayo so kesa istress mo sarili mo sa pag isip ng ganyan, ifocus mo na lang sa sarili mo. na mas maging okay ka. win-win yan e. okay lang kahit di mo ko gusto, atleast okay ako dahil ginawa mo yung mga bagay na mas ikaiimprove mo diba?”

Then I snapped out. oo nga. I’ve been focusing my 2 years thinking of all the dramas. How about its time to change it.

“Am I inlove with you? or am I inlove with the feeling”

maybe Im just inlove with the feeling. nadala lang ako ng asaran. Its about time to look on a different perspective. Nakita ko na to noon. hindi na dapat maulit to ngayon.
