Elba'r pub & bar, El Calafate, Santa Cruz, Argentina: If you are fond of Gluten-free cuisine, come to Elba'r. In accordance with the reviewers' opinions, waiters serve nicely cooked lamb, lamb sandwiches and laing here. Nothing can be better than tasting good chocolate waffles, lemon pie and gelato. Most likely, you'll come back to this place later to try delicious beer, wine or cordial. Great mint lemonade, tea or milkshakes are worth a try here. Elba'r pub & bar. Photo by: Alessandro Grussu

Argentine — El Calafate
Avril 2017
Les bourrasques sont violentes, glaçantes. Le froid « mordant » prend tout son sens. Néanmoins, l’excitation d’être face à ce géant nous fait presque oublier le froid. Presque.

El Calafate, Argentina: El Calafate, also known as Calafate, is a city in Patagonia, Argentina. It is situated on the southern border of Lake Argentino, in the southwest part of the Santa Cruz Province, about 320 kilometres northwest of Río Gallegos. The name of the city is derived from a little bush with yellow flowers and dark blue berries that is very common in Patagonia: the calafate (Berberis buxifolia); the word comes from the word calafate, which is Spanish for 'caulk'. Patagonia, my favorite part of Argentina to go on holidays (during summertime).
I'll recommend visiting Bariloche (out of student season, when we finish high school is a tradition to go sky and it's pretty full of teenagers), El Calafate, where you will feel so tiny being so close to the enormous icebergs; Bosque de Arrayanes, where you can hug the trees and feel the water that runs through them. The Swiss Colony, that I don't have words to describe such a beautiful and quiet place in the world, you have to see it with your own eyes, experience being there; and finally, San Martin de Los Andes, another of the hidden beauties this video doesn't mention.
