BIG BAD THAI RESTAURANT IN EL NIDO PALAWAN A MUST VISIT🫰
Here's my review for Big Bad Thai Restaurant:
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Big Bad Thai Restaurant, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that set the stage for a memorable meal.
The first thing that struck me was the impeccable service. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They took the time to explain various dishes and made excellent recommendations based on our preferences. Their passion for Thai cuisine was evident, and it enhanced our overall dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Big Bad Thai Restaurant offers a wide range of traditional Thai dishes, and each one we tried was bursting with authentic flavors. The ingredients were fresh, and the dishes were expertly prepared. From the rich and creamy curries to the perfectly balanced stir-fries, every bite was a delightful explosion of taste.
One standout dish was the Pad Thai. It was beautifully presented, with a vibrant combination of noodles, fresh vegetables, succulent shrimp, and a tantalizing sauce that had just the right amount of tanginess. The blend of sweet, sour, and savory flavors was absolutely divine.
Another highlight was the Tom Yum soup. It had a bold and robust flavor profile, with a perfect balance of spiciness and tanginess. The soup was generously filled with plump shrimp, mushrooms, and aromatic herbs, creating a comforting and satisfying bowl of goodness.
The attention to detail extended to the restaurant's atmosphere as well. The décor was tastefully done, with Thai-inspired elements that added to the overall charm. The seating arrangements were comfortable, and the restaurant had a cozy yet lively atmosphere, making it an ideal place for both intimate dinners and group gatherings.
Overall, Big Bad Thai Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From the warm and attentive service to the incredible flavors and inviting ambiance, it was a dining experience to remember. Whether you're a Thai food enthusiast or simply looking to explore new flavors, I highly recommend visiting Big Bad Thai Restaurant. You won't be disappointed!
PS: We had a nice spot during on our visits right front on the El Nido Beach🫰💙
📍Location: here.
➡️ Fb page: here.
If you are in El Nido guys try to have a quick stop to this restaurant if you are a vegetarian I must say you are in a good place.🫰
Note: If you are a short Filipina like me you cannot have a chance to look yourself in the toilet on the mirror because the mirror is high I mean the mirror is taller than me lol. Anyway is not a problem with me because I saw a similar like in the Italian Pizza hub.
WE DO LOVE THAI FOOD!!!
Have a safe travels to you'll.
Love

Hello Puerto Prinsesa!
Adventurers and beach bums flock to the towering karst cliffs of El Nido, and divers and nature lovers are drawn to the lakes of Coron. But long before they made a mark on Palawan’s tourism map, Puerto Prinsesa was already giving tourists of all types a little taste of what the province has to offer.
The last time I went to Palawan was in 2016, I was a first year law student travelling alone because I needed some time and space to get away from the expectations, the conversations, the noise, the media, and the pressure. My law school experience isn't exactly how I imagined it, and I wasn't really your perfect stellar student, but I somehow managed. Today marks my first year as a lawyer, and looking back, honestly I wouldn't change a thing.
When in Puerto Prinsesa, I would totally recommend visiting Badjao Seafood Restaurant. This restaurant foremost concretizes the warmth unique to Filipino dining through its interior centered on wooden materials and a food selection that highlights local seafood dishes. Best believe that you can sail through the sea even while statically perched on your seat when you dine here. A must try!

First stop — Kinabuch!
This place was recommended by some of our friends, and a few of the locals upon our arrival in our airbnb. Talk about the power of word of mouth. This laidback place is an open-air restaurant with a large parking space centrally located in downtown Puerto Princesa. Few huts are scattered outside, and the whole area is surprisingly well-lit. The food is good and definitely filling, and our cocktails are freshly made.
I have a firm feeling that this trip is going to be epic!

BECOME ONE WITH PALAWAN!
Characterized by lush, palm trees, vast yet breathtaking caves, cerulean beaches, and salty breeze paired with tropical essence, this can only be seen nowhere but in Palawan. Located southwest of the Philippines, Palawan is a long and narrow group of islands near the South China and Sulu seas. It is the largest province in the country in terms of total area of jurisdiction. Puerto Princesa being its capital, highlights some of the world's most serene and secluded beaches, thus making it a suitable haven for those seeking solitude and tranquility. The island's pristine and bespoke beaches are surrounded by crystal-clear waters, making them one of Palawan's prime attractions. Pack your bags, wear your slippers, lock that seashell necklace up, and prepare as we take a peek at some of the most gram-worthy destinations that will fill your calendars red this upcoming summer.
Tumblr media
THE CROWN’S IN CORON
Explore the magnificent island of Coron in Palawan. The tropical island is located in the Philippine province of Palawan. The place is best known for its world-class World War II shipwreck diving. Not only that, the island also has stunning Palawan beaches, limestone karst landscapes, pure freshwater lakes, and coral reefs in shallow water.
Tumblr media
SMITH POINT
A little more relaxed and ideal for family vacations and diving excursions is Smith Point Beach-Coron. Near Banol Beach on the northwest shore of Coron Island, Smith Point Beach is tucked away in a tiny, nearly circular inlet. The beach is fewer than 100 meters long, and the bay's stunning limestone karst structures are scattered across its glistening waters. Smith Point Beach is a fantastic place for swimming and snorkeling since the bay is home to vibrant coral reefs that are home to a vast marine life, including a lot of starfish. Here, you may locate a few beach shacks where you can eat and drink freshly served foods.
Tumblr media
KAYANGAN LAKE
The island is ideal for diving excursions since it is a little more laid-back and has a lot to offer tourists. Lakes, lagoons, and lovely white-sand beaches may be found on the island. You may unwind, and get away from the daily grind in this tropical location. No other Kayangan Lake is one of the top sights on Coron Island hopping trips. Take advantage of the opportunity to visit Coron's tourist attractions, which include island-hopping to multiple beaches and lagoons.
Tumblr media
CALAUIT SAFARI PARK
Calauit Safari Park is a 3,700-hectare island off the coast of Palawan where you may explore the game reserve and wildlife sanctuary of the Philippines. Hundreds of giraffes, elans, waterbucks, Calamian deer, monkeys, freshwater crocodiles, zebras, bear cats, bushbuck, and a variety of birds can be found there, along with other exotic African and endemic Palawan plant and animal species.

PUERTO PRINCESA
Puerto Princesa is a seaside city on the western Philippine Island of Palawan. The biodiverse Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park serves as a starting point for boat tours into the enormous limestone caves and underground river. Around Puerto Princesa Bay, which is home to long-nosed dolphins, turtles, and rays, are numerous dive spots. The 19th-century Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral is located close to the port.
Subterranean River National Park in Palawan encompasses one of the world's most awe-inspiring cave systems, featuring spectacular limestone karst landscapes, pristine natural beauty, intact old-growth mangroves, and distinctive wildlife.

EL NIDO
El Nido in Palawan houses the most beautiful locations in the world. Obscure lagoons, limestone formations, sandbanks, stunning islands, and pearl-white beaches with blue water are just the tip of what the 7,641 islands in the Philippines have in store for you. The El Nido island hopping tours are the most popular reason to visit this little town, but there is more!
One of the most well-known tropical havens on Palawan Island is El Nido. There are several magnificent white sand beaches and amazing lagoons in this coastal town, which is situated on the northernmost tip of Palawan. Everyone will have the incredible opportunity to see the most breathtaking rock formations and learn about the underwater environment if plan to traverse El Nido. You may chill, enjoy yourself, unwind, and get closer to nature at this covert paradise.

BEST BEACH VACATION IN THE PHILIPPINES
The Philippines is a country rich in natural wonders, best beach, and tropical forest. The country has the largest archipelago in the Pacific Ocean and many of its islands are known to be some of the top beaches destinations in Asia.
Beach holidays are the perfect way to escape from the hum-drum of daily life. Your mind, body and soul need some time away from work, school, or your bustling city life. If you’ve ever considered taking a beach vacation but aren’t really sure what place to go to then read these top beach recommendations of my favorite getaways in the Philippines!
Tumblr media
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES IN THE PHILIPPINES
Boracay Island
Looking at the pictures of this beautiful island, you would think that it is simply paradise. It is surrounded by water and white sandy beaches. I am sure if you have ever visited Boracay, you agree that its crystal clear waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
It’s hard to deny the appeal of a tropical island getaway, especially if you come from the cold and stressful world of work. But it’s not always easy to find a place that has both beautiful scenery and is an enjoyable experience for you and your family.
With its silky-soft warm white sands, clear blue waters and beautiful tropical climate, Boracay surely deserves a place in the top 15 of most beautiful beaches in the Philippines.
They provide a variety of lodgings to fit everyone’s needs. White Beach, for example, has three stations. Station 1 features luxury resorts, Station 2 has mid-range resorts, and Station 3 includes backpacker-friendly hotels. Drool-worthy restaurants, on the other hand, are dispersed among the three stations.
White Beach is also an excellent location for shopping and experiencing Boracay’s nightlife. There are some beaches that are more tranquil and vast, such as Puka Beach. There, you may participate in kayaking, swimming, or even receive a nice massage
Best Beach Coron, Palawan
When not at the strange islands of El Nido, visitors go to Coron in northern Palawan. Unlike El Nido, the islands of Coron radiate a more laid-back and homely ambiance that is appreciated by budget travelers and nature enthusiasts.
There are at least three island-hopping cruises available that will take you to the town’s gorgeous white sands, abundant marine life, and the most Instagram-worthy tropical landscapes you’ll ever see. Destinations such as Malcapuya Island and CYC Beach—Coron’s only public beach—are ideal for snorkeling and getting up close and personal with breathtaking coral reefs.
Mahinog Island Camiguin
Mahinog is a town in the province of Camiguin (Northern Mindanao) in the Philippines, some 456 miles (or 734 kilometers) south-east of Manila, the country’s capital city. Camiguin, an island, was formerly considered secluded but is now one of the Philippines’ most popular tourist destinations. With so many Instagram – worthy Camiguin tourist sites, the Island Born of Fire becomes the Island on Fire.
Camiguin is well-known for its tourist attractions, which include White Island, Mantigue Island, Mount Hibok-Hibok, and the recently named National Heritage Sites, the Bonbon Church Ruins and the Sunken Cemetery. Camiguin Island has kept its rustic appeal despite being a famous tourist destination.
Santa Fe Bantayan Island Cebu
The beautiful beaches of Santa Fe will revive your mind, body, and soul. Visit secluded stretches of white beach, swim in crystal-clear water, or take a boat to tropical islands to get away from the crowds.
Santa Fe is one of Bantayan Island’s three main communities. It is located in the island’s southeast corner and is conveniently accessible to the island’s other attractions.
Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines
Great Santa Cruz Island is a little inhabited island in Zamboanga City in the Philippines’ southern region famed for its pink coralline beaches. The island, located 4 kilometers (2.49 miles) south of downtown at the Santa Cruz Bank in the Basilan Strait, is one of the Philippines’ few pink sand beaches.
With its 7,641 islands, the Philippines is one of the world’s most popular beach destinations. Aside from the famed White Beach of Boracay Island, the Philippines offers other powdery soft gorgeous white beaches that surround the main island groups of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The Philippines is a great destination for beach lovers. With over 7,000 islands, you can find something for everyone. From stunning white sand beaches to crystal clear blue waters, the Philippines offers something for everyone. Whether you are looking for a relaxing beach vacation or a more adventurous one, the Philippines has it all.
The beaches of the Philippines are also great for snorkeling, scuba diving, and other water sports. The locals are known to be friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. So why not take a trip to the Philippines and experience its amazing beaches? You won’t regret it!

Day 2-Isla Gigantes Day Tour
OMG! Long time no post! I'm so sorry dahil napaka ningas kugon ko sa part na nastuck ako sa day 1 of our Iloilo trip, kahit eto yung pinakahighlight ng vacation namin. Well, siguro pwede ko iexcuse ang sarili ko for working all this time. HAHA today is Saturday so I can spare some time here since I can't go out coz it's raining. chz
No worries! kaya pa naman tandaan. Travel blog is baaack.
Day 2 as per our itinerary is Isla Gigantes Day Tour. Here, we took a private van from Iloilo City to Carles, it would take around 2 hours to get there so it was a long ride. We got up early so we could leave on time and we also have to go back to the city after the tour for we will be leaving from Iloilo to Bacolod via Ocenjet the next day and the port is just 10 mins away from the condo we stayed at.
Here are some islands we visited (though I remember visiting at least 6 islands)
Tangke Saltwater Lagoon
Antonia Beach
Cabugao Gamay
Bantigue's Sandbar
Tulunaun Island
Iloilo's Islands are truly magical. Since I visited Iloilo a week after El Nido, I expected some snorkling activities pero wala haha. I even bought my snorkling goggles to see what's underneath pero wala talagang laman sa ilalim (Antonia Beach may fishes but wala masyado corals) . Super clean and pretty ang Iloilo, pero if you'd like to have some water activities, go for Palawan, doon, grabe your eyes would be full from the breathtaking view underneath.
Iloilo has its own beauty, if you would look from the above, talagang may angking ganda ito apart from Palawan and the food is so so so so good!
Water activities: Palawan
Food: +1000 Iloilo! I cannot stress this out more! Super cheap but masarap talaga! Compared to Palawan na medyo pricey ang food
Here's our group snap in Bancal Port coz apparently, nasiraan yung boat namin nung malapit na kami sa Lagoon. Well it's not anyone's fault, baka may balat lang isa samin. HAHAHAHA
Thank you YAN Ticketing Services for a hassle free vacation! If you are planning to go to Iloilo or Bacolod, hit their message button sa FB, they will be glad to assist you!

Pause The Journey
(A Bucket List Journey)
Do you love beaches? Do tan lines, white sands, amazing rock formations, crystal water; good quality of foods excites you? Are you in for an extreme island adventures? Well get your bikinis ready and travel with me through my experiences in one of the most beautiful places in the world -- PALAWAN, PHILIPPINES!
From Cebu it takes 1 hour ride on an airplane to Busuanga Airport and afterwards a van of your chosen resort will take you to Coron, Palawan, City Proper then we rode on a boat for 5-10 minutes to go to an area where our resort (Coron Underwater Garden Resort) is located. In our resort we rented a floating room for family.
Since Palawan is a place where you can see beautiful islands and beaches the common transportation is a boat and coastguards are very strict on the safety of the people that is why they will check if passengers are wearing a life jacket. You can also rent a kayak, googles and snorkeling equipment to best enjoy the island activities. Lastly, they have package tour (for islands and beaches) that you want to go to with a lunch buffet.
TIP #1: choose a package tour island and beach adventure so that your tour will be spontaneous and you can choose famous tourists spots. And specially in  package tour, lunch is included (seafood, rice, meat and etc. )
CORON, PALAWAN
Tumblr media
For our first tour we went to Malcapuya Island, where fine white sand that is perfect for picture taking and relaxing.
Tumblr media
It is a bit windy but the place is worth it
It is located 2 hours away from the town of Coron. Most tour groups around town offer packages going to Malcapuya Island. It is usually packaged with Bulog Dos and Banana Island. The boat ride to this island can be a little rough because of the strong waves but it is definitely worth it. The boats will dock at the back beach which is not as nice as the main beach. A short walk will lead you to white sand beach facing west. Among all the beaches we have visited so far, Malcapuya’s sand rivals Boracay’s. It is as white and as powdery as the one in White Beach, Boracay. Credits to https://thelostkids.ph/2016/03/13/malcapuya-island-palawan-powdery-white-sand-island-in-coron/
Tumblr media
Twin Lagoon is where you can see clear water and beautiful rock formations that is instagrammable.
Overall, I can see why Twin Lagoon is so popular. It is lovely to swing through, probably especially when there are not jellyfish blooms, and it is hard to imagine anywhere in the world that looks quite like it. Though I wish I had seen it in the early morning hours without people, I am still glad I saw it, crowds and all. If you are island hopping in Coron, definitely stop by and give it at least an hour of your time. Be sure to bring your (waterproof) camera, the pictures are amazing. From https://www.bemytravelmuse.com/twin-lagoon-coron-palawan/
Tumblr media
Next stop is the Kayangan Lake, with a crystal water and beautiful scenery.
Tumblr media
This picture was taken before we went to El Nido. You can see through our faces that we enjoyed our experience and we spent more time and bond for each other.
We spent 3 days and 2 nights in Coron and we travelled via fastcraft to El Nido, Palawan. Trysicle is one of the transportation in El Nido with a fare of 50-100 pesos depending on where you will go.
We booked a nearby French inspired hotel that caters different variety of Filipino, American and French cuisines or dishes.
 EL NIDO, PALAWAN
Tumblr media
A view from our hotel in El Nido
Tumblr media
Our tour starts at Snake Island it is called snake island because when low tide you can see a sandbar that looks like snake.
Tumblr media
TIP #2: if you want to pay less on a boat ride for island adventure never take a private or exclusive ride because it is very expensive, like for us we spent 20-30 thousand pesos per ride for the boat that is exclusive only for us family.
Tumblr media
Next is Small and Big lagoon is a lagoons with beautiful limestone formations with clear water the best way got explore here is through kayaking because there were small passage. You can also do snorkeling and swimming to relax and enjoy the water and scenery.
Tumblr media
Me and my cousins in the lagoon
Tumblr media
Bikinis out and let your confidence reign
Tumblr media
And the last stop is PaPaya Island where you can enjoy more and do things you want to do like picture taking, swimming and eating.
Tumblr media
Enjoying the swing and island life in PaPaya Island
Tumblr media
Lunch buffet
Tumblr media
Family picture last dinner in El Nido before we go home to Cebu
Palawan is my dream destination ever since and I finally achieved my bucket list which made me happy. It was my unforgettable experience and forever stays in my heart. I hope you like it!

El Nido, Palawan: Wonders of Lagoons (Tour A)
Tumblr media
Waking up the next day seeing those gigantic limestone cliffs, El Nido never fails to fill me with fascination with its splendors. It was surreal, seeing those rock formations surrounded by crystal blue waters, as if it was alluring you to another part of the world.
A perfect way to celebrate our birthday, we hopped on the boat and started our tour, discovering another wonders of Mother Nature.
Tumblr media
SEVEN COMMANDOS BEACH
Seven Commandos Beach, named after a ship that was stranded on the island, gives a majestic welcome with its wide stretch of white sand and dozens of palm trees.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After we jumped off the boat, we left our things in one of the nipa huts and explored the island. Apart from the beach where you can snorkel or swim, there’s a volleyball net and a basketball ring and some vendors who sell buko juice and other drinks. A perfect appetizer for today’s tour, we spent nearly an hour swimming and enjoying the sight of the nearby islands. This is normally the last stop of the tour so we had the beach to ourselves. Our tour guide even offered us to take some pictures at tinuturuan niya pa kami saan maganda mag pose HAHAHA thanks, Kuya!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
SMALL LAGOON
In time for lunch, our boatmen started cooking our food while we did some kayaking towards the lagoon.
One has to paddle through a small hole to get to the Small Lagoon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
An opening to the richness of nature, Small Lagoon offers us a peaceful feeling with its calm and cold waters enclosed with limestone cliffs. The water is clear enough for you to have a captivating sight of the corals and fishes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After devouring our by-the-boat lunch, we cruised towards our next destination.
Secret Lagoon
Situated on the other side of the huge rocks, we had to swim and crawl, one by one, through a small hole to get inside the Secret Lagoon. There’s a pretty huge crowd when we arrived here so we had to wait in line before finally getting inside. Secret Lagoon is a small pool of waist-deep water surrounded by towering cliffs, it’s like entering another side of El Nido.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shimizu Island
For our next spot, our boatmen decided that we do some snorkeling instead of going to the shore of the Shimizu Island, which was named after a Japanese scuba diver who unfortunately wasn’t able to come back after exploring the island.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Big Lagoon
Tumblr media
Our boat sped away from the island going to our last destination and about 30 minutes later, we anchored in the middle of the sea. We opted not to rent a kayak again however, dahil malakas yung charm natin (hahaha joke), our tour guide gave us a free kayak ride! As our kayak glided through the entryway of the lagoon, we were welcomed once again with sky-high cliffs that lined up on both sides. The water is shallow and very clear that some of the tourists were actually walking. But as you go farther, the water becomes deeper and you feel like uncovering a hidden paradise in another dimension. Big Lagoon is like a postcard turn into reality. It was definitely a sight to behold.
Tumblr media
By the time we went back to the shore, the weather became gloomy and soon started raining. It was pretty hard that the wind and waves were getting intense. After an hour sailing, we arrived safely with a feeling of enchantment with nature’s grandeur.
Tumblr media
The same day after getting back to our place, we traversed going back to Puerto Princesa and squeezed in Underground River tour the next day.

Hard earned money to be spent in worthwhile and life-changing travel experience should be the life to be lived on, but make sure to strategize a sustainable and stable financial decisions. ✔️Make sure to have a source of income. May it be from a business, or a monthly salary. ✔️Set aside an emergency fund based on your basic personal expenditures that would last for atleast 3 months without income. Much better to put it on a separate bank account. ✔️ In my personal opinion, we as young adults should prioritize health and wealth insurance. Common nowadays are VUL’s or combination of Life and Investment plan. Just be more cautious on choosing the right company to trust. ✔️ Save up for your planned vacation. It’s always good to book advance and pay for it right away so that you won’t be shock of many booking receipts all at once. But make sure to pick for great deals. (I’m always a victim of impulsive bookings before prices go low!) ✔️Get yourself a goodcredit card that will only be used for booking purposes! Credit card is a powerful tool that should only be used by a responsible human. Pay your credits ASAP! ✔️Be minimalist and don’t bring to much, just essentials and comfy clothes will do. Do not pretend that your somebody whenever you travel, just be yourself and enjoy every moment with calmness under excitement. ✔️Get yourself a good camera! Not for instagrammable photos alone but also for your old self to remember that once in your life you chose to set your foot apart from your comforts and go beyond the unknown adventures! ✔️ Lastly, go with the people you love. Make memeable or memorable moments with them. All of us will not last forever so make a lasting experience with your family, friends or special someone.

WHY RENTING A MOTORBIKE IS A MUST WHEN YOU ARE IN THE ISLAND
Here's a message highlighting why renting a motorbike on the island is a must for exploring off the beaten paths:
Are you ready for an unforgettable adventure on the island? Renting a motorbike is an absolute must if you want to explore more and venture into the off beaten paths that hold hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
Imagine the freedom of cruising along winding roads, feeling the wind in your hair, and having the flexibility to stop wherever your curiosity takes you. With a motorbike, you have the power to create your own itinerary and immerse yourself in the island's natural beauty and local culture.
Unlike traditional tours or relying on public transportation, renting a motorbike gives you the opportunity to reach remote and untouched locations that are often inaccessible by other means. From secluded beaches and picturesque viewpoints to charming villages tucked away in the countryside, the island's hidden treasures are yours to uncover.
Exploring on a motorbike allows you to set your own pace and linger in places that captivate your senses. Take a spontaneous detour to a lesser-known waterfall, stop by a local market to savor authentic cuisine, or simply pull over to admire breathtaking vistas that only a few have witnessed.
Not only does renting a motorbike provide a sense of adventure, but it also offers a more immersive experience with the local culture. You can interact with friendly locals, learn about their way of life, and stumble upon authentic experiences that are off the tourist radar.
Of course, safety should always be a priority. Before embarking on your two-wheeled journey, ensure that you have the necessary riding skills and knowledge of local traffic rules. Don't forget to wear a helmet, use caution on unfamiliar roads, and stay aware of your surroundings.
So, if you're seeking an extraordinary exploration beyond the typical tourist spots, renting a motorbike is the key to unlocking the island's hidden wonders. Get ready to create unforgettable memories as you navigate through off the beaten paths, discovering the true essence of this captivating destination."
Please note that this message is for illustrative purposes and assumes the context of a fictional island. Always prioritize safety and adhere to local rules and regulations.
We had an epic motoride adventures.🫶

Hey its Jen and I would like to share my blog. This blog of mine tells how beautiful Palawan is. Tourists who’ve been to Palawan really enjoyed and loved their vacation there. As of 2016, the main island of Palawan is rated the "Most Beautiful Island in the World" as voted by respective readers of rival travel publications Conde Nast Traveller and Travel + Leisure.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Many views and sites were breathtaking like the Underground River which was entered as the Philippine entry and topped the first round of voting in the New7Wonders of Nature competition. On January 2012, Malacañang expressed elation on Saturday over the official inclusion of the Puerto Princesa Underground River in the world’s New Seven Wonders of Nature.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another breathtaking view is the Big Lagoon that has various corals. It is located in the El Nido area of the Palawan archipelago in the Philippines. It is at about a distance of 238 kilometers away from the capital city for us to give a better idea of the distance that we will need to cross to get ourselves out of the hustle-bustle of the busy municipality and insantly land onto one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We should appreciate & protect the beauty and wonder of Palawan because it is a creation of God and it helps not only our country but also ourselves to relax and have a peace of mind.

EL NIDO PARADISE EXPEDITION: GOOD TO KNOW:
This is my second time to be in Palawan. Last time (April 2018), I went to tour A, B and C. It was nice. So this time I for this expedition. I am not sure but it seems like it is a normal weather is Palawan to have sun / and rain . It usually rain in the afternoon. ⚫️El Nido Paradise office was 10 minutes walk away from our hotel. You just have to ask people how to get to the office. ⚫️Expedition for 4 nights and 5 days costs us 22,500 each in Philippine money. El Nido, Palawan: Nature’s Hidden and Secret Beaches (Tour C)
Tumblr media
Situated in Bacuit Bay and nestled amongst limestone cliffs, El Nido captured the hearts of many travelers with its unspoiled setting, astonishing lagoons and rock formations, powdery white beaches, crystal clear waters, and diverse marine life, enough to make one leave in awe.
The sun shone brightly across the clear blue sky when we arrived at Puerto Princesa Airport. Our driver going to El Nido, not minding the scorching heat, welcomed us with his charming smile. Albeit, halfway down the road, the rain started to pour, making me worried if our tours will be cancelled. It took us at least 5 hours of endless chats, bumpy rides, curvy roads, and one stop over before we finally reached our destination. Ahhh, hello, El Nido!
After breakfast the next day, our tour guide fetched us from our accommodation and led us to the meeting place where we waited for the other tourist groups before proceeding to the boat. There was a drizzle but it didn’t stop the thrill in my heart the moment I saw our boat floating toward us. It’s like a new adventure awaits, the kind of escape that will feed my soul.
Tumblr media
We all found our way to the boat, settled ourselves with life vests, and prepared our minds as the boat moved towards the center of the sea. Our tour guide explained our itinerary for the day, schedules, signals (when we need to go back to the boat), and some safety rules.
Tumblr media
HELICOPTER ISLAND
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A prologue to more pristine beaches, Tour C started with Helicopter Island. An island named after its queer shape, it has a long stretch of fine, powdery sand and crystal clear waters perfect for beach bumming and snorkeling. We spent at least 30 minutes taking pictures and soaking ourselves on the beach. Then, we headed to our next destination.
HIDDEN BEACH
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Docking the boat in the middle of the sea, we needed to swim towards a little bit on the side of the cave, a small and narrow channel covered by limestone showing us the wonders of the Hidden Beach. Well, it’s not named “hidden” after all for no reason, right?
TALISAY BEACH
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Our boatmen, in time for lunch, took us to Talisay Beach, a famous picnic area for tourists. While waiting for our food to be cooked by our tour guides, we relaxed on the fine sand, indulged ourselves with the sound of crashing soft waves, and admired the limestone cliffs surrounding the beach. By around 1 PM, our feast was ready and everyone dug in our sumptuous meal. Why is eating with your bare hands in front of the beach tasted more delicious? Ugh, so satisfying!!!
SECRET BEACH
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Energized with our meal, we embarked on our next stop and almost 30 minutes away, our boat finally anchored in front of a limestone wall. Confused as I am not seeing a beach anywhere, we needed to swim through a hole again so we can reach the entrance going to the Secret Beach (joke, syempre di kami lumangoy, hinila lang kami ng tour guide, hahaha!) The current was relatively strong making it easy for Kuya to push us towards the hole. Upon reaching the other side, we were rewarded with a very shallow beach, almost clear that you can see the rocks and corals below (make sure to wear your aqua shoes!).
MATINLOC SHRINE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Afterwards, we cruised going to Matinloc Shrine, an abandoned pilgrimage site. You can opt to do a short hike on the rocks to get an encompassing view of the nearby islands and tour the inside of the shrine or do snorkeling instead.
Tumblr media
For a sun seeker beach bum, Tour C entails astounding views, prodigious seascapes, and secluded shores. It offers a good combination of laid back swimming and superb snorkeling fix. Getting the novelty to plunge into holes and catch breathtaking beaches was an action-packed adventure for our first day in El Nido.

Future Travel Adventures
Tumblr media
When I was a kid, I’ve always loved going into adventures, although I didn’t really go  anywhere far, I just always loved walking around our wide yard, going into the pig pens,  walking around and talking with the pigs, hesitantly visiting the chicken coop, carefully  walking around the chickens to talk to the little chicks while their mother glares at me to  the side, waiting for right moment to attack, and even just going around the garden my  grandmother tended to, just silently crouching, sitting on the ground to look at the  flowers, smelling the sweet scents of the roses, hanging on the branches of the trees,  sometimes, even falling off and hurting myself, though not too badly.
I would also go outside with my cousins and brother, we’d sneak out to go to the woods,  climbing trees we weren’t supposed to be climbing, and picking fruits from the branches,  or sometimes just laying in the thick branches of the trees, feeling the cold afternoon  breeze, and just thinking quietly, some in their own thoughts, while the others have  some light conversations, just making sure nobody dozes off and falls off the tree. Until  we’d realize that it’s getting dark and start heading home. These places were a part of  my childhood, there’d always be a place I’d go to depending on my mood, and thinking  about it, this is where I’ve developed my dream of visiting other places, because despite  becoming a house person in my current years, I’d always remember my childhood  where I loved going to new places and asking about the different stories that are  popular in the area, sometimes hearing scary tales or magical tales about the place.  And now, as I turn older, the dream still lingers, I still want to travel to find new place so  I can see the beautiful sceneries, learn about the culture, history and hear different  folklores or tales about that certain area. That’s why I made a compilation of different  locations all around the world that maybe someday, I’ll be able to travel to.
Palawan Philippines
One of the most beautiful island in the Philippines, Palawan Island is located off the  northern coast of the Philippines along the South China Sea. Palawan has been a  favorite tourist spot especially when The Underground River at Puerto Princesa has been given the honor to become one of the 7 Wonders of the World in 2012. But it isn’t  just a favorite by foreigners, I can tell you that this place is always included in a Filipinos  travels list, with it’s stunningly clear and blue water, this island is also known to be a  habitat of amazing wildlife, with a fauna and flora that is closely related to that of  Borneo. Some example of these wildlife are the Palawan peacock pheasant, Philippine  mousedeer, and the Palawan bearded pig. Other than the astonishing wildlife in this
island, there are also breathtaking beaches that will captivate your heart. From El Nido’s  most beautiful beach, Nacpan, to the very famous jumpoff point beach, Sabang Beach,  there are a lot of islands you can visit by boats in this place. Imagine floating in crystal  clear water while gazing at the sky, seeing the contrast between the dark gray limestone  islands and the lush green vegetation that sits atop. That would be an experience that  will take your breath away.
Antelope Canyon
The Antelope Canyon, a slot canyon in the American Southwest, on Navajo land east of  Page, Arizona. Probably one of the most beautiful place I’ve seen, one of the most  picturesque place too. I bet you’ve seen this one in wallpapers for phones and other  devices like laptops and computers. This slot canyon was formed by the erosion of  Navajo Sandstone due to flash flooding and other sub-aerial processes. This place is  HEAVEAN for photographers, because no matter what angle you take picture off, with  the aesthetic of the place, it will still come out perfect. The red sandstone in the canyon  becomes more stunning as sunlight hits them in a perfect angle, turning the sandstones  to look like fires burning around you, dancing with the curves and crevices of the  canyon.
