Sorry for the late reply, I suddenly had no power at my place thanks some drunkards that crashed into the electrict box just a few houses down. And thuse lost anyway to write back, was not helped my phone had less then 10% left and I needed it to call my parents for help. Things are finally fine now, mostly. So are the drunkards, but I think their wallets are about to cry.

Anyways, back to the au.

Okonogi ain't the only one that blush during the mating season Sonic. Mina and Soshiro gets red in the face with some of the antics Kafka do druing those few weeks the mating season last. And its hard for anyone to reject the courting gifts Kafka gives. He takes great care in what he gives.

Jun has a fun time though when it comes around. So many interesting pictures to take and she finds she don't mind any of the persons Kafka seems to be attracted to. Not even Mina despite what happened between them, no matter the path. Though she has to admit that seeing kaiju mating behaviour puts a bit of weird twist about how her son tries to find a spouse. Kafka is just beet red each time he realize his mom has seen some of the stuff that happens around summer time.

And then theres the lizard brain moments. Which is as equally annoying as it is endearing and funny, when not casuing trouble when on duty.

Sunbathing is a thing and a must for Kafka now. It became clear quite early has Kafka began to suffer from similare issues any reptile do when not getting the sun for a long time. Only that there is this little problem in the fact there are no sunlamps around big enough for him to use. He's five meters tall now and that counts for something. At least in winter, Kafka don't seems to need it too much.

It became a thing for Kafka to be transported through those cars meant to take kaijus from one place to the other, and take him to the exam sites where Kafka could for the most part sunbath in peace. And the truth got out in public it became a common site to see Kafka nap in the training grounds instead. Being able to do so now without worry that someone would call upon seeing Kafka there thanks to that fence that keeps the public away.

However, lizard brain is gonna lizarrd brain. Kafka sometimes walks to the other division bases instead of sitting in a transport car all the time. Especially when there are issues with getting from place A to B. So if Kafka spot a good place to sunbath while on the road? Good luck is all I say to that.

Jun would definitely have pictures and footage of her son's courting attempts. She finds it quite cute in its own way. Kafka...not so much.

The first thing that came to mind were those lions lounging in the middle of the road and causing traffic. I imagine Kafka doing this to his embarrassment later on. Absolute unit of a kaiju loaf who refuses to move from his cozy spot on the asphalt.

Project of the year

Like many pieces of the time, this one is inspired by Jared Dines as well.

It features my own percussion with cajon and shakers. It is recorded on acoustic guitar as well as on electrict. The intro effect is created by a bass with 100 % wet reverb.

I think some of the sections are actually good and technically interesting while others are overloaded with distortion and/or layers and harmonically a bit misplaced. But overall, I like listening back to it. Of course it has nothing to do with the project that inspired it and can't really be called djent, but it's a cool metal instrumental.
