Okay! I'm at the "make it badly" stage of my creative process. Like I need to just make something that makes sound or I'm never going to make anything. So I'm thinking like a super bare bones semi-modular thing: DCO + slew limiter/ASR + passive LPG, just completely stripped down of any fancy features
Future innovation can build on the lessons learned.

S1000d Software Working Process - Code and Pixels
A new buzzword in the technical publishing world. New word? Not exactly new, but surely it’s a new word in the Indian Defense Technical Publishing segment.
S1000D is an Interactive Electronic Technical Publishing(IETP). It’s also called #ietm too.
S1000d is not new but very few Indian companies, which support documentation of foreign Airline documentation are similar to #S1000d word. But almost 90 % of the people who do S1000D conversation do not know what s1000d is.

For the Birds 010
A brand new look and new intro for the show. Same concept. One hour of music containing, or relating to, our feathered companions. The idea being that if the channel gets enough subscribers to cover the costs of production then I’ll start buying birdseed to reimburse our avian friends for the royalties they probably never received. https://www.mixcloud.com/widget/iframe/?feed=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.mixcloud.com%2Fdjsofabed%2Ffor-the-birds-010%2F&hide_cover=1&mini=1

What Is An Inductive Force Sensor?
Tumblr media
An inductive force sensor is a type of sensor that utilizes the principle of electromagnetic induction to measure force. It operates by detecting changes in inductance caused by the force applied to the sensor, translating these changes into corresponding electrical signals. Typically, such sensors consist of coils, a magnetic core, and an outer casing. When force is applied, causing a displacement of the magnetic core, it alters the magnetic flux density within the coil, thereby generating measurable electrical signals.

professor admitted he's reading every section of everyone's coursework paper individually (all the intros at once, all the method sections at once, etc) so won't know which corresponds to which. i'm trying to stop repeating myself so much in papers but now i'm having to make sure everything is justified/explained in every section because someone can't be arsed to read a piece of work as it's meant to be read

I have made the questionable jump from building all my Eurorack modules to actually purchasing one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is Behringer's 150 module, a clone of the module of the same number from the classic Roland System 100 modular synth. It combines a ring modulator (a 1496-based four-quadrant multiplier, not actually a diode ring), a white and pink noise source, a sample and hold, and a low-frequency oscillator in one module. (The original Roland modules seem to have thrown this LFO in any time a module had spare panel space; a duplicate of it is on the 140 dual ADSR envelope generator.) These are all functions that my Eurorack setup has been a bit iffy on. My noise module has been a little squirrelly for a while, I only recently built a ring mod, I've been depending solely on the Sigma function generators for LFOs, and the closest thing I had to an S&H was the Little Bits random module. I'd been eyeing this guy for a couple of years, but the recent price drop to $50 made it irresistible.
(Behringer have a mixed reputation, which I'm not going to litigate here; if I had the funds to purchase modules from others I probably would, but there you go.)
I think I'm going to remove the Little Bits Adapter and the Toy Drum modules, along with the Noise2 module, to make room in the case for it. I still plan on building that bigger case, but progress on it has been slow; there are materials I need to gather and some design revisions to be worked out. But I should be able to pseudo-krell after putting this in, so that's exciting.
(I'm also looking at some modifications that can be made to the module — creating a track&hold mode, for instance, or breaking out the "delay" in the LFO into a general purpose VCA. The ring mod is also AC coupled, so it won't work with DC signals; it's possible to remove the caps that cause this, but I'm unsure about side effects just yet. I'll probably run it as-is for a while.)

Downloaded TR808 schematics today because I needed a distraction from Karplus-Strong (which in turn was a distraction from the DCO, which was a distraction from the clock, which was a distraction from the sequencer, which was a distraction from the DCO again...)

finally, after over a year I finished this track. not really a remix nor a cover, but a continuation
I hope you enjoy it. Out of all the music tracks I've done for my little project so far, this is the one I've put most of my heart into.
