my fear about them not using the keep for datv (along with the fact that it allows for less variance in worldstate, but i do buy the excuse that a lot of that stuff won’t be relevant in a wider story set years later) is that the keep is going to be abandoned and/or deactivated, making it impossible to play any type of custom world state in inquisition

i feel weird posting video on tumblr it just doesnt really seem like the platform for it like when im using this website i dont really watch videos... i look at gifs and niche memes.... but ive been making a lot of videos for tiktok/instagram so idk. heres one you can see more here

ANYWAYS process for this piece . also before I started recording anything i did most of the lineart between assignments on my work computer so i put some screenshots of that below the cut.

lately ive been drawing whatever bg perspective/lines makes sense for a pose and then positioning the angle/composition/"camera" after.

original sketch i started with + bg I extrapolated around it. i did this for a bunch of my life is strange 2 fanart also.

final framing. kinda makes me feel like a photographer. or 3d modeller. I guess its makes dutch angles especially easier. theyre kind of difficult for me to do without drawing the normal un-dutched perspective first so i rarely plan out a dutch angle from the beginning. downside is that i ed up cropping out a lot of the drawing but.. thats why ive been doing it after the lines phase as opposed to after colors LOL.

lapis and the masked guy were out ; their room was empty for now. sort of rare since they'd got here——usually at least one of them was in when he was, so the quiet left behind is all at the same time peaceful and a bit of a downer.

there's a bunch of reasons for this, probably.

for starters: all this time, and he's never really gotten used to being alone. sure, he'd left the village, and he'd definitely never been as surrounded by other people since, but he'd joined elusia's academy not too long after that——found hortensia. found goldmary. it didn't take much for them to be inseparable, all of them kinda with their own reasons for wanting to find some people they could feel close to. thinking of it like that, he really misses them.

a wave of something powerful starts up just below his stomach, crests up over the bars of his ribcage like the tide, choppy and strong, tipped with white fingers that reach their salt into his throat and try to get all the way to elusia on the other side. his hand slows where it absently rubs a towel over the back of his neck, pauses as he stares distantly at and past the bed where lapis sleeps, imagines for a moment that his other friends might be in the other two on either side of him, and. . .

second: the times he has been alone haven't really been good ones. there's coming out of his village for one——those couple years he'd been trying to figure out what to do, where to go, the world was so big!, what do i even do with it?? and most of time it's ' do you always talk like that? ' ; ' what's wrong with your hair? ' ; ' oh you're like really... really intense. '

you know, nothing serious or anything. just little things that you don't worry too much about, that you can't say anything to in the moment except ' uh huh, yeah ' and don't stop to wonder later why something,

kinda bothered you.

the casual blow had been meant for him. but had struck lapis instead. . . and left her cracked and bleeding.

because by now, anyway, that sort of thing doesn't bother him much anymore. he knows people are gonna say what they're gonna say, think what they're gonna think, and there's really only so much he can change about himself.

but he also knows that there's so much to change about himself, so much to decide whether and how much he should or even wants to——that it's a fine, fine line between sacrificing too much of himself and making sure he can be well-liked, a fine, fine line between i dunno, never had this problem before and no one's gonna like me otherwise.⠀(⠀you never know if a friend gets hurt because of it otherwise.⠀)

Who else would I do but my favorite boy Gian? However I think he's particularly good for this because manz has gone through such an evolution.

-I made him in July 2019 for @colourfullsims big brother challenge, and Cam actually is responsible for his overall style and vibe! When i made him I was like 'eh he's elimination fodder' but as is common with my sims I send people- he became a fan fave lol. (And I think Cam takes most of the credit for that!!! She did such a fantastic job with him!!) -Upon losing big brother I decided to run a bachelor challenge for him, ~The Gianlerette~ era (idk if I'll ever top that as a reality tv show challenge tbh) And 1. he got so jacked like jfc and 2. he really embraced an eclectic style. -Since that ended he's my go to pretty boy to throw new CC on./ just rotate in CAS. He's just living his best life in the gianlerette save with dreama uwu

Anyway, my brother absolutely lost it over Rocky being eliminated. Like jesus christ dude get a grip its a fictional rock. But yeah he's lowkey ruining bfb, something we've enjoyed watching together for years now, for me.

He won't shut up about how Cruel and Heartless everyone on the internet is for not liking Rocky (I think it's valid to dislike him, I've never been too fond of him myself) and going on about how miserable it made him.

He's older than me for God's sake.

So yeah, sorry for the vent, but he's making me crazy /neg
