Lugares del mundo~

Volvemos por un poco más~

Hace unos días Incarna subió las imágenes de los mapas de nuestro mundo y aunque era una pequeña parte de este, las ubicaciones esas son muy importantes. Por eso, para no dejarlos a medias y para ampliar en detalles hoy vengo a contarles sobre algunos lugares de nuestro mundo que serán habitables o visitados por los personajes.

Para comenzar desde el principio, voy a comentarles que nuestro mundo tiene actualmente 6 reinos en total: Elysian, Firmamento, Umbrial, Nimth, Pangea y Aleph. Estos reinos se destacan porque distintas deidades viven en ellas y ocupan un lugar importante, incluso para la vida de los humanos, mientras que otros fueron creados a lo largo de la historia de nuestro mundo.

Para comenzar Elysian es el hogar de nuestro dios Verethragna. Este reino es una ciudad flotante, escondida, en los cielos en la que viven seres celestiales junto a él y algunos humanos que decidió llevarse consigo considerándolos dignos de salvación, esta ciudad está hecha puramente de tecnología avanzada, incluso mayor a la que alguna vez hubo en Pangea.  

Firmamento es el reino de Varkas y Gaia. Por un nombre su ubicación es bastante clara, aunque llegar al hogar de los dioses que habitan este reino es más que una odisea. Ambos dioses viven aquí, mas en distintos palacios. Desde aquí ellos contemplan la vida de los humanos en Pangea, envían las estrellas a esta para dar nuevas vidas.

Como fuimos adelantando, existe un reino de las almas, donde llegan aquellos que han perdido la vida para comenzar, o no, nuevamente el ciclo. Umbrial es el nombre de este reino, aquí viven Lydos y Caos. A diferencia de los demás reinos, Umbrial se encuentra en una dimensión alterna a todos los demás, se extiende por 7 niveles distintos, Cinco de estos niveles son accesibles para los humanos y otras razas, aunque con los debidos rituales.

El reino de las sombras es Nimth, se encuentra por debajo de Pangea a un nivel subterráneo de esta, teniendo la misma extensión que el supercontinente. Aquí es donde vive Wyrm junto con los oscuros, algunos heraldos e híbridos también si así lo desean, aunque como deben suponer, no es el lugar más feliz de todos.

Aquel que conocemos como nuestra tierra, el hogar de los humanos y escenario de las peores catástrofes es Pangea. Anteriormente el paisaje y la geografía de la tierra eran distintos, mas a partir del apocalipsis todo cambio, convirtiéndose en el súper continente que es hoy en día. La extensión de este reino está mayormente inexplorado, salvo por algunos sectores que valientes individuos de las distintas razas salieron a explorar.  Aquí mismo fue donde Gaia estableció los 3 refugios, las metrópolis protegidas por su poder (El Bunker, Holmes y Nagareboshi). Cada uno guarda, en su mayoría, las costumbres, tradiciones de ciertas etnias y por supuesto sus habitantes se encargan del gobierno y administración de los mismos. Dentro de los refugios se permite que convivan humanos, híbridos y heraldos que no tengan relación con los dioses que causaron el apocalipsis. Existe un cuarto refugio, aunque se lo conoce por el nombre de Fortaleza de Ghuldhur donde viven los heraldos, mayormente, de los dioses que causaron el apocalipsis. La Fortaleza es un castillo antiguo restaurado donde no existe ningún tipo de ley o norma de convivencia, mas que la supervivencia de más fuerte, es un lugar altamente hostil.

Fuera de los refugios existen otros lugares dentro de Pangea que son conocidos, mas no habitables. Estas áreas tienen condiciones climáticas extremas y son altamente peligrosas ya que se encuentran desprotegidas de cualquier dios.

Por ultimo llegamos al final de la lista con el reino que tiene unos pocos años de existencia: Aleph. Este apareció luego del apocalipsis en Pangea, como un residuo por los poderes de los dioses es un reino que aparece y desaparece transportándose por alrededor de toda Pangea. Aquí todo es posible, cualquier cosa con solo pensarla puede volverse realidad, mas encontrar el Aleph tiene que ver más con la suerte que con la habilidad, puesto que su ubicación siempre cambia y es impredecible.

¿Qué les pareció? En el foro estarán las guías con la información más completa sobre estos sectores, por eso siempre tómenlo como un pequeño resumen de con qué se van a encontrar cuando estemos listas para nuestra apertura, que por cierto no queda mucho! i’m here joining the second muse hype train everyone, this is rua’s mun april with my new darling do jaein! please forgive me for the lack of pages and for the really bad application, just skip that okay. i also took ten years to pick her a name so sorry admins for changing that up on you last minute. anyway details are under the cut!

elysian born & raised to a young, happy couple (what??? in elysium?? really??)

they were youthful revolutionary types but it was doomed to fail obviously

basically they were in a little rebel group or faction or whatever but it was small and unsuccessful due to a fractured message and hotheaded impulsiveness and so on

so she grows up pretty normal and run of the mill but her parents get involved in a demonstration that turns into a riot and the elysian policeforce reacts with violence and she witnesses them basically open fire into the crowd, including taking out her parents

things go downhill after that and she really doesn’t cope well with the trauma or the anger of  all of that. she never goes through the grieving process appropriately and begins lashing out at literally anyone

she’s in a vulnerable position being a newly orphaned youth and all that, does her best to keep her head above water, takes on odd jobs and delivery deals mostly, likes zipping around on the motorcycle the company gives her to do the work and all that 

it takes her a lot of effort to make friends but when she does she’ll be loyal until death basically

she started augmenting herself over the years in order to avoid being further victimized and as a sort of attempt at controlling her own weaknesses , she’s deathly afraid of vulnerability in any form 

she fully and truly believes the police force is a pile of bullshit and that no one is looking out for the underdogs of the city, so she’s taken that upon herself

thus turning into a bit of a vigilante and all that over time, really digging herself into a violent niche in the city

for the most part she keeps her actions as vigilante generally on the downlow. not like wearing a bat mask or anything but she’s not exactly hugely obvious about it. it’s something you could figure out if you pay enough attention, however. 

she augmented herself a LOT in order to be able to hold her own and reliably come out on top in a fight, but she’s also generally strapped in weapons too because she doesn’t believe in really taking too many mad chances. the worst idea was the wired reflexes, however, because it has her adrenaline amped to 100 near constantly, which takes its toll on her in a really big way and generally makes her an erratic, twitchy, overheated mess.

but its too late now *nervous laugh* it’s totally fine

she’s lowkey bounty hunting for cash and takes on various day jobs she gets fired from abruptly for being a paranoid hothead, so you’ve probably seen her around

Your eyes widened as soon as you stepped into the banquet hall. It was usually empty, dark and grey. But the table consisted of flowers, leaves, fruits and any other colors unimaginable to be seen in the Underworld. 

Kyungsoo gulped. “It’s, er, I figured you liked fruit.” 

You stared at him momentarily in awe. Was Kyungsoo, the God of the Underworld, wooing you with fruit? You felt your lips turn into a smile but licked your lips to hide it instead. 

“Ah,” you murmured softly as you took a step closer towards the dining table. “And... this will be filling for you?” Dinner usually consisted of bread, meat, wine. This was the opposite. Then again, both of you were. 

He pulled the chair for you. “As long as you are, then I am too.” 

You surprised him every step of the way. There were three regions of the Underworld. As his partner, his queen and the goddess of the Underworld, he took the time to show you where he lived and where you would dwell with him. 

At Tartarus, the deepest region of the Underworld and otherwise known as hell, you didn’t flinch. You looked down and even took a brave step forward and asked about the Titans. Kyungsoo all but had a heart attack and grabbed your wrist before you could get any further, causing a shuffle and his arms wrapped around you protectively. 

“W-where did you think...” he stammered, his eyes wide and still in shock of what you just did. 

You smirked playfully. “Are you being affectionate with me, Kyungsoo?” 

He blinked and tried to find his words. “Let’s go.” He tentatively let go of you but kept his fingers intertwined with yours, refusing to let you go. 

You’d fallen asleep on his shoulder by accident. He’d shown you the Elysian Fields next. Paradise. Home of the heroic and where mortals aspired to go to. You’d immediately spotted a bench as you took in the view.  It was light, free from sorrow or grief. You were glad he’d shown it to you last. 

“I had no idea this existed here,” you said more so to yourself than to Kyungsoo. He led you towards a nearby bench as you both quietly sat next to each other. 

“Not most mortals do,” explained Kyungsoo. “When everyone thinks of the Underworld, they think of despair. Not this possibility.” 

You glanced over at him, your eyes thoughtful. “They don’t think of the possibility of you either.” 

Kyungsoo’s brows furrowed. “Of me? Of course they know I’m here.” 

You shook your head with a small smile. “Of course they do,” you replied, your head falling on his shoulder. “But they only see one side of you. This, they don’t see. Just like your Elysian Fields.” 

Kyungsoo was thankful that you weren’t facing him. His heart leapt. But as soon as he found out that you’d fallen asleep, your eyes closed and your breathing even, he stayed frozen to the spot for hours, barely breathing, for fear of waking you up. 

Kyungsoo was in a mood. The deal was that you’d stay in the Underworld for half of year and remain on earth during the other half. It was breaking his heart to know that you’d be away. 

He didn’t say much but he showed it through his actions. The gentle touches that only the two of you would see, a hint of a smirk from his face that you’d mirror playfully and unsaid declarations of love that you both teetered on during the past six months. 

And, yet, once there were only a few days left for you to leave, neither of you could say a word. 

“You must be happy,” said Kyungsoo as he walked you to your bedroom. He’d been kind enough to give you your space, never forcing to ask you to sleep with him or stay in his room. He was careful and cautious. You could tell that he cared. 

“Happy?” you murmured in confusion, pausing in front of your door. 

“You get to go back home soon.” He shifted uncomfortably, almost looking sad. 

You took a step forward, your fingers finding his. The words were out of your mouth before you could think. “This is home, with you,” you said softly. His eyes widened as he searched your face for anything that indicated otherwise. 

“Y/N, you don’t have to...” he stammered shyly. 

You pressed your lips to his and both of your hearts stilled, then beat in time. He kissed you in return, the Queen of the Underworld. 

You ran towards him as soon as you saw Kyungsoo. He had that stoic face that he always had but you saw his eyes turn and his lips curl and you knew he was happy to see you. Your arms found his neck, your body colliding into his as he let out a low laugh. You laughed in return, pulling back with a bright smile. 

“That’s an unforgettable hello,” he teased with a smile. 

“Half a year without you is torture,” you sighed, frowning as the carriage led you both away to the Underworld. 

Kyungsoo nodded, refusing to let you go for the next six months. “It is,” he murmured, kissing your forehead. “But we’ve got the rest of eternity with each other. Just always come back to me.” 

You smiled, tiptoeing to kiss his smile. “Always.”

I vault and smash through the garage door window, twisting in the air to land sliding on my knees. I skid to a halt before Fareeha, ignoring the glass that‘s shredded my knees during my slide. I pull the rose from between my teeth, holding it in offering to the Egyptian goddess afore me. “For you, my darling. I cannot force you to leave with me, but I yet beseech you: let me carry you to the fields of Aaru. Let me show you how deep my love runs.” Despite my bravado, my breast trembles nervously.

The smashing of glass had the soldier flinch then stiffen every muscle within her body as her prosthetic’s bio-mechanical muscles bulked up and the digits curled into a fist. The fight of her fight or flight reaction was set in place as she turned to stare you down. But upon seeing the rose and hearing your words, her heart stuttered. No one had ever mentioned Aaru like that. Never had she met someone outside of her mother’s family that even spoke of it. The reed fields of gold and every pleasure known and unknown to man were what awaited her if she truly succeeded in her life’s goal. Here was this stranger kneeling before her, heart on display and bestowing upon her the warmth of love. What was she to do but accept. Taking the rose in hand, the blue digits of her prosthetic relaxed as caramel eyes searched your face. “Who are you and how do you know of my religion and culture so well?”

Admin: Holy good Gods...this...this Anon I love! I haven’t had someone TRULY interact with my darling Fareeha in such a way that I am genuinely impressed. I’ve yet to meet someone who knows of the Elysian fields or the golden fields of the Gods...Aaru.
