Framing Device: An anime loving teenager is telling classic fairytales to the kids they babysit as bedtime stories- with a twist!

Side Note: Nursery Rhymes being adapted is more for Shrek. So they won’t be here- sorry about that. But they do a good job at it. This anthology is meant for readers 12 and up, due to some of the themes in some of the stories.

The rain fell incessantly, heavily. The air was filled with humidity and the pungent smell of the undergrowth, the ground soft and muddy at times.

It hadn't been the easiest hike he'd faced recently, but despite the fatigue that was beginning to grip his calves he couldn't help but marvel at the splendor of Chenyu Vale. The emerald green of the foliage fading into the jade green of the river made the worry of finding a dry spot for the night something of little importance.

He had left Beidou and the Crux crew at Yilong Wharf, with the promise of meeting up in Liyue in two weeks to attend the Lantern Rite. They had spent the last few months on exhausting journeys between Liyue and Inazuma, and although he was now accustomed to life at sea and had come to love it, he felt the need to get back in touch with the land - and in the meantime train a little, which was difficult to practice on the deck of a pitching ship. Immersed in the view and his thoughs, he realized a second late that there was someone under the sloping roof of the abandoned hut towards which he was heading; a dark, shadowed figure that gave off the scent of dry, sharp wind. He had done nothing to conceal his presence and hoped the stranger would not be alarmed by it – encountering armed samurai when stranded in a storm could be a rather unpleasant experience. Therefore he tried to appear as harmless as possible when spoke to him.

Entering the shadows he could see his sudden companion in misfortune better, and the enormous hat he was sporting inadvertently made him smile.

It had been his first visit to the Vale, passing through in between secret meetings and the turnip’s endless insistence of scholarly work which he had been heading back to albeit deliberately slowly. His avoidance is not due to the task, he rather enjoyed it, but the hive of the overly chatty researchers frayed what little patience for humans he possesses.

Akuji would simply rather be anywhere else, but all sentences and debts will be served and paid in time.

He’d only taken shelter for a moment of respite and to watch the downpour, the weather itself only being a mild irritant only to one’s ability to travel. Thus, no fire lit to aid in warmth or dry clothes. The thought hadn’t even occurred to the puppet, and it is a wonder the man had noticed him at all in the waning day light.

“Hmm.” The Wanderer looked up at the strange, soaked man and nodded in acceptance. “Not at all.” His tone was curt, but not entirely impolite though he made no effort to introduce himself either, seeing little point in doing so.

The puppet examined the white-haired man giving him a polite smile, not out of worry of danger simply just out of habit, though he kept his face slightly obscured by his hat. It was clear to him that the man was Inazuman and likely a ronin. Not many others would seek refuge in long abandoned huts or hovels aside from those carried by the winds.

The ronin seemed pleasant enough, quite soft in speaking and mannered in way that is a rarity in those the puppet comes across. Not that Akuji had considered the fact that many of his unpleasant conversations are a result of his… bluntness, but it is refreshing, nevertheless.

Y/n(nar.): Wednesday, December 10th

A hooded figure runs trough a forest. Climbing over rocks and climbing up a tree before swinging on one of its branches.

Y/n(nar.): Running. It's seems like I've been running my entire life. Especially for these last five years.

The figure finally reaches the highest rock. He grabs a bow and an arrow, continuesly scapping the arrow on his knife trying to get a flame. Finally a spark ignites on the arrow causing the figure to draw back the bow and launch it into a pile of wood catching the attention of nearby fishermen.

Y/n(nar.): But that ends today. The island they found me on is Lian Yu, it's Mandarin for "Purgatory," and that's what it has been. I've been dreaming of my rescue ever torturous day for the last five years. I am returning not as the afraid boy who always ran from fights but as the man who will bring justice to those the law has failed.

The fishermen land on the island to see a black and orange mask on a stick with an arrow through its right eye.

Suddenly, they stopped as they heard a glass break and Laura screen from the kitchen. Clint rushed to the kitchen to see his wife shocked with her hand infont of her mouth.

so here is my version of the fankids of sonic ships, i would draw pictures but turns out i'm not good at drawing sonic character without a template her i'm going to describe them instead, also this takes place about 15 years in the future so sonic would be 30, amy would be 26, tails would be 23, cream would be 21, shadow still looks 15 but acts 30, knuckles would be 33, rouge would also be 33, silver will be 27, blaze will be 28, eggman would be in his 60s and etc, lastly the kids going to be like the incredible where the children gain a different power to what their parents have so enjoy <3.

Sonamy - they have 2 kids together, the oldest is their son who is called axel who is 9 years old, he's looks like sonic but he has a fringe like amy and his hair quills are longer then sonic's, he is a violet colour with purple tips on the end of his spikes and the end of his tail, he also has light green eyes and his shoes are a light blue, he acts like sonic's calm mode and his ability is using his spikes as a weapon, he can realease spikes on the back of his head like a porcupine and even grab the spikes and use them like a dagger

the youngest is their daughter who is called poppy who is 8 years old, she looks like amy but her hair quills is shorter then amy and she has no fringe, she is a blush pink colour with ballet slipper pink highlighte in her hair quills, she also has blue eyes that turns out came from sonic's father, she wears a candy red dress with strawberry pink shoes, her abillity is to mimic different abilities, she copies different abillity from everyone she knows like example, she can copy amy's hammer ability and use it wilily, same with sonic's speed, knuckles strength and gliding, shadow's chaos control and etc.

Tailream - they had only one child together and it's a girl, her name is honey who is 2 years old, she had short rabbit ears that were straight up and pointy at end, she had a fluffy face and she had a medium sized single fox tail, she has tail's eye colour and she is a shortbread beige colour mixed with white and fawn beige highlights, she wears a peach pink dress with white frills and a shy blue bow around the top of the dress, her ability is to communicate with animals and chao, it first started out she was fully understanding cheese and the other chao but then she could then understand what the flickies were saying too.

Knuxouge - they have 1 kid with a second on the way, the oldest is boy who is called brutus who is 10 years old, he looks like knuckles but he has bat ears like rouge and a little to no tail, he is a tangerine orange colour with white highlights in his quills and around his body, he also slightly fluffy around his face and he had no fists like knuckles but rouge's hands instead, he has knuckles' eye colour and his ability is super hearing, smell, taste, sight and touch, he can smell the scent of the master emerald about up to 100 miles away, he can see from a really long distant, he can taste ever ingredient that goes into a food, he can hear water dripping about 100 miles away and he can guess everything with his great touch.

the second child is going to be a boy and his name is ronin, he's going to look like the pair as he will have bat wings, a longer tail then knuckles, small bat ears looking like cat ears, no quills and a small face, he will have rouge's eyes colour and he will be mostly white with wine red blobs in places like a spotty dog and he will have fists like knuckles, his ability will be long distance flight and he will use his flight as a attack but till he is much older.

Silvaze - they have 2 kids together and the oldest is a girl, her name is lucy who is 6, she looks more like blaze then sliver but she had his eyes, fluffy chest and half of his personality, she was magenta pink with white, she was wearing a iris purple dress and had strawberry red shoes, her ability was make and control bubbles, she can use bubbles as a force field and also use bubbles to trap enemies and bad guys.

their youngest is a son and his name is goldie who is 3 years old, he was more like blaze in personality but he looked like silver physically with the only acceptions were his ears as they were cat ears, he was more fluffy then has quills and he has a white muzzle, he was almost gold yellow which is why he was named goldie with only the mussel and the tip of the tail being different which was white, his ability was to read other people's minds with touch and to teleport, when he touches someone on their hand, arm or face, he can read their mind and also see into their future, he can also teleport about from place to place and he can also teleport from different alternate universe and even to the past and future.

Eggman - long story short, eggman can't do his villian stuff anymore as he's like a 65 year old man and he has gain severe arthritis in his spine and legs so instead, he passed on the torch to his young long lost 4th cousin, it's a girl and her name is ivy robotnik or 'egglady' named by sonic who is 19 years old, she took over from eggman when she was 17 and she been the new 'eggman' ever since, she looks like a young teenager genderblend of eggman and she also acts like eggman the only things different is that she has really long ginger hair and she has no idea how to build robot so eggman builds them for her as he can still build things, orbot, cubot and sage happily accept ivy as their new mistress but still go back to eggman now and again for help (in orbot and cubot case, being abused by him), at first she went after sonic and his friends like what eggman use too but then sonic and his friends had their kids take egglady on instead as they were old enough to take her on.

other notes - sonic, amy and the others still help out their children like with tail with his many inventions, helping the kids out when they get in a pickle and fight eggman when he decided to join in but it all gone down the domestic living route and help their kids grow to become the new freedom fighters. Team chaotix help out too when they are in the area or they seem to be on a case that the egg family have caused, vanilla helps tails and cream with honey and wants to be the best grandmother ever to her, shadow still works for unit with omega and he with omega help out the kids with the egg family when they've done something bad again, he also loves babysitting the kids but acts like he hates it to his friends, all the kids are friends with each other like brutus and axel are buddies, honey and poppy are good friends as poopy is a good caretaker to honey, poppy is also great friends with lucy and they go over to each others houses for girly days, goldie is adored by axel and brutus and he going to be great friends with ronin, axes and poppy have a nice sibling relationship and same goes for lucy and goldie, brutus can't wait to see ronin and cream and tails are thinking about having a sibling for honey.

Anyway getting on the fic reading grind. I have two things (adding up to almost 200k) that I’ll read tomorrow, since my schedule is mostly free. There’s still a chance that I’ll have to do stuff though so I don’t know if I’ll be able to get to 200k or leave it at 150k. Planning it out is helping me figure out what to do instead of staring at the 250+ large hoard.
